Andy Graham is a British author currently living in the Czech Republic. His books have been described as 'dark fiction with a twist of hope'.
There are two main collections. The Risen World Thrillers are a set of scary supernatural stories that can be read separately or as a series. The Misrule is a series of slow-burn dystopian thrillers set in a future Earth similar to our own. There is also a short collection of tales that explore the creepier side of life, death and the undead.
Outside of writing he has done various things - worked as a musician, osteopath, and teacher. Now, most of his free time is taken up with two young kids who have too much energy for their own good.
I enjoyed all four stories, each unique in their own way with a twist to the tale at the end. The Angel – torment, torture and cruelty. The Crow – A board game with real players, containing mystery, fear, death and pain. A feeling of being stuck in a nightmare with each player taking part in the others events. A Demon – My favourite, packed with action throughout with a fast paced unexpected ending. Love, faith, hate, fear, trickery, death, deceit and so much more. A wolf – A combination of a mad scientist, Frankenstein and Jekyll and Hyde all rolled into one. Mystery, intrigue, hope and failure. Recommended for those who enjoy demon/monster stories.
This is a brilliant set to read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next. Recommend reading.
