I continue to be a huge fan of this series. The bounty hunting angle is so interesting -- and unique to my suspense reading. Love the way Night gives us insights into this occupation. Lots of intriguing tidbits of the day-in-the-life variety in between the crazy intense action scenes.

Speaking of which, what a cunning, diabolical mind the author has! Poor Cassie doesn't get a break from relentless attacks and endless pursuit. I was on the edge of my seat from the nail-biting opening scene right to the breath-taking conclusion. And I do so appreciate the creativity (and spine-chilling detail) in the suspense. So exciting!

As is fellow bounty hunter Leon Bragg. Love the twist in the romance, with Cassie being Leon's employer and therefore reluctant to become involved with him for ethical reasons. But that doesn't mean she can't appreciate his friendship. "In a world gone awry, where so many things were not okay, Leon -- who'd had her back more times than she could count -- often made her feel like things could be okay." (p 8) Watching Cassie slowly open up to the idea of loving again was a pleasure. Especially when she finally decides Leon is her man (grinning over one scene in particular.)

Another thrilling addition to the Rock Solid Bounty Hunters series. Oh -- and no worries if you haven't read the first two books, this one can be read as a standalone.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Cold Case Manhunt. This is book three in the series Rock Solid Bounty Hunters. I'm one of Jenna's fans and I was excited to get this book in the mail. It's well-written, action-packed, and full of drama. I know you are going to love this one.

Bounty Hunter Cassie Wheeler is driving home from a court appearance. She's on the phone with one of her employees when shots are fired. She's in the middle of a rainstorm, in the middle of a bridge. She gets over the bridge and flips over on the top of her SUV. She takes off running. She is able to tell Leon where she is before being injured. Is this shooter from the trial today or from her husband's murder five years ago?

Bounty Hunter Leon Briggs has worked for Cassie for several years. He has had her back as long as he has been there. He has managed to keep his feelings hidden from her. He finds her and helps her escape the two shooters. The police help them but Leon is sure that the danger isn't over yet.

A terrifying journey to find the answers to a five-year-old murder. God has a plan for these two, a good plan for hope and for a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not destruction even in this time of turmoil. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.

Yes there is definitely a spark between these two but she is his boss and her number one rule is there will be no involvement with an employee. Plus Cassie has unfinished business of finding who killed her late husband and why. Leon has always had her back, but when bullets start flying and explosions get too close for comfort, will it be enough? And could this really be caused by the new clue she found about her late husbands death?
This is an adventure that keeps you turning pages to the end. Loved the story.

This was a really good romantic suspense. I haven't read many book set in Idaho, but the author did a good job of describing the location in a way that I could easily picture it. As a history lover, I liked that the showdown was set in an old abandoned ghost town. I really felt for Cassie, a bounty hunter desperate for answers regarding her husband's murder five years prior. Leon, the hero, had a past to overcome, don't we all? This made him more real to me. And the happy ending brought a smile to my face.

What a roller coaster ride of multiple attempts on Cassie’s life that have you biting your nails to the quick. This is non stop suspense with a touch of romance. I love how Leon sticks by her side and hides his feelings but still is her protector. I found it impressive how Leon completely changed his life. An all around good read that kept me up way to late.

This book kept me reading to the end. It was scary all the attempts on Cassie's life. I was grateful for Leon's protection. This is the first Rock Solid Bounty Hunter Book I have read. It does make me want to pick up the other two to find out what happened first. I received a copy of this book, the review was not required. I didn't care for this one. I realize this is a work of fiction, but much of the story didn't make sense to me. First, 2 of the bad guys were supposedly sharp shooters, but they shot at Cassie and Leon MANY times and never hit them. Cassie is suppose to be a faithful Christian, but couldn't move on until Jake's murder was solved....wouldn't God want her to move with her life and be happy again? Anyway, I would suggest you read this for yourself and form your own opinion.

Good book and story line. Drama was just the right amount without overkill. I thought the shooters throughout the story were amateur's with little tracking skills working for someone, but this was not totally correct. It's up to the reader to determine what part of the statement is true or not. It's fun bringing a closure to this heroine she so desperately needed after the length of time getting her to this point in the series.

Hold on for a face-paced ride on the suspense roller-coaster! I love a book that catches my attention and keeps it with every word on the page! This is a fast-paced thriller that (as always with LIS) has a sweet romance throughout.

Bounty Hunter Cassie Wheeler has been trying to solve her husband unsolved murder for five years. Then suddenly several attempts on her life have her bounty hunter team on edge, especially Leon Bragg who quietly loves her from afar. Leon will do whatever it takes to protect Cassie.

A fast-paced cold case mystery that comes to life suddenly when a witness returns to town unexpectedly. I really enjoyed both Cassie and Leon as characters and loved watching their clear attraction blossom into fullness. Some of the twists were a bit of a reality stretch for me but I absolutely loved the ending!

Excitement abounds in this story and Jenna Night did a wonderful job of keeping the killer unidentified until almost the last page. Good job
