Which two things are dark, bitter, and satisfying? Chocolate...and murder.
Charlotte Mission is no longer a spy-in-hiding. After a recent brush with the "underground", Charlie’s happy to be back at the Gossip Inn, serving as the assistant to her retired spy grandmother. This time, however, she’s got her sights set on capturing her ex-husband. Kyle Turner has arrived in Gossip seeking revenge, and if Charlotte doesn’t stop him, there’s no telling how many people will suffer.
But everything’s under control. Charlie and Gamma are in position, and the agency is sure to step in before things get wild. That is until one of the assistants in the kitten foster center is murdered, sending the Texas small town into a blind panic. Can Charlie and Gamma solve the case and stop Kyle before they pay the ultimate price?

I really liked this whole series, if you want a sweet, clean and fun series definitely check it out! I especially loved Charlotte's grandmother, she was the best!
Another fun, entertaining and exciting Mission Inn-possible adventure!!!
Charlie, Charlotte Smith, a spy-in-hiding, still hiding out at Gossip Inn, Texas with NSIB watching her every move; they are trying to keep her safe while using her as a bait to lure her ex-husband, Kyle Turner, a double agent who was exposed by Charlie, to come and get his revenge on her so they can finally capture him.
After coop up at the Inn without a peep outside for months, Charlie and Gamma, Charlie's Super Spunky Smarty Spy grandmother cook up Operation Burger but it does not go as plan. The Operation Burger is a hilarious and make me laugh out loud imagining 2 naughty girls trying to break the rule.
There are many cute cats, Cocoa Puff, Sunlight and more cats in the book, I love cozy mysteries with cats or dogs so this book is really hit all my favorite points, it provides something for everyone with mystery, suspense, some romance, and cupcakes especially chocolate cupcakes - yummy.
Beside dealing with difficult guests at the inn, keep an eye on her ex-husband's eventual arrival, Charlie has to deal with the murder of Jordan Ames, one of the carer for the cats at the kitten foster center, who would want to kill the nice quiet guy. Charlie, Gamma and Brian, Charlie's handsome agent-posing-as-a-gardener boyfriend, need to solve the murder and getting ready for Kyle before it's too late.
This the first book in the series and the first book by Rosie A. Point that I read so I will need to go back and read it from book 1. It is fun, fast, and exciting cozy mystery with lots of twists and turns and keep me guessing who is the murderer.

Charlotte (Charlie Mission) Smith is a spy hiding from her dangerous ex-husband, Kyle Turner, a rogue spy double agent who swore revenge on her. She has been living at the Gossip Inn B&B owned by her Gamma Georgina, who happens to be a retired spy but is still as sharp as ever.
When Charlie discovers the body of Jordan Ames, an assistant in the kitten foster center, hanging from a rope tied to the rafters in the secret attic, it’s time to step up their game and stop this before someone else is murdered. But who killed him and how did the killer get into the Inn with the National Security Investigative Bureau watching every move? Can Charlie, Gamma and Brian (special agent from the NSIB and Charlie’s boyfriend) stop Kyle before he claims his revenge on all of them?
I love this particular series and will miss it. The characters are just so flamboyant and talented. I hope the author will come back occasionally and re-visit this series so we can see what they are all up to. Of course, that assumes they get Kyle – so grab your copy and find out his fate!
We finally get to the rogue ex-husband spy story. Really, once again we find out about another hidden place this 'the most decorated agent in the NSIB history' doesn't know about on her own property. Maybe Charlie really should re-access her grandmother abilities. They could be just declining. And lets keep Brian in the dark about what the two of you are up. And Charlie might have been the top in her class, maybe book smart but not street-smarts.
Big problems with this book: When there is a murder at the Inn, shocking I know, all the NSIB agents leave. What none of them could have pretended to be guests? When Brian can't get in touch with his boss he just 'worries' about it and doesn't try to get in touch with someone else in the agency? When it is known that the ex is there lets just leave Brian behind, knowing full well the ex has help with him?
This series just seemed to collapse in the end with moves that really didn't make much sense for seasoned agents. Oh well, at least there were cats.
This is such a fun series, and this book doesn't disappoint! It is well-written and has a really great storyline. Charlie and Brian are on the home stretch when Kyle is seeking revenge and is making those who are close to Charlie suffer. It is time for Charlie to take control and settle this once and for all. That is exactly what she does and does a fantastic job at it. Charlie discovers Jordan Ames, assistant in the kitten foster center, murdered. But who killed him and how did they get into the Inn? Join Charlie, Gamma and Brian as they work to stop Kyle before they all get killed.
Highly recommend the whole series! I hate to see this series end! This was a great cozy mystery filled with all the things I love...great characters, great storyline, and great family/friendships.

Charlie and Gammy face off with Charlie's ex Kyle, as well as the NSIB agents allegedly in Mission to protect them
Smulder and Charlie seem to have hit a rough patch after Charlie chose to return to Mission. It seems fairly clear that if Charlie survives the drama with her traitor ex, she has found a home in Mission Texas, and Charlie may be contemplating leaving spy life behind
Kyle is taunting, egotistical and lethally dangerous. The lives and loyalties of friends and neighbors are in danger and in question as it seems likely more than one traitor is around
Action, drama and humor packed showdown

this is the satisfying finale to a cute and cozy series! Charlie is on a mission to (finally) catch her rogue double-agent-spy and ex-husband, Kyle, so she can end her life hiding inside the Gossip Inn and start to live a real life again. she’s also trying to find out (along with her grandmother, Georgina, and fellow spy-in-hiding/boyfriend, Brian) who is behind the death of Jordan, one of the kitten foster center’s caretakers.
with plenty of sweet treats, cute cats, and laugh-out-loud hijinks, this installment kept me engaged and entertained with its fast pace and suspenseful plot! i enjoyed this series as a whole, the characters especially, and recommend reading them in order for the best reading experience! 🎧☺️🐈🧁🍰👀
Charlie, Gamma and Brian were getting ready not just for guests but for the rogue spy known as Kyle Turner or Charlie's ex-husband who was out to kill her. Charlie wasn't letting that happen if she had to take him out personally. Wow, this was an awesome last in series with lots of great suspense, wondering who to trust and finally ending maybe not quite the showdown Charlie had expected, but the results were the same.
It was a little bittersweet too, because this book means the end of this particular series. But Gamma and Charlie have a new series coming up. I'm just sad that it doesn't appear to be part of Kindle Unlimited as this one was.
The last of the Mission Inn-possible cozy series ends with a bang as Charlie's past catches up to her. But with Gamma and beau Brian by her side, she is ready to face her ex head on. Those they trusted may not be who they seem making for a sticky situation when the first victim's body disappeared and Kyle finds a way in to leave behind items to taunt her. Either way, it ends one way or another in this last installment. There is hope that one couple's story continues while another meets its demise.

There certainly are a lot of murders in the town of Gossip. It definitely takes away from the storyline that this is supposed to be a quaint small town filled with wonderful people. However, if you can ignore that and read the stories as if they are episodes of mystery sitcom on TV, then it is entertaining enough.
There isn’t much depth to the plot or the characters because it’s just not that kind of series. Each book can be read in a couple hours each. It’s all pretty straightforward with many predictable elements.
What a wonderfully suspenseful ending to this series!
Charlie and Georgina are in rare form in this story. The day we have been waiting for is finally here - Charlie's ex husband Kyle Turner has found where she is hiding and plans to kill her if Charlie and Georgina don't capture him first. They deal with multiple kidnappings, a possible murder and betrayal. This is a must read story!

Charlie is tired of hiding and being basically in 'lock down' for a month at the inn. She and Gamma are going to escape and get a burger from town. But they don't make it and of course, sent back to the inn. But when one of the assistants from the kitten foster center is murdered, this is the last straw for Gamma and Charlie. Charlie is bound and determined to get her ex-husband and stop hiding. But can she do that and solve another murder? I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
A story line with suspense, mystery, intrigue, a bit of humor and of course murder. The characters are fun and enjoyable to get to know as you follow them as they try to solve the mystery of who dun it.
It's well written, entertaining and enjoyable. Fans of cozy mysteries will love it.

Retired spy Georgina Franklin, her granddaughter Charlie, current spy and her associate Brian are trying to catch her ex Kyle, a spy gone rogue, before he kills Charlie, who turned him in. They know he'll appear at the inn, but not when. When another body is found at the inn, the ladies start adding things up and know he's there, now they just have to get him before he gets her. It's a fun short read. I received an ARC gratis and offer my opinion in the same.
Such a great end to a wonderful series! I would recommend that you start with Book 1 to get to know Charlie and her history; it will make reading the series so much better. If you like strong females, action, family and friends, small town, a little romance and great mysteries, then this series is for you!
This series never disappoints. Charlie and gamma are always entertaining. Charlie's ex is on her tail still and she is set to end the whole thing with him and move on with her life.
Great story, well written and always fun.

I really enjoyed reading this book because it was a fun bc and suspenseful read with a bit of humor. It’s an easy read and quite entertaining. I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a mystery and enjoys a light read. Can’t wait to read more of this authors works.
Listened to as part of the Mission Inn-possible boxset, a nice easy listen that will make you chuckle and want to get investigating. This is a great end to a fun series, this has some good twists and it had me screaming as I realised one twists that I never saw coming, the ending felt a little rushed, but overall very nice story.
The author has given us a wonderful end to this series. It leaves us with the outcome we were hoping for but also leaves us wanting to spend more time with our friends. Cannot wait for the next series.

I really enjoyed the final book of the adventures of Charlotte and her grandmother. Sorry to see the series end but happy to know a new series is starting with these two incredible ladies.
Great final book in this series. The series was wrapped up nicely with a great ending to the story. I look forward to more of Charlie & Georgina's adventure in their new series. I will miss one of the characters, maybe we will see that character appear occasionally in the new series.
I really enjoyed this installment. It wraps everything up nicely with just the right amount of action. Also, can’t wait for next part of series. Now invested in the characters living in Gossip.
Charlie and Gamma are determined to find Charlie’s ex-husband Kyle and end his determination to kill her for outing him as a double agent that turned against the NSIB and his country. All sorts of twists and turns in this story. Really loved the storyline.
This book reads like the last in the series with all the mysteries tied up. The main characters continue to develop while new characters are added. There are a number of surprises but it ends satisfactorily.
I listed to the audiobook which brought the story to life.
This was the last of six books. I listened to this series and it was just okay. These books are in the cozy mystery genre and so we are not talking deep writing. The writing in these books is probably at like a 7th grade reading level. Each book in the series had a mystery to solve and a sub plot of the main character trying to hide from an ex husband. The subplot comes to a quick resolution in the sixth book in a manner that felt rushed. Definitely not the best series
