**4/5 stars**

The plot continues where we left off and we get to follow Draggar on a mission to retrieve the women who were kidnapped. One of them being Marie, the female who awakened his ancillary heart he thought was dead after the loss of his first mate. They also get more information on what is currently happening in the City of Huren and realize that the problem might be bigger than expected.

Honestly, I wasn't sure I would like this story because I usually have issues with the heroine being the second best for the hero but this time, it really didn't feel like it. Draggar had a sad past, yes, but he'd made peace with it a while ago. The beauty of all this was how fiercely protective and possessive he was of Marie, feeling an even stronger bond with her. There was no guilt or doubt about her, she truly was special to him. I loved how sometimes, he was broody and grumpy/growly, and other times he would be sweet, just like a teddy bear. He may appear surly at first glance, but he was wildly devoted and determined to keep Marie safe.

The scarred warrior we all feared the most had turned out to be a big ole grizzly bear with a marshmallow center.-Marie

As for Marie, she grew on me. Not the type of heroine I usually like because of her sharp tongue and bluntness, but I really liked how brave and resilient she was. Because of her life on Earth, she had a hard time trusting people in general and opening her heart was not an easy thing to do. What I liked about her journey was how she learned to value herself more and allowed her heart to trust Draggar. She was very self-aware and she could admit her mistakes and genuinely apologize for them. To me, it's one of the greatest development a character could have.

"I'd built up a wall around myself. But you stripped me of my distrust and showed me that I could love without getting hurt."
-Marie

I think this book had a great advantage when it came to the development of Draggar and Marie's relationship. We see a glimpse of other characters here and there but being alone together, the focus was solely on these two protecting and saving each other. It gave a lot of time for them to banter, laugh, talk, rely on each other, etc. Nothing about them felt rushed, which was a little bit of an issue for the couple in the first book. Draggar and Marie obviously wanted each other, but Marie was kind of reluctant to join her soul to him. It was a big decision to make and I'm glad she took the time to think it through before doing it.

"You're too impish for your own good, tiny warrior."
"Would you have me any other way?"
"I would have you all kinds of ways if you'd let me."

Overall, a really nice installment. We got to know about the situation in the City of Huren, but there is still so much to uncover and plan. Looking forward to the next books. And again, it's important to mention that these are not standalones. They have to be read in order for better context and enjoyment.

I liked this a tad bit better than the first book I believe. But....one big reason I'm not rating this any higher is that the intimate scenes really turned me off. Not what you want to hear when reading a romance, right? The first one was so cringe-worthy that I almost stopped reading. If you want to do like I did, which was skim past all of those scenes and just read the book for the plot, I think you'll enjoy it. I am looking forward to Elise's book, which unfortunately is several books ahead, and judging from how the series has gone so far, you really can't skip. 3.25 stars

Who needs blue when you can have silver?

I’ve only read 1 of the infamous blue alien books that are all the rage right now, but might I just say that these Silver Warriors have my heart and attention much more so they could even hope for right now. I love these books! And Marie’s story was thrilling, and spicy and tugged a bit at my soul. Highly recommend this series!

This is the second book in the series and now I’m not sure which one I liked best, who am I kidding I loved the both and I cannot wait for the next one to come out. Just like in the first book where a whole heap of women that where kidnapped from earth by these evil and ugly gray aliens called the Gretolic and now they use there mind control to order everyone around and take over. Rayyar is a traitor and is set free by Layla and he has now captured Amy and Marie and is taken them all bake to the city. Draggar knows he has a second chance at having a sprit mate with Marie after losing his first mate and child and he won’t lose another and he requests going after them to save the females but his mate as well. Marie plays dead and mangers to escape from Rayyar but soon finds herself trapped and falling through the earth but she is saved by Draggar the scared alien that has her all hot and bothered when ever he is close, when Draggar found his mate he wanted to claim her but she held him back unsure of what to do because she wants to go home to earth but fate will only wait for so long because the pull to be together is so strong between them. Can they find a way out of this mess and save everyone and have the future they so desperately want or is it too late with danger coming at them from all sides to survive.
Get this book to find out what happens next you won’t be disappointed.

Silver Seducer is the second installment in the Warriors of Valose Saga. It is everything I hoped it would be and more! Draggar and Marie's chemistry is off the charts and once I started, I just couldn't stop.

Marie, is the sassy talking girl we love to hate and Lily's close friend in Silver Savage. She's very independent and proves that she doesn't need anyone, let alone a silver-haired alien, coming to her rescue. Until, she finds herself in a situation that's out of her control.

Draggar has tragically loved and lost one spirit mate, and isn't on the hunt to find another. Until, he comes face to face with the tenacious, Marie. Now his ancillary heart that he thought would never beat again, has come to life. Is it possible to have found two spirit mates in his lifetime?

I highly recommend Silver Seducer to all adult romance readers who Love a nail-biting romantic Sci-Fi! This series is sure to please.

***I was provided an Advance Reader Copy in exchange for an unbiased review***

The second installment of this series did not disappoint! I'm still in love with the buff alien "elves"! The story has gotten even more intriguing, as the enemy is even more insidious as we thought in book 1. I really liked the interplay between the H/h here. He has his work cut out for him, as she has lots of luggage from Earth and can't seem to let that go. He is also stunned to have a second chance at mated life, since he had a mate before that died. She is determined to be prickly and unlikable, until he convinces her that he really doesn't care, he likes her anyway. All of this is going on while she has been kidnapped and he's trying to rescue her! Seriously, this book was full of action and craziness...and I don't even know what in the heck is going on, but it's exciting and I want more!!!! I can't wait until book 3, and I really want the bad guys to get theirs!

Wow! This series keeps getting better with each book! It kept me glued to my kindle. I couldn’t stop reading! With wonderful characters and amazing storyline you get a fantastic book! There are twists and turns that will have you wondering what will happen next. Draggar and Marie were great. They worked together to get through some tricky situations. Will they be able too find a way out of the mess they and the others find themselves in? Will they be able to survive all the danger that keeps coming at them? I can’t wait to see what will happen next! The next book can’t get here fast enough!

Second book in an action packed alien romance series. Marie has been taken along with another woman. They were betrayed by one of their own woman. Draggar will stop at nothing to save her. She means the world to her even if she doesn’t know it. Being abducted from earth and then crash landing on a very dangerous world is only the beginning to all the trouble and problems these women will face. If the animals don’t kill them the plants might. They will need each other and the help and protection of the silver aliens. Of course it doesn’t hurt that they are all gorgeous and would do anything to protect them.

This book follows the story of Draggar and Marie. Marie proves many times that she is a warrior and can find her way out of things, but she knows she needs Draggar to make it back to the others. She struggles to accept her mate, because she wants to go back to earth. The book is a little steamier in parts than I prefer, but it did not detract from the overall story. Ultimately, their story is intriguing and provides important information to keep the series moving forward. I recommend this book, it is worth the read.

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Oh this one is a good one. Remember the fiesty Marie. Yep we get her story now and it is a good one. It has some funny parts and some really interesting good parts. So Marie just happened to be taken and manages to escape in the dangerous jungle of Valose. Now I did not expect Draggar to want to go after the women that were taken. I mean I was expecting someone else so this took me by surprise. So Draggar seems to have his second heart jump started by Marie. LOL, GOSH I LOVE HER!! So will Draggar be able to rescue her. Well does Marie need a rescuer is the question. He finds her in the jungle and then their adventure begins. The creepy greyish aliens show up again. Why are they on this planet? Well we find out some interesting information that is for sure. Marie and the other women are not the only ones there. It seems like the male Valosians are under some mind control. The mystery builds and more questions arise. Will Marie succumb to Draggar? I mean his tongue is a work of art. LOL and from what I read, he could use it well. So yes we get some steam going. I loved the adventure I went on with Marie and Draggar. I cannot wait to see who is next in this series.

Would probably rate is 3.5 stars...the world fascinates me and I like how each book is linking up and there doesn't appear to be inconsistencies so far which is great. I am not opposed to fated/soulmates but so far the relationships just appear to happen so easily, I think I would like to see a little more work required to make the relationships work.

This book was written from a dual perspective, switching back-and-forth between the main male and female characters. Written in first person by Iona Strom, SILVER SEDUCER is the 2nd book in Warriors of Valose Saga, and follows the Valosian alien Draggar and his human mate Marie Rollins.

Marie was a girl from Atlanta, who had gone to college to pursue accounting but worked as a cocktail waitress for a strip club before she was abducted by the Gretolic aliens, (along with several other human femals). Her captors crash landed on a dangerous planet called Valose, near the city of Huren. The women were then rescued by Jakkar and his warriors. They made it safely back to the Valosian settlement, only for Marie to be kidnapped at the end of book 1 by the traitor Rayyar. She managed to escape her captors, only to fall inside a tunnel under the jungle, before Draggar found her.

Draggar was a seasoned warrior for Jakkar, exiled from the city along side the males who chose to stand with him. They took refuge inside a settlement they created from the ruins of a village that was destroyed during the last war with the Nuttaki, a tribe of primitive assholes that laid waste to Huren and half the Valosian people, including their former ruler. They had to move the exhiles and women away from the settlement after it was infiltrated at the end of book 1. During which, Marie was kidnapped and taken to Huren against her will, so Draggar volunteered to go after her.

Valosians resembled elves in human folklore, with long white hair and pointed pronounced ears, but with fangs and camouflaged scales instead of skin.

Marie was Draggar's spirit mate (soulmate) verified by his thrumming and his second heart beating. Spirit mates were complementing spirits. Once they find each other, the need to couple becomes an urgency impossible to ignore. Thrumming was a song of the souls, a rhythmic vibration of enticement to let the female know the male was ready to begin the bond. After her touch, his ancillary heart beat for the first time and Draggar had been "awakened." Only not for the first time. Draggar had a spirit mate Nakkia who died from a floratrap. Finding a second spirit mate was unheard of, but happened nonetheless.

The couple officially had sex in chapter 16, at the 65% mark, which was too long of a wait. I read this genre of books specifically for the raunch. Delaying sexual intercorse anytime after the 48% mark is like dangling the cheese so long it molds. I cut the author some slack in the first book because it typically takes longer to set up the plot and backstories. But there was no excuse in this book. Anyway, after first intercourse, the spirits of the mates would coalesce, and matching marks (called a shawra) would appear over their hearts. It was like a swirling tattoo of silver that glowed from within, and they could feel each other's emotions.

Valose was full of dangers, such as carnivorous predators and hostile enemies. There's the man-sized locusts known as the Nuttaki horde, carnivorous venus fly traps (floratrap) saber-toothed cats (patooga), huge sea creatures that could swallow a human whole (squidlin) and T-Rexes (rexose) to name a few. Most of this book was the couple fighting to get back to safety after they were reunited. They found that there were still a shit ton of human women in cages and still in need of a rescue at the end of the book. Several Valosian men were also being held prisoner by the Gretolic. According to Hexxus, they were to be taken to a planet called Tirius in exchange for something called kript. By the end, the couple survived the dangers of the planet, with Marie almost drowning at one point, and made it to the safety of the caves, where they reunited with the rest of the settlement. There was a lot going on in this book, a lot of which I didn't cover, so you will have to read it and discover the adventure for yourself. 🤪

So far, this series appears worth the read if this genre of books is in your wheelhouse. It had the perfect balance of adventure and romance. I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series. 🫶

Learned a new word: fidiot. Although I prefer the old school two word version. If you’re gonna say it, say it. This second installment in the Valise Saga series was actually better than the first. The romance was definitely second chair to the adventure, but that’s okay with me. At this point, I’m just reading to find out what the hell is going on.

This picks up exactly where the last left off, with Rayyar the Jerkface running away with three of the human women, only one voluntarily. Marie, our heroine, does the heroic stuff as one would expect and next we know she’s alone with Draggar, our hero, on an adventure. One during which we learn a lot, and develop even more questions.

I don’t like the gratuitous. Pretty sure we knew the place was dangerous before the gratuitous. That’s all I’ll say.

And the near-English fake alienese was annoying. Adrenalyne? Fates for feet.

The relationship here was more fun, however. I gotta admit. I liked their interaction when it happened. Like how he wrapped her into a foil burrito which started a rare conversation.

Marie was more like-able. I was worried she was a prostitute for a while. The “shady job” hint was there. She was at times relatable as well: “There was a fine line between bravery and stupidity, and I still hadn't decided which side of the line Draggar fell.” Me too. She’s 5’2” - no clue about age, but went to college - to his 7 feet.

And Draggar was more interesting. I agree with his position that the ignorant need to be saved the most. But I disagree that Layla is ignorant.

One of the questions I have is related to this:

“We had gone from living in stone structures with wooden walls to keep out the jungle, to an impenetrable dome powered by the reconfiguration of depleted nutrone spears the Nuttaki had left behind.”

Why didn’t they have stone walls around their stone structures? And why not build ships with the wood so they can explore across the oceans? Brava to Marie for asking why, even if it did offend.

I do like how the planet smells freshly laundered.

The sex was preceded by the reader being told several times that they neither of them had underwear on and “all it would take” was simply lifting his kilt. Once is plenty.

But, again, better than the first!

Errors:
“Rayyar had two girls slung over each shoulder.” — that’s four girls total
“My swords secure in the harness, crisscrossing my back,…” — strike first comma
“Penial penetration…” — penile
“It was dark except for a shaft of light cutting through the darkness.” — what else would the light cut through in a dark place except for…darkness

One of my new favorite series💖💖

I love but silver alpha males that know what they want and will love you hard to get it😘😘 This is the second book in the series. Women from Earth have been abducted by a grey creepy alien race that can control minds. We don't know why the women were stolen or to whom these creepy aliens want to give them too but they crash land on a Jurassic park planet called Valose where everything is out to kill you. At the end of the last book 3 women are taken and one of them is Marie, she's been hurt her whole life and the o my thing she's knows about love is that it doesn't seem real and that people leave. However she can't deny the soul deep attraction she feels for the gorgeous silver alien Draggarn seems grumpy all the time but is pure Alpha warrior. Draggar flips out when Marie is taken, he had not good her that since meeting her that his second heart began beating just for her. He never thought he would have a second chance at love. He lost his first wife to the dangers of the planet and their daughter to the disease that swept over the planet. When he realizes Marie's been taken he will stop at nothing to find and claim her as his. He is not willing to lose another. When he finds her the action and passion picks up. They fight together to safe one another from the deadly planet they live non and the aliens out to destroy them. As they rescue themselves more and more of the puzzle pieces to who the grey aliens are and what they want on Valose takes shape. Draggar and Marie were so much fun to read their chemistry is off the charts. Both ready and willing to defend the other all while falling helplessly in love with each other. Loved every second and can't wait for the next book to come out!💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

MUST BE READ IN ORDER. Abrupt ending, and fast romance hold this back.

I love the overall story-saga here, even the book centric plots, brief though they may be.

The characters all have great potential, some even managing to shine despite their brief intros and lack of story space.

However, the speed that resolution was found to overcome the FMC’s issues, plus what should have existed for the MMC, was just way too fast and too superficial.

The story was initially an improvement over B1 (though the FMC had some issues with empathy and compassion in regards to the MMC’s circumstances and recent losses that felt like a massive oversight).
We were spending more time in the present, and not just setting up.

But then we got a little lost in inappropriate sex moments, which was fortunately followed by some excellent suspense, action, and continued SF storytelling, only to be once again become lost to the fast paced romance waffle.

The author uses the spirit connection and sexual attraction to fill in for personal connections and getting to know each other.
Particularly in why they would choose each other… Without the before mentioned, it feels like any could fill in the position.

The end and romance wrap up came out of the blue, and felt very unexpected.

Sci-fi gold, romance floppy.
I love the overall story, world building, SF, even (maybe especially because), the imperfect characters.

I agree with another reviewer, that possibly the author wrote too fast to be able to build on what they would have learned from B1.
Obviously, its going to take a little longer for the work to grow and improve.

I still think it’s worth hanging in and continuing, the pros outweighing the cons.

I went back and forth between giving this 2 or 3 stars so many times but I guess the most appropriate rating is 2.5⭐️ and the official rating will be 2… since it’s really not as good as the first book and that for a 3.

This has the same issues as the first book, rushed/bland romance and rushed sex, but without the newness that the first book provided. Really, the ONLY reason to keep reading this series is strictly for the enemy aliens plot. Nothing else is worth it.

I really liked Marie in the first book so I thought I was going to like her book. She’s mouthy and fierce and has a sharp tongue, which I really like, but it felt like her character got watered down by her CONSTANT horniness and immature behavior in the face of a serious situation. I desperately wanted her to just talk to Draggar about her feelings rather than rambling about this in her head and jumping his bones at every opportunity.

The first spicy scene was absolute cringe. The rest were… not much better. I just couldn’t care about them having sex because I didn’t care about their relationship because THEY didn’t care about their relationship.

If you want to read a WELL DONE second love romance, where the male had a mate before meeting the female lead, try book #2 in the Ash Planet Warriors series by V. K. Ludwig. That one is handled beautifully.

I don’t know if I’ll continue this series… maybe one day when I’m not so annoyed with it.

For anyone who wants to read my annotations and notes, do be warned that the later ones may have some spoilers. And I do rant a lot. Probably the most notes I’ve written for a book before just because of how annoyed I was throughout those moments.

Badges of courage

Marie n several other human females were abducted from Earth by Gray skinned aliens known as "Gretolics" . They were rescued by Valosian warriors. She feels drawn to one warrior , in particular, but because of previous bad relationships is afraid to act on the impulses she's receiving. Even though he's alien, he's still a male. But he represents safety, security n shelter in this harsh environment where everything is designed to kill. Deep inside she yearns to finally hold onto something solid n feel grounded. To truly feel n be loved like she's the center of the universe. Can an alien like Draggar become that "special" someone?
Draggar has known since the rescue that Marie was his soulmate when his 2nd heart awakened n "thrummed". Something that's never happened before in Valosian history. He'd lost his previous soulmate to a carnivorous plant, while also losing his female child to the virus which decimated the female population. He's just biding his time until Marie comes to grips with the turmoil gnawing inside her. He can feel her attraction toward him along with the fear of commitment. But that's okay, he'll continue to nurture the growing ember between them.
Each person has their own grief to deal with. One of insecurity n rejection. The other scarred by travesty. Working together they find their own badges of courage as they battle the grey aliens while trapped inside the domed city held by Jakkar's twin.

Barely a chapter into the first book in this series, Silver Savage, I was hooked, and have been hanging out for book two. Silver Seducer continues where the previous book left off, and the fast-paced adventure doesn't give you a second to take a breath.
Kidnapped by the traitor Rayyar, Marie manages to escape but her freedom comes with more dangers. Meanwhile, Daggar, who has already lost one spirit mate, has no intention of losing another, despite his shock in discovering who that mate is. Bruised and battered, emotionally and physically, Marie has spent her life building an impenetrable shield, and she is not willing to allow anyone, let alone a drop-dead gorgeous silver alien, to penetrate it. A determination put to the test when she and Daggar have to work together, pitting their wits against a multitude of deadly situations in order to find their way back to their friends.
I was immersed in this book from the first word to the last page, experiencing the challenges along with Marie and Daggar. Ms Strom has created an incredible world; her attention to detail is astonishing. Now I am hopping about impatiently awaiting book 3!

Draggar + Marie

This one is a bit better than the first, expanding the world, the plot, and the action. But it sill felt a bit surface level on the characters and the romance. Especially since Draggar had previous had and lost his fated mate and infant daughter. These elements are simply mentioned and apart of his character story but not elaborated on. There is no emotional connection there to his past unfortunately. I love this trope, but it is rarely done so it was a bit disappointing that there wasn't more to it. But like I said, the plot and world is getting beefed up, so that's a plus. I think this is just a quick, easy to read series and there's nothing wrong with that.

Marie is the loud mouth, rude one of the girls and has a change of heart after finding her soul mate in Draggar. She has always been second choice so now that she has love, she isn't a bitch anymore, lol. The potential was there! The fact that she is kind of Draggars "second choice?" as in she's his second soul mate? idk, low hanging fruit here.

I'm invested now! Quick reads and a good amount of seeds planted for future books that I want to read more and find out what happens.

3⭐️ Hmm I liked this one, but something bothered me.
There wasn’t anything wrong with it..but it felt as if the story was told in a very superficial manner…as if it barely scratched the surface. And it felt a bit rushed.

Now for the things that I did like:

• The chemistry between Marie & Draggar🙈🙌🏻☄️💥🔥
• Marie was very feisty and just how I like my heroines 💁🏻‍♀️
• Draggar wasn’t like every other cliché pussy-whipped alien that I detest when reading this genre. Seriously, I hate it when I read about a big, hot alien warrior that acts like the heroine can do no wrong once he finds out that she is his “mate”. 😒😂
• No unnecessary third act drama 🫶🏻🎉

I am not sure if I should continue the series. While reading the first book, I was convinced that I would read all of them, but I saw that the books get shorter and shorter and like I said…the love stories between the main characters feel very surface level. Anddddd life is too short to force yourself to continue reading a series in the hopes that it will get better.🤷🏻‍♀️😅

A warrior who had lost his mate and child finds a new spirit mate among the human women saved from a spaceship wreck.

Duggar was a warrior following the exiled twin of the current king, when they flew to a crash site to see what they could salvage. In the downed ship were human women being held prisoner, many had been killed in the crash, but right were saved, freed from their cages and healed, a ninth was hiding somewhere on the ship, fearing all the aliens. One of the smartest ends up making an alliance with a Valosian, and another can feel the attraction to Duggar that means they can also form a spirt bond. It's not until she is kidnapped again that Digger follows her to save her. They find themselves inside the new domed city, and they also find several dozen gray aliens controlling everything.

Sizzles!

Draggar and Marie’s story is good. Well written. Hot, hot, hot!Enjoyed reading their adventure.
Wasn’t sure whether to be delighted or dismayed when I saw the Glossary of terms, but this was helpful.
Warriors of the Valose is a very interwoven book series meaning read in order or be lost. I always start a series at book 2 because the first is to much yada yada set up. I did okay starting at the Silver Seducer, book 2, but realized it might have been more enjoyable if I had started at Book 1.
What was frustrating about the Silver Seducer 2 is Layla releases Ragnar, the supposed bad guy, who takes Amy and Marie hostage. After a brief struggle Marie escapes and thus begins her and Draggar’s story. Not a word more about Ragnar, Layla and I hate when the bad guys or girls don’t get theirs or you have to read 6 more books to find out what happened to them.

LOVED this book! I am so enjoying this continuing saga of the Velosians and their spirit mates. Not just the romance, but the overarching story of the fight against the little grey guys. Every book, it gets more complicated. All three clans will need to work together (with their ingenious human mates) to defeat the enemies. Yes, now there may be more than one.

I didn’t take stars off for it, but the editor(s) could have done a better job. Being an editor myself, I noticed a lot of mistakes in spelling, improper use of of plurals, odd caps in the middle of sentences, etc. Didn’t detract from the story, just annoying.

Really like this series

I had to read the 2nd book after reading the first book in the series. I find the characters in this series so captivating I have to know who the abducted ladies end up with. The warrior is Draggar who lost his mate to the virus, however his heart has pumped again for another Marie..she’s hard case and has a potty mouth. I like how Draggar and Marie react to the spirit pull towards each other. So far for what I’ve read from the first and 2nd book, a piece of a puzzle is worked out but another one is found and I like solving puzzles. Downloaded books 3, 4 and 5.

Sexy seducer is right! Smooth talking and all

Marie is my favorite so far! She's hilarious with all the snark and attitude she uses to mask how she's really feeling inside, not to mention how bad ass she is! I thoroughly enjoyed this read from start to finish and definitely look forward to reading the next installment. With all this action and dangerous adventure it's hard to believe they are even able to find these wonderful little moments to make each other laugh and come together in love.

No spoilers of any kind included.
Silver Seducer was a awesome story, and that is all I am going to say about this book because I don’t want to give away any spoilers.
So yes I do recommend this book, actually I recommend the first book in this series as well.
