OMG! This was everything I had hoped for, and more! All the stars!!!! Forbidden Wolf is the first book in The Shadow Chronicles by C.R Robertson. I love C.R Robertson’s work- so I really couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. When it landed on my Kindle, I put aside the other book I had been reading and jumped right in. To say I loved it is an understatement. If I could give t more than 5 stars I would! I was torn between devouring every word and savouring every word by pacing myself and drawing out the experience. But the story, and characters, were just so good they pulled me into their world, keeping me glued to the pages- and all I could do was hold on tight for an unforgettable ride. As with her other work that I have read, this has a captivating storyline and fantastic characters. This is another masterfully crafted paranormal romance, with a complex, multi-layered, and addictive storyline. The story is action-packed, with drama, danger, hidden agendas, secrets, paranormal beings, war, violence, adventure, sizzling encounters, fated mates, and high stakes. I loved Ms. Robertson’s original take on Vampire and Lycan lore, she held me spellbound, devouring her story in one sitting. Fate played a hand in bringing Levi and Tasha together, Levi being a werewolf and Tasha being a vampire, they are sworn enemies- as vampires and Lycans have been at war for what seems like forever. They shouldn’t be drawn to each other. But fate, and their combustible chemistry have other ideas. The war threatens to rip them apart, and dangers stalks, threatening to destroy everything. Maybe the only way to survive is to work together. But Ms. Robertson doesn’t make things easy, they will be tested on every level- and what ensues makes for a completely riveting read! #mustread I really can’t wait to get my hands on the second book, I need it STAT! Happy Reading!
Every book Amazon gives you for free is utter chaos. The way I just felt so confused and baffled lol. Like I wanted a lil smut before I read another fantasy but… lordy. The fmc Tasha she opens up giving us an info dump about vampires and how her mom/dad both research on lycans & werewolves. Okay sure, however the writing is so.. idk.
Keep it mind this is a 20-21 year old yet she acts like a child. “Rolls her eyes like how her mom would” or her one minute feeling the mmc — Levi and then the next saying she’d never trust being near him. TO THENNNNN say he’s cared more for her within HOURS compared to her parents. Which is kinda where I’m at a loss because she said her dad has to ration for his other daughter. So clearly they’re struggling. She rather appreciate this random man who BIT her and has her on the death bed cause he wanted to help someone he bite??
And yes, I’ve read fast romance and shifter smut but like neither of them say anything about it. Only thing we get it Levi randomly calling her sweetheart and doing the “pls be my first” scenario. Because she had to let us know she’s a virgin and wants to have her first kiss with him before she dies. And DONT get me started on the overuse of similes only from a 8% stand point.
“Freedom called to me like a seductress tempting me to sin.” ???? That’s a choice.
“It washed over me like smooth chocolate on my tongue.”
“Fire burned through my veins like molten lava flowing in streams….”

This is the story of Tasha and Levi, Tasha is a vampire with special gifts which she has to hide from her coven, she doesn’t have much affection from her parents, but she adores her little sister and now that Tasha is nearing twenty one years old, after her next birthday she will be conscripted into the vampire army, but she always feels trapped by her coven and the secrets she has to keep, so every night she goes into the forest around her to be free and be herself while nobody is watching. When she does this she can use her gift to sense the world around her and connect with the souls residing within it and her main goal is to find an elusive balck jaguar which has been seen around the base. Levi is a werewolf with a distinctive black pelt, he is a loner and prefers to spend his time in the forest learning about what resides within it when he isn’t hunting to prepare for when he joins with others in a military unit, but this one day both Tasha and Levi run into each other on the boundaries of their respective lands when she believes he is the black jaguar and sensing what the other is, they bite each other in an attack first and ask questions later way that their kinds have been trained to do during the war between their races and afterwards, fully expecting that they will die within a few hours from the poisons contained within each.
As they stand and argues over who bit who first and why, as well as what they are going to do now, so as the poisons flow through their systems, they introduce themselves to each other and although neither wants to be with the other as they die, Levi mentions a cave nearby where they can spend their last few hours together and talk. When they get there and they sit with each other, neither of them can deny a certain attraction fizzling between them, Tasha hasn’t felt like this towards anyone else in her coven and she is both scared and excited by it, but she also feels strangely safe with him, Levi is just as confused at his feelings about Tasha and when they share a kiss as they lay dying on the cave floor, the unfairness of the situation really takes hold, especially when Tasha has a last course of bloodlust, she can’t resists biting Levi and tasting his blood one last time. However, as they bite into each other something happens and they start to heal and recover and one thing leads to another and they are kissing again while still mystified at what has happened until the sun rises and Levi shifts into his wolf form to protect Tasha from the deadly rays, but as night falls they reemerge from the cave and walk back to the boundaries discussing their surroundings on the way.
What should have been a death warrant, was something they couldn’t resist as they agree to meet again the next night and many nights after that, however, as their time together comes to an end they agree to meet again once their conscription ends, however, the war isn’t all it is slated as and the future becomes more uncertain for them every day they are fighting, especially when a new enemy comes to the fore, but will they be able to keep their love a secret and stay alive long enough to allow their plans to come to fruition, or will fate intervene and rip them apart? This is an action packed forbidden paranormal romance with plenty of action thrown in for good measure which will keep you hooked until the end.
Intricate complexity. This is the first book I have read by the talented C.R. Robertson, and I feel it was the perfect series for me personally to be introduced to her work. Forbidden Wolf is the first book in the Shadow Chronicles series. It is a supernatural retelling of Romeo and Juliet to a degree. Told primarily from Tasha’s perspective we are given glimpses of Levi’s letting the reader know he feels the same as her. Vampire Tasha is about to turn twenty-one, the age for conscription into the army, to fight in a war she doesn’t believe in. Lycan Levi is also twenty-one and about to join his species army for the war when during their last summer everything changes. Tasha was never like the other girls her age; boys never really caught her attention, but she was prepared for the next twenty years to carry out her duty to her coven and species. Twenty years being mandatory service time in the army and breeding programs before being allowed to follow your own specialties or to be free. Levi is different from the others in his pack. He has black fur and mentions that the color of your wolf is tied to your abilities, he is often left alone. One fateful night changes everything either of them had been raised to believe. Thinking the bite of the other would kill them Tasha and Levi indulge in conversation with the enemy, but after talking and he protects her from the sun she is conflicted and questioning everything she had ever been told. Levi was stunned by the creature that is Tasha, he had been raised believing vampires were savage monsters and yet she was the gentlest, most caring thing he had ever seen. A plan for twenty years when their mandatory conscription is over, they will meet in Paris under the Eiffel Tower and once again just be lovers having a reunion. Time jumps accord five years and then ten. Ten years later Tasha and Levi are reunited on the battlefield. Both species are being savagely slaughtered by something new. Ten years have passed, do they still feel the same for each other? Can Levi and Tasha succeed in finding out what is killing everyone they know? Will they rekindle what they had that summer in the forest? The world the author describes not only conjures the images in your mind but sometimes the smells. The characters leave nothing and everything on the table, their complexity not only personally but how they interact and react to the same situations is relatable and understandable. Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down and now I cannot wait to begin book two, Forbidden Mate, to see what happens next for Tasha and Levi and how they confront what’s coming next.
Forbidden Wolf is Part 1 in The Shadow Chronicles by CR Robertson. In all honesty I never thought that I would enjoy a book about vampires, but I found that I was unable to put this book down. I was so enthralled by this book that I had it read from cover to cover within a 24-hour period. Not much else got accomplished until I was through reading this book.
Tasha, a Vampire, and Levi, a Lycan, are from two different worlds. The Lycans and the Vampires had been mortal enemies for hundreds of years and were ordered to kill one another upon sight. A chance encounter between Tasha and Levi leads to a tumultuous love affair that they must closely guard, or risk being put to death. Their love is one that can never be, but they vow to somehow make it work. When they are old enough to be sent to war, they are separated but vow that they will again be together. The bond that they forge is unbreakable and they go to great lengths to be together regardless of how many miles have separated them and how many years they have been apart. When they discover a common enemy that is killing both Vampires and Lycans their clans form an allegiance for each to save their clans. Tasha, and Levi are finally able to be together, however, their relationship is one that the Coven leader, is disgusted by and he wants both Levi and Tasha killed. The coven leader is a man that is so cruel you instantly loathe him and want to jump into the pages of the book to protect Tasha from his evil wrath.
Forbidden Wolf was very professionally written, and I found myself completely drawn into the lives of both Tasha and Levi. I found myself rooting for the characters to be together and kept reading to see if Tasha and Levi would get their happily ever after. Forbidden Wolf kept me hooked from the first page and I was not disappointed throughout. This book is a must read! I cannot wait to read the remaining books in this series!
Forbidden Wolf (The Shadow Chronicles Book 1) by CR Robertson 4 Stars
I really enjoyed this book because of the fact that the story was original. As this is the first book in the series, I foresee it being quite interesting. It has the usual lycan and vampire rivalry but it was so much more. This book reminded me of the movie Underworld with the vampires being soldiers in a mindless war against the lycans. All her life, Tasha just wanted to be free. Prowling the rainforest at night, she could finally be herself. One fateful night, she met Levi and she was forever changed. Never in his life did Levi expect to meet someone like Tasha. They had one blissful summer together before both had to join the army. If anyone found out about them, it would be a certain death sentence.
A book filled with secrets and lies, action and drama. The author builds a solid foundation for the rest of the series. I loved the main characters and absolutely hated the bad guys which proves what a good writer Ms. Robertson is. There were moments when I found the book a little long but it’s worth pushing through. At one point Tasha did frustrate me, I’ll be honest. Levi literally changed the world fir her and she still wasn’t sure how he felt about her. Come on, wake up Tasha! I’m very excited to find a new series. I can’t wait to read the next part.
This is a new author to me but being an open-minded reader, I love finding new authors whose work is so captivating that I devour each novel put out. This was one book that I was unable to put down. The author does an amazing job of character development as well as her telling of the story was brilliant. Some characters you’ll love and some you’ll absolutely despise but that’s what makes this an amazing book. Levi and Tasha come across each other in the forest both bite each other which inexplicably intertwines their futures. Both believing they are going to die after being fed tales since birth. When they don’t die, and Levi shields Tasha from dying the nature of their relationship changes and they can’t keep away. It is the tale of a sweet summer romance before heading off to battle each other because vampires and Lycans are sworn enemies, or are they? The bond formed keeps them aware of what the other is feeling even after years of fighting in a war they do not understand, until an unknown enemy attack both sides without prejudice. Can they force the sides to come together to battle this new threat? Or will the age-old battle bring about the demise of both sides? I cannot recommend reading this book enough, it is absolutely unforgettable.
I was skeptical at first but I’m glad I took the leap and read this book. I loved it! How two supernatural societies, that were mortal enemies, evolved into a truce for the greater good for both groups showed great growth throughout. Tasha, a vampire, who has never felt like she belonged. Levi, a lycan, has always been a loner due to his black fur pattern, which has always been viewed as out of control. Mortal enemies that came together not only to fight a common enemy but as mates. Tasha and Levi met the summer before they were meant to go into their respective armies, to learn to fight one another. A drop from a tree and two bites later, they thought they killed one another. That never happened; they both survived, creating a bond that summer that could never be broken. 20 years was the service time they both needed to serve, after that they promised one another they would meet each other in Paris. Come 10 years later a new enemy has emerged which forges them to cross paths once again. Never forgetting their connection they join together to find out what is killing both of their species faster than anything ever has. The growth and love between these two characters is exponential in itself and makes me look forward to continuing their story in book two!
Ummm HECK YES! This was my first CR Robertson book and honestly my first experience with an almost otherworldly vamp/wolf/something else dark and unknown (but in reality very well known) combo, so I was excited to see how it went. I have to say I am truly left with a gnawing need to know what happens next! Forbidden Wolf is a fantastic weaving of Lycan/vamp lore, action, romance, mystery, and has a slight dystopian feel. Where life is dangerous, unknown, more darkness than light, more obstacle than opportunity but mixed in with an absolutely beautiful love that goes beyond words and sex to something eternal. The steam is amazing, the characters are 3D and full of life, and the world is stunning and devastating at the same time. It has more angst than I normally read, but I am totally down for this type of push and pull, especially when Levi’s wolf gets involved! Something in me is drawn to his absolute certainty and claiming of Tasha, it’s the kind of devotion human women are drawn to…darned wolves and vamps get all the animalistic mating intensity. I will definitely be reading Part 2 and have found a new author to follow, watch, read! Pippa
The last summer before Tasha would have to join the war between Vampires and Lycans, she fell for a lycan. Quite literally I might add. Thinking she found a black panther that was said to be in the forest, she pounced on it. Turns out it was a black wolf, a lycan named Levi. They bit each other and that was the start of something forbidden. The bite of a vampire was supposed to kill a lycan and vice versa.
The duo decide to find a cave and live out their last night together since neither of them thought they could make it home. It turns out they lived but something happened that night. They liked each other and wanted to explore that. They had a summer of romance before the 2 of them were shipped off to fight each other on the field.
The book then shows what either of their lives look like throughout the years.
Ten years later, they find each other again. Not under good circumstances. For years they have been fighting each other's races but it turns out there has been a 3rd one for god knows how long exterminating either side. The couple realise that in order to fight this 3rd enemy, the vampires and lycans will have to put their differences aside and work together.
This is the first book in The Shadow Chronicles and follows the story of Tasha and Levi. It is a vampire and Lycan forbidden love story. The book from the beginning sucked me in and I couldn't put it down. I have read plenty Lycan/Vampire forbidden love, but this book was insanely different and nothing like I have read before.
There are a few steamy scenes, lots of suspense and action, and includes hidden agendas, drama, and of course magic!
Tasha is a young vampire with unique abilities unlike anyone else in her species. She is trying to protect her younger sister from their leader and is willing to sacrifice everything, that is, until she met Levi.
The book is told mainly from Tasha's POV, but there are a few chapters where we get to be inside Levi's mind and see how he feels about Tasha.
So much time has passed since they first seen each other. Will the feel the same after ten years? Will they succeed in find out what is killing every person they know? Will they meet in Paris? Will they end the war between their species?
Love, Love, Love this book and cannot wait to run and read book 2!
Forbidden Wolf (The Shadow Chronicles Book 1) by CR Robertson is a great vampire/wolf experience.
Levi and Tasha must continue to be sworn enemies in order to survive—one is a lycan and the other is a vampire. However, one night causes things to change, and the two begin dating. Either should be caught in a relationship that could result in execution. Their warring species will never accept their love because it is fed by hatred and stoked by territorial disputes. However, as Levi and Tasha prepare to flee, a fresh threat materializes and puts both of their worlds at risk. The two quickly realize their own secret might be the key to their species' survival when they learn why their species has actually been kept apart all these years. But if the wrong people find out about their devotion, they can find themselves dead before they have a chance.
Every page was exciting and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. It is a unique vampire series. The story really brings excitement into your life. I couldn’t put the book down. As the story progressed, it made me glad I got the second one to get started on it right away.
This started off as a wonderfully romantic story. These two can not be together but they found a forbidden love. Kinda Romeo and Juliet style. Then this story takes a weird turn. A third party shows up and wants Tasha. This part just threw me for a loop. I really couldn't figure out where this was going. Not sure I am a huge fan of this part. It took the story from paranormal to almost sci-fi. But it certainly is full of action, drama and some great smexy scenes. At times I didnt care for Tasha. For a vamp she is not too confident in her man. I mean he is changing the world…so at times he is a busy beaver…I mean wolf. By the end I was really rooting for her to be strong and him to not lose her.
The secondary characters..well I either loved or hated them. I did enjoy Radar and the relationship he has with Levi. As well as I wonder what that Donovan is all about. I bet he comes out to play more fully in future books.
Overall is it a different kind of paranormal. Full of characters that really get under my skin. I couldn't help but wish them the best by the end.
s a fan of Stephanie Meyers’ Twilight series, I was thrilled that this series involved both the Lycans and vampires. The characters of Tasha and Levi are well-developed, and their story is truly one for the ages.
Tasha is a twenty-year-old vampire that is waiting to be enlisted in the vampire army in September. Staying at the coven shelter before joining the army is hard for Tasha as she is a free spirit. She enjoys escaping from the vampire base to enjoy her nights in the jungle. She loves exploring the jungle alone.
Levi is a twenty-one Lycan, the vampire’s mortal enemy. A chance encounter in the forest between Tasha and Levi leads to a summer fling, but it’s so much more than that. They are connected in a much deeper meaning.
Through the next ten years, both participate in the war between the vampires and the Lycans. Suddenly though there’s a new enemy out there. One that wants to decimate both the vampire and Lycan species. Will the vampires and Lycans make a truce to fight this new common enemy?
This is the first book in C.R. Robertson's series, Shadow Chronicles and it is sure to find new fans and please long-standing readers. "Forbidden Wolf" is a paranormal tale which puts a creative twist on the familiar tale of rivals becoming infatuated and falling in-love. C. R. Robertson creatively spins a tale of passion and suspense into this supernatural fiction where such a relationship between lycan and vampire is forbidden. To chase after this love means possible death and that is a risk Levi and Tasha willingly take-on when they decide in pursuit of their romance. Risking possible execution, both of the former rivals leave the comfort of their separate worlds and embark upon a new life together. This life filled with their love is also one of danger and pursuit. What will happen to them? Will anyone help them? Who would help them? Where could they go to find safe refuge when they are rejected by both their worlds and by the human world? This is certain to be a page turner and to lead to reading the next edition in the series, "Forbidden Mate (The Shadow Chronicles Book 2)."
In this paranormal war between species, Levi and Tasha have to work together against hate and stereotypes to try to build their relationship. But those aren’t the biggest threat to their forbidden passion.
To be completely honest, I’ve never been a fan of first person writing, or series romances that aren’t stand alone novels. That said, first person occasionally works, and this was one of those times. And this book can certainly stand alone if the reader isn’t interested in reading the next challenge held in store for our couple.
Suffice to say I was certainly drawn into their world and I’m sure most will absolutely want to know what happens next. Vampires, werewolves, and an extra dash of intrigue kept me reading into the wee hours of the morning to find out how Levi and Tasha were going to meet all their challenges and still manage to build a partnership that could last in this evolving paranormal world.
Forbidden Wolf (The Shadow Chronicles Book 1) by CR Robertson - Review by Gail Guerrero
Five stars
I’m excited that I read this book. It gave me Underworld vibes. At first I thought At first I thought Tasha was going to be this ultimate bad girl but she’s a normal adult who isn’t sure of herself. She’s just a vampire that wants to be free. I thought they were going to be teenagers with how the story first flowed but we got some major control issues going on with leadership. The war stupid they didn’t even know why they were fighting. Those creatures were gross the visual the author painting I did not need. I really enjoyed this story though. Tasha became annoying mid book. She has so much potential but it’s like she was unable to believe in herself. She was ready to give up too many times. Levi that man! I wish there was someone out willing to love me as hard as Levi did Tasha. To possess just a little of his affection and devotion. Definitely worth the read .
Oh snap! First things first. That cliffhanger spartan kicked me off the edge leaving me with nothing to grasp. It was baffling and had me feeling all sorts of feelings. I didn't know a steamy scene could do that to me but WOW!!!
The tension between vampires and lycan are no different in this series. But it has a unique enemy that you don't see coming until it drives into you like a Mac truck. It has its own subspecies and different forms of it.
Levi and Tasha in this series are a force to be reckoned with. Each can hold their own independently, but when they are together it's a whole other ball game. Both have pasts that they aren't proud of but they overcome it together. CR did a wonderful job writing this first book. It drew me in from the first word. I saw the book playing out in my mind like a movie. That doesn't happen a lot for me, but this book definitely did it. I will be 100% recommending this book to my friends that love erotica with a good story.
I give Forbidden Wolf (The Shadow Chronicles Book 1) by C.R. Robertson, 5 stars.
I really enjoyed this book. The forbidden vampire/lycan romance has been done before, but this author puts such a fresh and interesting spin on it. Story pulled me in and kept reading until the end. Just when I thought the end was near, the author throws another curveball. I love that in my books. However, what really makes this book for me is the characters. I wasn't sure how I felt about them at first, but as they grow and experience things, they develop into such great characters, multi-faceted and have their flaws too, but big hearts. The secondary characters are also wonderful and I hope to see more of them later in the series-- both the good and bad guys.
If you enjoy paranormal adventure/romance books with great characters, this book is for you. It is the beginning of what promises to be a great series.
Forbidden Wolf (The Shadow Chronicles #1) by CR Robertson
This is the first book I've read by the author. Robertson knows how to draw readers in and keep them interested. A page turner for sure.
Tasha is a vampire and has always been told that Lycans are bad people. When she meets a black wolf things change. Young and in love is what she is. Twenty years is what they promised, but can they make it? The quote I chose for Tasha is: “We all have to join the army the September after our twenty-first birthday. I don’t want to but there is no other choice.”
Levi was minding his business until a sexy vampire took him down. The bite she left him caused more to happen. Fated mates. He's heard of them and now his wolf will do nothing but get to her. The quote I chose for Levi is: “You need to back the f*** up. I don’t know who you are or who you think we are, but we’re leaving.”
*Howls into the moonlight. * This is exactly what I have been looking for to fill my time. Not only does this novel have a dystopian vibe to it, but it has your supernatural, romantic, forbidden love aspects all tied into one lovely package. I honestly didn’t want to put it down, and I’m so excited to embark on the next two installments, very happy that I waited until there was more than the first to start embarking on this adventure.
The authors writing style, her ability to draw you into the dark woods and fall for both the main characters, is astounding. The introduction of other characters and enemies is flawless, and you really bond with Tasha and Levi right from the start. The development of these characters and their fight to stay together and continue to understand each other as they change/mature, fight for what they believe in is heart-warming. I have recommended this series to others, and please excuse me while I dive deep into the next. Must read!
Ooo! I really liked this one! This one isn't my first book by this author but it was definitely my favorite!! I was sucked in from page one and devoured this paranormal story! Levi & Tasha are the main charcters and they couldn't be more different. Levi is a Wolf Shifter & Tasha is a Vampire. This is a case of opposites attract and man so they have chemistry! Such a shame that they'll be put death if anyone finds out If they're having any kind of relationship between them. Truth is brought to the surface and survival might just depended on their "forbidden" relationship. Ugh I couldn't get enough of this one and I am so glad I picked it up. I cannot wait until I can get my hands on more by this author! I would definitely recommend this to anyone that loves Paranormal romances! Happy Reading!
Where to even start with Forbidden Wolf? What a fantastic novel! Tasha, a lonely vampire, meets Levi, a strong, powerful lycan, by accident one night. What starts as a chance encounter quickly escalates into a forbidden love as the lycans and vampires are sworn enemies. Keeping their love a secret grows increasingly hard as they fall more and more for one another. But their love could be the death of them if either Levi's pack or Tasha's coven finds out. When a common enemy threatens both sides, Tasha and Levi may hold the only key to survival.
This story is amazing! Beautifully written, I was rooting for Levi and Tasha from the first time they met--their relationship, the undeniable pull they feel for each other, their stolen moments together. The evil this face is creepy, dark, twisted, and unique. C.R. Robertson knows how to write! I am really looking forward to the second novel to see how it all plays out.
This is a great paranormal story. It contains my favourite things vampires and werewolves and romance. The author does an amazing job with the characters. From their first meeting you get caught up in the connection between Tasha and Levi. Their connection is hot and passionate and the fact that it's forbidden makes their feelings even stronger. How can something that feels so right be so wrong? Their story has love and heartbreak when their summer ends and Levi and Tasha have to part and fight for their own species against each other. You can feel the turmoil and the heartache this causes them both. Can their love survive? Is their love the trigger needed to reunite their species after all the years of war or will they be punished for a love they feel is right. I was gripped from beginning to end and I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series.
I want to start off by saying this book was not the normal type of book I would have picked up and read. And it was amazing, think supernatural cross with underworld with a little passion on the side. I enjoyed it so much that it made my day reading it, I was even reading it while cooking. I had been in a rut with my reading and wasn’t able to find anything to enjoy, this book made me fall back into read. the story captivated me right from the moment I started reading about Levi and Tasha, who were forbidden to even talk to each other due to the nature that wolfs, and vampires don’t mix, but created a passion that no one could stop them. The passion that Robertson had made with the two main characters was one reason I just couldn’t put it down. I will say I will be on the lookout for the rest of the books to this fantastic series.
Forbidden Wolf (The Shadow Chronicles Book 1) by CR Robertson. This is a really great vampire/paranormal story. Its the story of Levi who is a wolf shifter and Tasha who is a vampire. The vampires and shifters have always been major enemies but you can't help who you fall in love with. If anyone finds out they could be punished by death! After they spent an entire summer together falling madly in love they have to go join the army and fight for their families. This war has gone on for so long no one really knows why they are fighting anymore but Levi and Tasha know they will be punished with Death if their relationship is found out. But on the other hand their union could help keep their species going. Will their relationship be found out or will they have to split up. This was such a fast paced read with surprises at every turn. It will keep you reading late into the night!
