Beautiful book to read during Holy week. It is a collection of Pascha sermons from Fr Antony Paul, who takes us through the events of the day and recounts it as a beautiful love story between us (the bride) and Christ, our Bridegroom. Really recommended! Not only is it a beautiful love story and new perspective to see Him as our Spouse, but also nice how he easily explains the events and prophecies of each day which makes it sound way simpler.

My only complaint is that some of the sermons weren’t longer and more fleshed out, I didn’t want them to end. Excellent imagery of Christ as the Bridegroom, while adding historical context and practical applications to our Holy Week rites. Will add to my yearly rotation.

Great read for younger individuals during Pascha Week. The sermons follow the readings of Pascha Week according to the Coptic Orthodox rite. Fr Antony Paul does a great job in simplifying and connecting prophecies with Gospel readings and also providing a short overview of the economy of Salvation in the last sermon.
