3.5 - I really enjoyed this story, the characters and storyline were very relatable. The writing was almost poetic. But I have to knock it down a couple of stars because of the typos and grammatical errors, there were also some instances of name switch ups that took away from the overall enjoyment. Otherwise a 5 star read.
Wow!!! I don’t even know where to start with my thoughts on this book! Mariah Kingsley gave her readers that grabbed you from the very first page and refuses to let you go after the final page!! Liam and Jade’s story is just awesome!! It is filled with all the first time love feels!! Mariah Kingsley does not skimp on the drama either!
This is an amazing story and I can’t wait to grab the next book in the duet ~ Twice Broken and find out what comes next for Liam and Jade!!
Story was good but just not enough substance.Seemed like some parts were missing- character development . Also, some parts just doesn’t make sense. Sometimes it felt that the author forgot what she wrote, and there were tons of misspelling and grammatical errors. Examples, one character name is spelled Shondra and Saundra. Also, there was a part in the book where it says she took her shirt off and then a few sentences later it says that Liam took her shirt off, lol.
This book had me so emotional. I tried to pull it together so many times. Jade had a hard way to go, but she overcame. She was such a great daughter with much to look forward to. This book brought the saying, What doesn't kill me will only make me stronger, to mind. Such a touching story!
Liam had a plan... To make Jade his forever. She was the calm to his fury. Heat to his Ice. But, most importantly she was his 1st of making a new life. Jade didn't think she was capable but in a short period of time she learned somethings that will carry her into her adulthood. They were good together. Don't know how they are going to survive apart.
Where do I start? This is the first book I have read by Mariah Kingsley and let me tell you she did not disappoint! This book drew me in and had me setting on the edge of my seat I was so invested in the relationship between Jade and Liem I just couldn’t put the book down. I can’t wait to get my hands on book 2!!!
I need more Miss Kingsley, you just can’t leave me not knowing . The journey thus far was beautiful. I need to know how Jade survives without her mom and Liam . I need to know who’s the pappy of that baby . Don’t leave me line this .
This book had my whole heart! I like reallyyy didn't want it to end and I need more, seriously! Liam truly disappointed me smh but I'm happy Jade decided to bet on herself. My emotions are still high...pleaseee give us a pt 2 or spin off, something lol. I need more! Great read!!
My first book by this author and I have to say I was more than satisfied with both the storyline and the characters. While there are some minor editing issues I felt the book as a whole was well written and had an enjoyable storyline. Overall a series I will continue to read
Jade evolution through the story was wonderful to see. From timid to strong, that bad boy was good for her! It’s hard not to love and be mad at Liam at the same time!
By the end of the book I was sobbing like a baby. I absolutely will be immediately reading book 2. Jade was beautiful her mom was beautiful. I love/hate Liam and and F*CK Shondra
This was a pretty good book! Right away this storyline pulled me in and kept me wanting to read more! I’m normally not a fan of reading about teenagers but I’m glad I kept reading! I most definitely will be reading part 2!
