Born in the UK and emigrating to Canada with his family when he was young, Ian carries with him the celtic gifts of his heritage. Always fascinated by story telling, social history, ghosts and hauntings, Ian found himself more and more assisting friends with their ghost problems and learning much more than simply stories along the way.

Ian is very grateful to have an incredible publisher to work with in TouchWood Editions as well as producing some self published (Ghost Story Guy Editions) works.

Ian looks forward to hearing more of your ghost stories and having the chance to share even more stories of the paranormal and things that go bump in the night. When not writing, Ian holds down a regular day job, as well as doing guided Ghostly Walks around Prince George and producing and co-hosting a podcast (Ghosts 'N Bears) in Prince George, BC where he lives with his family. Ian really enjoys hearing from his readers the most.

Perhaps not quite as good as Victoria's Most Haunted, Ian Gibbs still forms an interesting collection of stories of haunted locations around BC's lower mainland.

I found that there was a slightly less historical emphasis in this book than on the one for Victoria, perhaps as Gibbs wanted to explore the lesser known ghost stories of Vancouver here and also had a mind to keep some of the properties more anonymous.

However, the description of the pizza place in an unassuming strip mall across from railroad tracks and beside a movie theater in North Vancouver, seems to be pointing to the Flying Wedge Pizza outlet in Park and Tilford. It is cool to think that paranormal things are happening in your very neighborhood!

I listened to this on Spotify as a free audiobook, narrated by the author. Maybe it's because I know Ian and listen to his podcast (Ghosts N' Bears, which I recommend), but hearing him read it was the only way to go for me! I love any good ghost story, but local ghost stories? I'm in. I don't think I have "Victoria's Most Haunted" ticked off on Goodreads yet, but that was another good one. Looking forward to his next release of "Calgary's Most Haunted"!

I thought this book had a great mix of unnerving and comforting stories of the paranormal. After reading a certain section I might feel on edge and after reading another I would feel happy that I have my own ghostly companion at home. I also learned about a lot of places I will be sure to visit when I’m in Vancouver.

It's a good read and definitely some stories wouldn't hear normally on one of the ghost walks. I prefer his first book, as it had more connections to history and known people believed to be haunting places in Victoria. Over all still a fine book.
