From authors Shanice B. & Shontaiye Moore comes That D Hit Different When He Broke 3, an astonishing, African American Urban Romance filled with page-turning drama, deception, and more gripping romance. The drama never seems to end for Lexi. For her, meeting Meech was one of the best things that has happened to her in a while. Unfortunately, that changes when everyone else’s skeletons come rolling out of the closet causing trouble in paradise for the two. Will Lexi and Meech’s budding relationship last? Or will it come to a screeching halt from the hands and sins of others? Just when Nivea feels like things can’t get any worse, her last bit of sanity is nearly snatched from her. No longer holding on to Kyree, she finds the courage to finally walk away. His actions have forced her to turn her back on Kyree and turn the page to a new chapter in her life. Despite enduring endless pain and suffering, she still decides to open up and be loved again. Malachi is her idea of the perfect man; however, Nivea knows first-hand that there is no such thing as perfect. Like everyone else, Malachi has his own set of issues he’s dealing with. Will Nivea and Malachi be able to get their love connection off the ground? Or are they both too broken to experience true love for the first time?
When I got to the end, I'm like "that's it ?". I'm so greedy when it comes to my books. Lol but I'm happy for the girls. They deserved some happiness. You know I didn't feel sorry for Raven because she brought so much drama to the table and even though BJ was crazy I still felt bad for him. Does that make sense? Anyway it was a great read.
Lord the drama in this book. These authors kept it coming. I felt bead for Raven, then I didn’t. The lies the backstabbing and all out shenanigans that happens this book was crazy. These authors did a darn good job .
The vibe really wasn't there with this book for me. I got 45% and I had to stop reading for a minute. The more I read up unto that part felt like it should have been added with the ending of book two. I did pick my Kindle up and finished the book still. Sorry for Raven and Lexi and Nivea finally got done with the bs men in there life. This book was more about Meech and Malachi at least that what I got from this book.
I'm so happy that Lexi and Nivea found out there true family connection. Meech started out with ulterior motives but Lexi made him fall hard. Nivea's ex kyree was crazy didn't want her, but didn't want no one else to have her. Glad Malachi was a strong man and didn't let greed and jealousy stop him from beginning happy. I love how meech and Malachi was amazing father's fighting for their daughters. Job well done ladies definitely a 💫💫💫💫💫 read.💖💖💖💖💖💖💗
So Kyree and Andre. Y'all wanna have y'all cake and be able to eat it too? Y'all out there being hoes. Got ya baby mama's having to lay hands on these side bishes. Then when they find somebody better - y'all wanna say you gonna do better? Man get ya broke a$$ the f@ck on somewhere.
I like how this story gave vibes of reality . The characters lives didn’t seem far fetched nor did the decisions they made and the outcome. Great job!!!!
Boy the girls left off finding out they were actually sister's instead of cousin's, Their dad was cheating with one of their friends. Raven was a cheater that was just as bad as the men. Lexi mom finally left the dad. Niv finally was able to leave Kyree alone and his silly behind couldn't leave well enough alone. I loved the fact that Meech put on his grown man pants and saved his daughter came clean to Lexi, changed his whole way of living and loving himself, his daughter, and forgiving his self for not being able to save Raven. I really wanted Lexi and Nivea's mom to come together and forgive one another because they were both wrong but the girls dad was still wrong. He should've been man enough to say NO! Karen let jealousy and envy destroy a sister relationship they could've had. At least the girls grew up together as cousins and their love for each other was real and only intensified after they found out they were sister's. I was really glad to meet Malachi he also was just a good dude, caring, loving, finally seeing Tammie for who she was and how she wasn't a true mother, lover, or mate. I pray Malachi and Niv can grow together, and help each other's with their children. I loved this part because of growth with the girls, growth with Lexi mom, growth if it's real with Niv mom. Thanks Ladies. Until next time
Raven really got herself caught up with the decisions she made. BJ could've easily walked away but ultimately made the choice that altered everyone's life. Julisa was ignorant and Pee was just stupid. Lexi and Nivea deserved the truth years ago and Travis should've been gotten his act together if he truly loved Kiesha like he claimed. Meech had me worried for a while but I'm glad Lexi was able to not only help him but also made him think of the possibilities if he went about things differently. Kyree was blowing me. He had an excuse for everything and still thought he'd continue to have Nivea. Nivea and Malachi fit well and although they had some roadblocks they were great together. Tammi was a whole dummy and should've been more responsible and appreciative. I can't lie because I thought for sure the flour was something else and Malachi was gonna have to hurt Tammi. Although I would've liked for it to be longer, Lexi and Nivea were able to find happiness after all they'd been through.
This finale was an awesome way to end this series. I was glad Meech didn't hold anything against Lexi. Thank God for Jason to keep him on the straight and narrow. Pee really ain't ish. He still was dealing with Julisa stupid self. Kyree gatta to be the dumbest fool talking bout being a family when he locked up for the dumb ish he did. I would never understand why people stay together because of kids. If anything, its scarring them because all they see is toxicity and negativity. When you find the one, you just know. After all the heartbreak and pain past relationships brought them, both Lexi and Nivea finally found themselves partnered with good men. Awesome read
I loved this series. Tammie was a straight up mess. All she thought about was the streets and partying. Didn't even want to be a mother to her child. Women complain about good men and when they find them some use and dog them out like some men to women. Her and Julisa are two peas in a pod, both unfit mothers. BJ had no right to do that to Raven but sometimes people snap, who wants to be used and cheated on when all they've done is support and love you. I'm so happy for Nivea and Lexi. They finally found men who truly love them for them. Meech and Malachi are good dudes.💟💟
Yes I loved this whole series. I know Raven was a whole mess but didn’t deserve what she got BJ was a coward for sure. Lexi went through it too with all that news she found out about about daddy dearest. Karen and Keisha never got alone with each other. Meech was good with Lexi but his baby mama was just old cold she didn’t care. Overall this is a must read....
A great conclusion to a great series! Even though I didn't like Raven, I was sorry that she went out the way she did. In all I'm satisfied with the outcomes for all of the characters , but kind if sad to see them go. That in itself is a true testament for how captivating the characters these authors have created are. Great job ladies!
I'm glad that things turned out good for Lexi and Meech. BJ and Kyree both got what they deserved. Nevea and Malachi seems to be headed in the right direction. Good Job!!
Just can't come back from..Dre,eb,Tammi, and julisa all had situations they couldn't come back from.. then Kyree he didn't miss his until it was no coming back. And Daddy....Raven....sadd
I'm so glad that everything worked out for the ladies. I hated that Raven lost her life the way she did. I'm just glad that Meech didn't hold it against Lexi because of what her mom did.
A great ending ladies. I enjoyed all the drama, secrets, and lies. These authors really did a great job with this series. I can't wait to see what each of them bring next.
Bitter baby mama's and a trifling baby daddy makes for a great read. The characters in this book was a whole mess. From being PHILANDERING women to being behind bars baby daddy I'm glad lexi and nivea came to they senses
This was yet again a wonderful read. I feel so bad for Raven, but I DID NOT EXPECT that with Nivea and Lexi that was crazy.. Y’all keep having secrets up ya sleeves!!! Keep up the good work!! 💪🏾
Boy this book was ghetto as heck! I gave it 3 stars because the book did flow good, however the storyline just didn’t do it for me. I thought I was reading the Love and Hip Hop script.
Great book so glad that they got a had a happy ending. Nivea & Lexi had a so many bum guys in their life it was exhausting. Glad Dre got what he deserved and Kierre too. I was here for all the drama.

The book was good, but I hate reading books about dumb women. They constantly bend over backwards for a guy. It was a good I’m glad each girl got a happy ending.
I absolutely loved reading this series. I don't want it to end. I couldn't get enough. I give this book a thousand stars. I definitely suggest this book to others.
