A very strong manatee book! Interesting and detailed information about the sea cow, and chock full of fun tidbits and colorful photographs!
However, it ended rather abruptly with "Manatees were once endangered in the U.S. Now they are not." (Which, for a brand new book, is already a bit outdated; it is sadly a real possibility that they may soon become endangered once again, with record numbers of manatees dying this year.) Could have used some elaboration there.
