What a sweet friends to lovers story.
These two just needed to communicate and once they did, everything went smoothly. So far this series has been 3 for 3 on the enjoyment front despite each book having different authors.
I still maintain that the journalists needs to get repercussions for her actions.

4.5 stars.
This is my favorite in the series. I love a good second chance, friends to lovers romance. Dante and Jules – aka Danny and Jay – were perfect. There was a little bit of drama, quite a bit of angst, and an amazing friendship that was always going to be a romance even if neither man was aware of that until much later.
The way everything came together was perfect.

I liked Julius and Dante a lot. It was so so obvious They were made for each other. However I felt like this one dragged a little. Just a bit too slow for me.

A beautiful second-chance, best friends-lovers romance!
Finished it in one go.
Book #3 of the Rosavian Royals series focuses on Prince Jay-the responsible and shy middle child who has but one regret in leaving behind his childhood friend and one true love-of-his life-Prince Dante of Thedes, following a unresolved misunderstanding during their university days together, deciding to take the diplomatic route out and placing duty before love. Prince Danny in much the same way, is plagued by the memories of their times together and the mutual love they share for each other.
When they are thrown together owing to obligations for the upcoming ball, the intense and passionate feelings they hold for each other come rampaging through. It was a treat to read the slow burn- the two rekindling their friendship, the easy going bond they share, subtle gestures and looks leading to the moment of confession.
I really liked the author’s writing style, the use of intense, emotive phrases, great imagery to create this amalgam of anticipation, tender and heartwarming moments. I liked how the author portrayed both MCs- both strong men, having their own insecurities and being held back by the burden of their lineage and the need to appear perfect. Though both their families and the entire world kept pushing them together, they wanted their love to be only theirs and something born out of true feelings, not obligations. Also,the detailed descriptions of the Rosavian and Thedian landscapes were such a treat to read. Great penmanship.
Overall, this makes for a perfect second-chance, friends-to lovers romance that will leave you yearning for more

I don't get these two. You've been friends for decades. Neither of you is crown prince and expected to bear heirs. Your moms are best friends since childhood and have been unbearable with the jokes about the two of you ending up together. WHAT'S THE DRAMA?
You both know the other likes you. Honestly if you have a very intense fuck with the closest person in your life as a goodbye after college because you both have to return to your respective kingdoms....it's hard to rationalize it away as a bestie goodbye treat.
While telling yourself he's probably straight(because straight guys fuck each other goodbye).
Almost 8 hours (for people who were born to be together and everyone knows it, including them) to figure it out.
Hours of my life I'll never get back.
Okay. Aside from Dante's father being TOO gung-ho for it. Which, AGAIN, is kinda more of a plus? Economic though his motive may be.
To be fair, I get why Dante was worried Julius might be straight after all. He never said anything about being into him(or guys) before.
Whole time Julius hasn't felt anything for anyone in the 4 years since they parted and Dante has been painting depictions of his homeland covered in Julius' kingdom colors.

Beautifully done!! Julius and Dante, two young princes, best friends since birth, have always had family joke with them that they were destined to be married, forever together. After a misunderstood incident at the end of their final year in school together forces an uncomfortable silence of four years, they are unexpectedly together again at an art show for both countries.
Despite the unplanned yet welcomed surprise, Julius and Dante find the missing parts of themselves that were empty over the last four years. It was beautiful to see their sweet, sweet friendship reignited and blossom into the best kind of relationship, despite interfering family members and annoying reporters. This was a wonderful second chance/reunion and these two Princes are so perfect together.
I don’t believe I’ve ever read Zoe Dawn before but her writing is wonderful and I’ll definitely be reading more from her.

Throne Together was simply perfect. Two princes that were destined to be together, and I appreciated the way the author showed the development of their connection, from childhood best friends up until the present day attempt of mending past mistakes and broken hearts.
I loved Julius and Dante, their meddling family and friends, and the picturesque backdrops of Rosavia. The story wasn't too angsty, and with lots of humorous and passionate filled moments that were the icing on the sweet second chance romance.
Recommended.

A wonderful second chance romance between best friends to almost strangers to lovers! This is all about Prince Julius of Rosavia, the third prince, and Prince Dante of Thedes trying to navigate their feelings for each other after being apart for 4 years. I loved getting to be inside Jules head while he worked out how he actually felt while Dante already knew his feelings. And the bracelets, maze scene and epilogue were just so perfect.
This was my first Zoe Dawn book but it will not be my last! I enjoyed her writing and the way she told Julies and Dante’s story.

such a fun series.. 5 brothers.. 5 authors.. 5 different stories that dont technically need to be read in order but i highly recommend it because they are wonderful and so much fun. this one is about friends to lovers... about two guys who love and laugh.. who need each other more then air.. about a connection..it is wonderful and i cant wait for the 4th one.

The overall story was very sweet, especially once they finally opened their mouths and vocalized their feelings and their misunderstandings of the years past. Although that's also when the puns became a little too ridiculous for me and took the humor down a notch. With a bit of conniving meddling from certain royals and a whole lot of nastiness from Rosavia's favorite reporter, their journey back together was a little more rocky than they expected, but when they found the courage to be honest with not only one another, but with the royals that had their best interests at heart, everything slotted together as it was always meant to be.
I do wish there hadn't been so much of the waffling back and forth and the extremely repetitive thoughts of "he must know, how can he not know? I suppose it's best to not say anything and just show him." I mean, if it didn't work in the past, why would it work now? Communication, people, would have solved a whole lot of issues. But then the story would be shorter...though I can't say that would be a bad thing, in my opinion.

3.5 stars. A light hearted romance featuring 2 princes and a scorching slow burn build up. Dante and Jules were likable, distinct characters that fit in perfectly with the rosy kingdom of Rosavia. Very little drama, but a perfect read for a busy week.

Oh wow this was simply beautiful. Heart meltingly fluffy and just such a feel good book. The story of Prince Julius and Prince Dante really tugged at my heart strings. Mutual pinning is my favourite and in this book the mutual pinning was completely delicious. Really the sweetest friends to lovers book I’ve read in a while. Prince Julius is completely and madly in love with Prince Dante and yet he is in denial. Prince Dante feels the exact same way but is very certain of his feelings. They mutually pine for one another. They dream about each other at night and day dream and fantasise about each other at other times. It’s been four years since that fateful day that two best friends fall into bed together and four years since a dejected Jay (Julius) walks away from his Danny (Dante). They never kept in touch after because both of them were completely oblivious of the other’s feelings and there was a sort of awkwardness between them. Through this entire four years both of them have never been with anyone else because no one else felt right.
When Julius goes to Thedes on business and bumps into Dante, they quickly rekindle their friendship which very quickly turns to love for both of them as that love had always been there and they had just been idiots. I love the moments they spend together in the palace just being their goofy selves. That first day they spent the whole day together walking the streets of Alpina while wearing commoner clothes. My heart turned to fluff especially at the scene where they buy matching bracelets. I love that at some point they exchange their bracelets and the meaning of that to them was so clear. Them both talking a selfie was too adorable and Dante realising that Julius had kept his number after all was such a hopeful moment. When all this time he had convinced himself that Julius hated him. The day spent in Zasfer estate was especially a beautiful time. The moment they realise their feelings for one another was there at Zasfer. I love that in the following days they talked about their feelings and making sure the other was secure in the knowledge. I was so proud of Julius for apologising for leaving.
I have to specially mention this book’s cuddle babies, Kiki And Casper they were such a joy. Kiki the sock thief and Casper the sock guard. Adorable!
The garden maze scene was such a treat. I love that they exchanged their Bracelets. An act of promising themselves to each other in the absence of a ring. When the documentary movie came out and Julius was so heart broken and upset, and Dante was so shattered, I was so relieved that he still trusted Dante. That he knew in his gutt that Dante didn’t have a traitorous bone In him. I was so happy when all was forgiven. My heart hurt that Dante’s dad would do that to him. But Queen Aubrey was such a breath of fresh air. How she just accepted and supported Danny, no questions asked was simply amazing. I loved Queen Caliope and was touched that she would apologise to Dante.
It was so nice when they finally didn’t have to hide their relationship from anyone. The ball was awesome and seeing a contrite and sorry King Rocco had me wanting to forgive him too so I completely understand that Dante did too.
Aww the epilogue was so beautiful so perfect. They really are two halves of the same coin. The story was very captivating and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. This series is just the best. I’ve loved reading it so far. The fact this whole series is about handsome and kind princes already has me giving it a 10/10.

This is the third book in a five book series of concurrent stories, a unique setup where each story focuses on one of five brothers (the Princes of Rosavia), but includes references to the others’ respective stories which are all taking place at the same time. This story focuses on the middle child, Prince Julius (“Jules”) and his relationship with his oldest and closest friend, Prince Dante of Thedes. It’s a friends-to-lovers, second chance romance story, and while a light, easy read, neither the story nor the characters really “click”.
If the reader has read the story of very well known and loved M/M couple (*cough cough* Wesmie *cough cough*), this story will likely sit in its shadow. The backstory is so very similar (longtime best friends who split up due to a single sexual encounter that prompts one of the pair to flee due to a misunderstanding concerning their or their partner’s sexuality, then have no contact for years until an unexpected event throws them into each others path again), it is a challenge for the reader to not compare. If the reader hasn’t read that other story, this one may feel more fresh, but there was definitely an opportunity missed here to take a common trope and make it something new and different.
Don’t misunderstand: the writing is generally good, the story is sweet, the MCs are likeable and there’s obviously a HEA, it just lacks the depth and emotional engagement developed in the other books, and ends up falling a bit flat. So much more could have been done with the characters, in particular Jules, but unfortunately, they end up merely two-dimensional. For example, in Book 2, Prince Cassander mentions a number of impressive things about Jules (i.e., educated in Thedes, resourcefulness in the wilderness, speaks six languages including sign language and somewhat conversant in another three, a walking encyclopedia of Rosavia and a “borderline anthropologist” in countless other cultures), which makes the reader eagerly anticipate meeting Jules and learning more about him in this Book 3. Unfortunately, that fertile ground is squandered, and none of that information is developed or expanded upon. Some of the events seemed rushed, like the reunion of Jules and Dante; after 4 years of very conscious and deliberate efforts to avoid each other, within minutes of seeing each other again, all seems to be forgiven (albeit not forgotten).
This is not a book recommended to be read as a standalone, but since presumably most readers will pick this up as part of the “series”, even though it’s not mandatory reading to appreciate the other books, it is worth a read in the context of the others, and it provides a feel-good, low angst story, even if not particularly original.

Four down, one to go in the RR series. 2.5 stars rounded up for Throne Together. As I've stated previously, the narration of these stories does much to lift them up beyond the writing. If I had read this one I likely would've skimmed A LOT or perhaps DNF'd.
In general I felt the plot for this was pretty weak. It had a ton of potential what with two hot young BFF princes who'd had secretly pined for one another for years and then had a supposedly epic sexual encounter (who's to say, though, since we never really got the full deets...just the shit leading up to it), losing their virginity to one another, only to have things completely tank between them afterwards. However, so much of the plot got bogged down in all the political machinations, the treaty, and the other goings-on between the two kingdoms that it sucked the life clear out of the story. It significantly and negatively affected the pacing and things were often just flat-out boring.
Further impeding the plot was the way the two MCs danced around each other for like, what, the first half of the book? I just wanted SOMETHING to happen. And for the life of me, I couldn't understand why it wasn't, why there was such hesitance. And why did Jules leave Dante high and dry in the first place after their first encounter? I never fully understood that.
Between the complications between kingdoms and these guys unable to figure their shit out, this story just never seemed to find its footing. Oh and another frustrating thing. Once they finally did admit their feelings, the progression of their sexual relationship, or lack thereof, was completely off. You have these two guys, 25yo, in their sexual prime, secretly pining for each other for four years after only having had sex ONCE in their entire lives, with each other. They finally admit their feelings and come face to face with all those years of pining via a very hot mutual jerk off session and then....nothing but cuddling for the next however many (ie, several) days. No sexual contact or fulfillment at all for days on end? I'm not buying it. They should've been fucking like proverbial bunnies. It was entirely too slow. The few and far between encounters we were privy too were admittedly hot, but I think a lot of that was down to the narrator. That dude can narrate a sex scene fo sho. He hit all the right notes and inflections and hitches and sighs and Oh Gods. So many narrators sound like they're either stroking out or reading the phone book during sex scenes and this guy, who's name I'm obviously blanking on, is like Goldilocks getting everything just right.
Alright, stopping here. That's a lot of bitching for 3 stars but there were good moments for sure and again, the strong narration makes a difference. I've got Benedict's story left and man, I'm hoping to go out w a bit more of a bang.

It had a ton of potential what with two hot young BFF princes who'd had secretly pined for one another for years and then had a supposedly epic sexual encounter (who's to say, though, since we never really got the full deets...just the shit leading up to it), losing their virginity to one another, only to have things completely tank between them afterwards. However, so much of the plot got bogged down in all the political machinations, the treaty, and the other goings-on between the two kingdoms that it sucked the life clear out of the story. It significantly and negatively affected the pacing and things were often just flat-out boring.
Further impeding the plot was the way the two MCs danced around each other for like, what, the first half of the book? I just wanted SOMETHING to happen. And for the life of me, I couldn't understand why it wasn't, why there was such hesitance. And why did Jules leave Dante high and dry in the first place after their first encounter? I never fully understood that.
Between the complications between kingdoms and these guys unable to figure their shit out, this story just never seemed to find its footing. Oh and another frustrating thing. Once they finally did admit their feelings, the progression of their sexual relationship, or lack thereof, was completely off. You have these two guys, 25yo, in their sexual prime, secretly pining for each other for four years after only having had sex ONCE in their entire lives, with each other. They finally admit their feelings and come face to face with all those years of pining via a very hot mutual jerk off session and then....nothing but cuddling for the next however many (ie, several) days. No sexual contact or fulfillment at all for days on end? I'm not buying it. They should've been fucking like proverbial bunnies. It was entirely too slow. The few and far between encounters we were privy too were admittedly hot, but I think a lot of that was down to the narrator. That dude can narrate a sex scene fo sho. He hit all the right notes and inflections and hitches and sighs and Oh Gods. So many narrators sound like they're either stroking out or reading the phone book during sex scenes and this guy, who's name I'm obviously blanking on, is like Goldilocks getting everything just right.
Alright, stopping here. That's a lot of bitching for 3 stars but there were good moments for sure and again, the strong narration makes a difference. I've got Benedict's story left and man, I'm hoping to go out w a bit more of a bang.

Thrown Together: Rosavia Royals Book 3 (audiobook)

I struggled with both the story and the review for Thrown Together. NOT because the story lacked in its plot or had holes. NOT because the characters were flat. No, the characters were all multifaceted and lept off the page. NOT because the narration lacked in making the story come alive. No, just as with the other Rosavia Royals books, Kieran Flitton does an outstanding job breathing life into the characters.
No…This one was tough, for me, for two reasons; the first being how much my guts always twist and wrench when I think of just how different life is for royalty (in real life) from ours and that other cringe-worthy thing that gets me every time in books, angst, and miscommunication. While I loved the story just as much as the others in the series, “Throne Together” had a bit more realism to it, at least for me.
I grew up in a time when I saw a girl become a real-life Princess. Then I saw how that cost a piece of her soul, even though she was beautiful, famous, rich, and had the world at her feet. She was robbed of the one thing every princess was guaranteed to get, at least in the stories we grew up reading and seeing in theaters, a happily ever after. She was still forced to behave as if she was living her HEA, no matter what, simply because she was royal. This type of “royal realism” was captured by the author and put in the pages of Throne Together. While a job well done, it tore my guts out at times.
The “royal realism” I mentioned above is a trickle-down effect that starts at the throne of the kings of both countries in the story and touches everyone in and out of the palace. It is this, trickle-down effect that causes the next part of my own anguish with TT. The angst and miscommunication or lack of communication at all that sets the princes apart even though these young men had been best friends for 21years.
While this sort of thing would never happen between someone who’s a barista and someone else who is a mechanic, for Royals this is a different dragon that needs slaying.
I had so many different emotions whirling around inside, were I a god these emotions could have birthed a new galaxy. Alas, it was one “feels to the max” ride.
Zoe Dawn was a “New to me” author, and they completely wrote their way into my soul. I look forward to reading more by this talented writer in the future.

If you guys haven’t read this series yet, I will tell you again, you are missing out. Severely. This one broke my heart a lot. It’s a bit more angsty than the others so far, but it’s because it’s two best friends, hopelessly in love with the other, and neither knowing. It’s about lost loves and reuniting, reconnection and finally admitting who is the one.
Dante and Jules have been friends since birth. All the way through all their schooling, to the point that everyone thought they’d be together forever. But the last day of university, after a passionate moment, Jules walked out the door, thinking Dante didn’t want him, and Dante was dying from the urge to call him back to him. Never once forgetting each other, no one was ever enough for them. Now 4 years later, they meet again, and the chemistry is still electric. But the awkwardness of being apart so long, neither knows what to do. Especially in front of all the press. But they’ve missed each other so much, and maybe it’s finally time to clear the air. But will either have the nerve to say what they wanted to say all those years ago, or will they just stay friends?
This story was so good, but yeah, it’s going to get to you. When you read the angst between them, missing each other so much. Knowing for so long things could have been fixed with just a simple conversation. I think that’s what broke my heart the most for these two. For being such good friends, and talking and goofing around as much as they did, why could they never tell each other how they felt? But being the princes and in royalty, maybe that’s what made it harder. I don’t know. I just know I was so happy when they started figuring things out and really talking. But I think I felt for Dante more in this one. Not only has he been pining for Jules all along, but his father is making things impossible for him, to the point of going way too far, and almost costing Dante everything. But I loved these two. It was obvious to everyone how much they meant to each other for so long. Sometimes it takes a while for some to make the final connection, but when they do, it’s worth it.
I’ve loved all these books, but I will be honest. I can’t wait for these last two. I’m anxious to see how things are going to play out with Ben and what everyone has truly thought of him for so long. And of course, Wren. I love his personality. What a great series.

**Audio review**
I have really enjoyed the Rosavia Royals series so far and Throne Together is no different.
This book focuses on Prince Julius and his best friend, Dante. They were best friends all through childhood until the last moments of university when they gave into their attraction. However, Jules left and they hadn't spoken for several years. Now, after reuniting at an official event, Jules asks Dante to be his plus one to the Rosavian Ball so they can catch up and reconnect. It turns out that their friendship and attraction is still as strong as it was.
It's sweet reading these two friends reunite after time apart. It's easy to feel that they missed each other terribly but each thought the other wouldn't want to hear from them. Another classic case of not communicating but it makes for a good story. There's a great chemistry between the two men and I enjoyed how they interacted. It's also funny how the end result is what everyone has always expected anyway, given how close they were as children and young men. This is a classic friends to lovers, second chance for two strong characters, set in a world where both of their countries watch their every move but especially each of their parents who just happen to be the reigning monarchs.
I've loved how other's relationships are hinted at through all of the others books and so enjoyed finally getting to read/hear how this one played out and it didn't disappoint.
Keiran has yet again done an amazing job! I think his voice fits this series perfectly, definitely suited to reading in a prince's tone. He conveys the emotion and drama of everything very well and has some wonderful accents for each of the characters.

Two best friends. Two princes. Two countries. Two sock loving cats. Two weeks to reconnect.
They hadn’t seen each other in four years. Not since...well, they don’t talk about it. If they don’t talk about it, then it’s like it didn’t happen. Jules (Julius) and Danny (Dante) grew up together. They were inseparable. Jules was a Prince of Rosavia, Dante was a Prince of Thedes. They ran into each other by fate, and couldn’t resist catching up. What starts of cautious and tentative, shortly gives way to relief and renewal. When faced with the truth, they both really missed each other. They will both have to decide how much truth they want to face, though.
Like the two previous books, this one starts about two weeks before the ball and winds up at the ball. It continues to overlap scenes from the previous books, with new ones, and glimpses of the brothers we haven’t gotten to spend much time with. We are shown another perspective of the ball. I love how the authors have done this.
The writing for this book was great and consistent with books one and two. I find that fascinating because they’re all written by different authors. I’m impressed at how well they work together, yet separate, and still blend in a way that’s seamless.
This is book three, and technically can be read as a stand-alone, but it would be more enjoyable to read the series in order, in my opinion. I really liked this story. It is a story of second chances, and friends to lovers. It’s just like a big hug, and I definitely recommend it.

My heart is in Rosavia (an audio review)
I have dipped my toe into this series several times – starting at book 4, meandering back to 2, on to 5 and now 3. I’ve made a note to pick up book 1 and get to it soon. Why am I telling you this? Because it doesn’t matter where you start in this series, it only matters that you read all the books. This series of five books about five gay brothers who also happen to be princes is a little much in theory, but in execution, it just works.
Dante and Julius are BFFs. Blueberry Friends Forever. Blueberry is the fruit of Rosavia and has appeared in some interesting locations. In one story it was blueberry pizza. In this story? Blueberry lube. But I digress. The two men grew up together in each other’s pockets. They went to school together, spent holidays together, and shared a strong bond. Their mothers were close and the sons even closer. But one night of shared passion had Julius running back to his castle in Rosavia where he sits third in line to the throne – not the heir or the spare. Just the middle son who, for the most part, keeps his nose clean and his self out of the papers. Some of his brothers are less discreet.
When Dante comes back into Julius’ life, Julius makes the decision to invite him to the Rosavian Ball as his plus one. There are plenty of hijinks to be had as Dante’s meddlesome family try to enact their own agenda, and the paparazzi get wind of this budding romance. In the end, they come together and this time the bond is true.
The series is narrated by Kieran Flitton who I believe has done a great job with it. I enjoyed this on and will be off to track down book 1.

This is a fantastic shared world series about 5 brothers who so happen to be princes of the small but beautiful country of Rosavia. Although they can be all read as standalones (as the stories happen concurrently in the month before the Royal Ball), it's most definitely worth reading all of them. The authors manage to seamlessly add tidbits from the other stories in each book, but not so much as to give their plots away. It's just enough to show the interwoven nature of the stories and to give the brothers a real family-vibe - in fact, I'm not going to be able to look at blueberries without laughing again!
This story belongs to the third oldest brother, Prince Julius, and is a sweet childhood best-friends to lovers story. And what makes this even more enticing is that his best friend just so happens to be Dante, the prince of their neighbouring country, Thedes. Although they haven't seen or spoken to each other in 4 years, when Jules and Dante are thrown together just before the Ball, it's like no time has passed. Their connection is as strong as ever and this time, both of them resolve to not let go. Watching Jules finally realise exactly how he has always felt about Dante tugged at my heartstrings. In particular, the romantic day out he organises to finally address what's between them is so perfectly sweet. And like all the other books, there isn't much relationship angst, but rather a little disruption caused by outside forces to create that touch of drama. Highly recommend both this book and the whole series!

Friends to lovers is always one of my favorite tropes, and toss in a couple of princes as the friends? That’s a recipe for a really good read. I loved that Jules and Dante had been best friends and closer than anyone practically their entire lives, to me those types of relationships are some of the most fun to read.
Both Jules and Dante are drawn to each other, neither one feeling truly complete without the other. Their first and only attempt at a physical relationship leaves them awkward with each other, and Jules for sure is confused about his feelings. When they reconnect several years later, some of that awkwardness is still there since nothing was ever really resolved between them, but eventually their attraction will win out.
These two are SUCH a good match, the only thing that was a little frustrating was them not just coming right out and talking to each other. The lack of communication in these types of setups is what always frustrates me since to me it just creates unnecessary angst (I’m really over angst nowadays!). Thank goodness love finally breaks those barriers. There’s a bit of family drama on Dante’s side, balanced by the interactions with the family on Jules’s side.
Throne Together was somewhere between 4-4.5 stars for me overall, and once Dante and Jules admit to their feelings it was wonderful to see them together. There’s a bit of adult language and sexual content (lordy are these two super-sexy hot together!), so this book is meant for readers 18+.

If you’re looking for a light, breezy book that you can finish in a few hours on the beach (and control your body at the appropriate places) then you could do worse than In His Court.
Insofar as this is a gay romance novel (which are unfortunately rarely designed to be masterpieces of literature) this read ticks all the boxes well. It’s a hot romp with some touching moments and of course, unfairly sexy men - whom I read as college boy types, physically. So if that sounds like your cup of tea, it’s worth laying down a few bucks for.
This would have earned a solid 3.5-4 stars from me had it had deeper character and world building. Some of the flashbacks would have been better placed earlier in the story to build that emotional investment from the reader. And I feel like I missed out on some of the ‘in’ jokes from not having read the other books.
That said, Dante and Jules were fun to read with their playful antics, chuckle-worthy teasing and boyhood insecurities. For non-binary readers, you’ll enjoy the gender-ambiguous descriptors (e.g. “honey”, “pretty lips”, “mewling”) and feel, I hope, a sense of kinship with the boys.
Other than feeling a little unstructured in places, this was a carefree, enjoyable read. Perhaps most of all though, it made me eager to dive into the hearts of the other Rosavian Royals.

Everything they thought they buried a long time agom resurfaces and both princes have to decide if their friendship and the love they have for each other is something they can finally act on.

I especially love stories about childhood best friends to lovers and this is even better since they are both royal princes! I appreciated the fact that there were no misunderstandings about protocol and whatnot. They both were raised royally and as a result understood the importance of duty that is lacking in most royal romance pairings.
Other things that I enjoyed in the book would be the lower level of angst, giving more sweetness to the story, and the excellent narration that was super sexy. The accents for both princes were different and distinctive to note who was speaking - - which is important in single narration of a dual POV book. The only thing that I would see as "room for improvement" is the fact that there is a little bit of going back to the past that was not easy to discern in audio. I think that it would have been easier to understand that timing difference when reading it in print. But that aside, I felt listening to it by this great narrator added a lot to the story.
I think this Rosavia Royals series is a clever concept and have enjoyed several of the books already. They can be read in any order and as stand alones. But I can see that they would be really excellent to read in order one right after another for maximum enjoyment. I recommend these good stories in a clever series.
