After losing his wife to cancer, Rider leaves his elite Navy SEAL team to work undercover for the US government. Whether it is infiltrating a notorious motorcycle gang or going into the jungles of South America to destroy a huge drug lab, Rider is up for the challenge. Is there someone watching his every move, or is Rider being paranoid? He meets three beautiful ladies—smart and intelligent, but two may be deceiving him—and a handler who helps Rider in every way possible . . . or does he? He also meets a dog and a boy soldier who were both trained to hinder Rider deep in the jungles of South America but switch sides . . . or do they?

This is a high-energy, action-packed, and humorous page-turner that will grab you from the start.

Rider isn’t just a Navy SEAL turned undercover DEA agent, he’s basically what would happen if Jack Reacher and James Bond got together, hit the gym too hard, and decided to moonlight with a bad sense of humor.

This book is pure adrenaline: jungles, drug lords, biker gangs, and enough action to make Hollywood jealous. But what I loved most was how Barry mixes the intensity with humor, it makes Rider feel human, not just another untouchable action hero.

If you’re into Lee Child, Vince Flynn, or just love your thrillers fast, dangerous, and laced with a wink, Double Crossed will have you hooked from page one.

Double Crossed by Barry Lidstone is a fast paced, action-filled thriller that keeps you guessing until the final pages. Rider, a former Navy SEAL turned undercover operative, is a compelling and complex protagonist whose missions are as dangerous as they are unpredictable. The layers of deception questionable allies, hidden enemies, and shifting loyalties add constant tension and intrigue. Lidstone balances intense action with moments of humor, making the story both thrilling and entertaining. The unique addition of unexpected allies deep in the jungle adds heart to the narrative. Highly recommended for readers who love military thrillers, espionage, and nonstop adventure.
