She's fucking amazing.
Out of all the girlfriends I could have stolen, I'm pretty sure I hijacked the very best.
"I'm gonna teach you how to bake," she informs me.
"That's not necessary."
"Well, it's necessary for me to know how to change a tire, either, but you said you were going to teach me. I have skills to teach, too."
"We are gonna learn from each other, huh?" I murmur, liking the sound of it more than I should.
Autumn nods, squeezing the bag of cherry filling into another cookie. "If you want, you can teach me how to jam a steak knife into some guy's neck, too. You know, just in case."
Enters Autumn, who has a history of dating the wrong men. No family and is stranded on the side of the road. After Christmas shopping for her horrible boyfriend. Jasper stops to help Autumn, and she is too trustworthy. But smart when she realizes something isn’t right. Jasper, in the fly of the moment, decides he needs her for Christmas with his family.
“I am so excited to meet you. I have never met one of Jasper’s girlfriends before. I don’t know what you’ve done to him, but I am thrilled, and I can’t wait to hear all about it.”

Best line - EVER
The hitman stole Christmas was a fast, fun read; the author wrote a swoon-worthy leading man and independent heroine, and I very much enjoyed this book and recommended it for an unusual Christmas book.
