I’m not having the best day, so i decided to read something short to lighten my mood.
Quinn’s is in a romance book club, but the book club only reads clean romances, and she wants something spicy, so she and her bestie create the ‘nice girl’s naughty book club’.
As she reads the book for she book club, she decides to be just like the heroine and start speaking up. Quinn gets the corage to talk to her coworker (that she has a crush on), and this go from there.

The thing that annoyed me the most, is that a few people shame her for reading “naughty books”, since she’s a “nice girl”, and that just made me want to scream! Why do people hate so much on romance (wether is clean or not)? I like to believe that is jealousy, I have 0 shame of reading a book with a shirtless men on the cover in public (near my dad I have, but he’s my dad), so why ppl try to shame me for doing it?!

The second short read in a row for me that was mediocre and boring. It was disappointing. The most exciting thing that happened was that her audiobook started playing out loud instead of through her headphones for probably 6 seconds at a dirty part of the book. She acted like her life was ruined. This also made the guy who had a crush on her make a move. I don't know, they were both sweet characters but it just wasn't interesting for me. I'll give the second book in this series a try, I'm always willing to give it another try, especially because these are so short. Please don't be so boring Fiona. I beg of you.

Quinn is a huge romance fiction lover and has been attending a local book club with her best friend Jess for a while now but has found that recently the books they read and discuss are becoming stale, she wants smut and passion in her books not lukewarm romance. After the mean girl of the group Victoria picks and singles her out she and Jess decide it’s time to move on and create their own book club. Sordid Whispers is the first book and Quinn is drawn in from the beginning, dreaming of becoming the character that she is reading. Deciding to try out the voice she’s discovering she had she flirts with her work crush Evan and is surprised when he flirts back. Could this book change her life for the better?

Evan has had a crush on Quinn since she started working in the cubicle next to his, but never thought she noticed him in anyway other than a colleague, he’s shocked and elated when she flirts with him a little in the elevator. Deciding it’s time he makes a move on her, he discovers a whole new side of Quinn. But just when it looks like he finally gets the girl he’s dreamed of things start to fall apart, can he convince Quinn they are worth a chance?

This was a short read with steam, and a heroine finally finding her place in the world and saying all she has left unsaid fur so long. Evan was so sweet and was willing to do whatever it took to get his girl. 4* read.

Pero... yo no puedo con las historias cortas. Me dejan esa sensación de que me falta algo, o mucho.

La premisa era intensante; un romance hot de oficina. Aunque al ser tan corto le falto todo el desarrollo.
No lo encontré tan erótico como promete la sinopsis. Es más bien "insta" romcom.

Šis man šķita gadījums, kurā stipri saīsinātais formāts nāk par sliktu stāstam(biežāk ir tā, ka liekas, varēja šito noīsināt par 100 lpp. Te - varēja izvērst par vismaz 100 vai 200 lpp).

Also - man ļoti patīk tas grāmatu klubs. Jaukās meitenes lasa seksīgās grāmatas un pēc tam pārspriež. Nekādas tiesāšanas vai nosodīšanas, vai viena pareizā viedokļa uzspiešanas.

Another great series of short stories is starting of with this one, I loved to read Quinn, the story is funny, romantic and oh so steamy, loved the idea of their naughty books book club.

This was such a great short story with an original plot. Quinn loves romance books, the book club she’s in is run by a pearl clutcher bully who only wants to read sweet, kiss at the end of the book romances. When she gets called out while reading an erotic book during book club she and her bestie are asked to leave. As a parting shot the bestie yells out a time and place where the new Nice Girls’ Naughty Book Club will meet. Afraid no one will show up they are surprised when three more ladies join them. They decide to all read the book Quinn had started. It’s about a shy woman, Gabriella, finding her inner sexy woman with the help of her billionaire man, Sebastian. It’s super steamy. (Which gets her in trouble at work.) the next morning while on the elevator with her crush, Evan she tries to channel her inner Gabriella by touching him on the arm while leaning in to talk to him. He responds positively and she is so excited. Evan is super stoked too, he has had a crush on Quinn for awhile but she always has her earbuds in while working and is shy around him. Here’s where the trouble happens, when the battery on the earbuds dies the audio reverts back to Quinn’s phone, during a super steamy scene. It takes her a bit to get it turned off, by then all her cube mates have heard. Evan has a shell shocked look on his face. The company bitch takes the opportunity to be mean and makes a big deal of it. Quinn grabs her phone and runs out. Evan upset for her grabs her purse and coat and runs after her. He finds her outside, he can tell she was crying, he tries to cheer her up, when he gets her to laugh he knows he wants more with her and asks her out. Thankfully she says yes. I loved Evan’s idea for the date. He takes her to a studio that records the audio for romance/erotic books. His friends sister, Mallory gets her all set up and Quinn reads a hot sexy scene flawlessly. Evan is really turned on by hearing her reading the scene, so is Quinn, so much so that they can’t control themselves and end up having sex in the parking lot in the car. They spend the whole weekend together, Monday at work, Quinn gets called into her manager’s office, to be reprimanded for the audio. The sexist manager tries to shame her for what she was listening to. The new Quinn is not going to be shamed by anyone, she is not going to let him push her around. She quits after telling him off. When she comes back to her cube, Evan tells her she can’t quit, still running on her angry high she tells him off too for telling her what she can and can’t do. Feeling terrible for yelling at him she spends the night miserable. Evan stops by the next afternoon to make sure she’s ok since she wasn’t answering his call or texts. She apologizes and the two confess their love. Great epilogue with her being asked to fill in as voice talent when someone cancels, that starts her on the path to being a wildly successful narrator and she loves her new job. Evan proposes to her in the parking lot where they had sex for the first time.

Gabriella's Protégé . . .

Bored by the plain vanilla romance reads selected by the book club’s bossy leader, Jess turns to Quinn in excitement when Quinn voices her own wishes – that they start a “Nice Girls’ Naughty Book Club” and read some REAL romance! Quinn had been teasing, but Jess wanted to continue the conversation when their meeting was over. For Quinn, she feels a connection already to Gabriella, the main character in the racy book. Quinn wants to be open like that, able to voice what she feels, but she doesn’t have the nerve to speak up. Like now, when the Queen Bee of their boring book club is demanding to know what she is reading so intently that she is not paying attention to her. She mumbles the title in embarrassment and is asked to repeat what she said. So feeling emboldened like “Gabriella” in the book, she stands and tells the group explicitly what she is reading. She hears others murmur their approval. When the leader kicks out both Quinn and Jess, they announce their new exciting book club having its first meeting at 7:00 at The Story Brew. At first, no one showed up… but that didn’t last long! The five members agreed on “Sordid Whispers” and would regroup for a discussion type meeting in a week. The book club was off to a great start!

A nice secondary benefit to reading the racy book is that Quinn is gaining self-confidence as she relates vicariously with Gabriella. So when Evan ran for the elevator, she flirted with him for the first time, touching his arm as Gabriella would do, whispering in his ear. She definitely had his attention! He has always assumed she was indifferent toward him, but perhaps it was just shyness? He wanted to talk with her, but she always had her earbuds in which sent its own kind of message to keep people away.

After the meeting, she put in her earbuds again to continue Gabriella’s story. Her earbuds make a wavering sound and she remembers the battery had been almost dead that morning. She forgot to charge it because of the meeting. She hears the narrator’s voice reading the book, but only faintly now, suddenly realizing her phone had continued playing the story out loud. In her hurry to turn it off, she turns the volume up and everyone around her can hear it. She looks up into Evan’s wide eyes! Then she runs out of the building in embarrassment. Evan picks up her purse and coat and runs out after her. Is this his chance to finally get to talk to her? Is this her moment to listen to him and find out that he’s interested in her, even though she never gave him the chance to get close enough to tell her?

This was a cute story about shy Quinn learning to speak up and take charge, learning from the book character she related to in the story. Luckily for her, Evan understands that. Has she finally found a love of her own?

This book was a Fast Read, Sweet, Funny, kool Characters, Strong friendships, Romance, Steamy because of the books they read and also a bit of steam with the main characters, book clubs, Co-Worker Romance..

It was fun to read about a book club in this book and that some of the characters liked reading.. I thought it was funny that Quinn and her best friend Jess was in a book club at the started of the book called The Romantics Book Club but they did not like the woman that runs it because she is always bossy and made the members in the book club to read books that she wanted them to read..

So i laughed when Quinn & Jess left the book club but before they did they talked about the books they wanted to read and that they were going to make their own book club which was funny because the woman running the other book club did not like that.. Quinn and Jess called their book club

Quinn and Even are so cute together and seeing their relationship grow was fun to read about.. Its a short romance story with a happy ending..

Finding her voice by starting The Good Girls' Naughty Book Club

What to you do when "The Romantic Book Club" you belong to will not read anything other than sweet kiss and fade to black/waves crashing on shore stories. Well if you are Quinn and her best friend Jess you start your own book club, The Nice Girls' Naughty Book Club to be specific. Really the two of them had no choice when they are asked to leave and not come back. They already have their first book too....Sordid Whispers. On the way out they announce they will be starting their own book club and meeting the next evening at The Story Brew at 7pm. When the next evening comes around Quinn and Jess are joined by Courtney, the cashier at the bookstore where the other club meets, and twins Michelle and Fiona. Everyone is down for reading and discussing "there dirtier the better" books. Let the fun begin!!!
This book is about Quinn finding her voice while reading Sordid Whispers and the lead female character Gabriella as she finds her sexual awakening with her billionaire boss Sebastian. Through a set of sometimes funny, sometimes embarrassing situations Quinn not only finds her voice but she also finds a new career, a new love with Evan who is her crush from work and a new life that is vastly different and so much more fulfilling and happy.

I really enjoyed this first book in the series. The story-line was really smart and charming, the writing is well done and Quinn and Evan are nicely developed along with the other ladies being hinted at with their introduction. If the other women's stories are as well done as this one then they should be a wonderful mix of charming, funny and smexy.

Quinn joyed a book club to get out and meet people. on this one night at book club, she wanted to read sexy books not just romance books.
While at the book store she picked up a book and started to read it during her book club. After being called out for reading her naughty, she told everyone that she was going to have her own naughty book club. So the next day, her best friend and her sat in the coffee shop hoping people would show, Sure enough 3 girls did show. This going to be a good book club.
One day while at work she had her ear buds in listening to her book when they died, so she switched to her phone. Her phone was on speaker and everyone in the office heard what she was listening too. Totally embarrassed, she ran out of the building. Leaving everything behind her co-worker Evan brought her stuff to her.
Evan had a secret crush on Quinn. He started by asking her on a date and took her to a book reading by people narrate books for Authors. She was asked to do a reading for fun and really enjoyed it. Loving every minute of it, so when she was called into her bosses office the next day to discuss the mishap on the phone. She told him she QUITS! Leaving Evan at the office but when she got home she got a call to fill for a voice over to read a sexy, naughty book. She's in Heaven. Once her & Evan are together, their relationship blossoms. She still has her book club and has a great job. What more could she ask for?

Quinn and Jess are tired of the sweet romances they are reading in their book club. They want to read the hot steamy stories that are filled with racy moments. When they are kicked out of the clean romance club they are fine with that and let everyone know that they are starting their own naughty book club and when they'll meet. Quinn is stunned when others actually show up to meet for it. When she by accidents plays her naughty book at work where everyone can hear it she's embarrassed because of the naughty scene it was at. Evan has had a crush on Quinn for awhile and follows her when she rushes out. He tries to smooth things over for her about what happened. Its not long before he gets her to agree to go on a date with him. He surprises her by where they go and it makes her fall for him even more. When she gets called into her boss's office the next day she wonders if she's fired. However things never go as expected and she may have just found her voice for the first time. Will Evan finally get his chance with Quinn? Will she lose her job?

This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

New series new goodness!! 😍🥰

I loved this! Book one was the bomb! Quinn and Evan made such a cute couple! I can’t wait to read the other girls books! I’ve met people like Victoria and they are such snobby prats, 🤢 yuck to all of those people that think like that. You see them in the reviews all the time. I don’t mind an erotic book. As long as it’s tasteful. Naturally there are some topics and genres within the eroticism spectrum I avoid because it’s not my bag but I’d never shame someone (as long as it’s legal) I could care less what your kinks are or what you like to read. But others will judge or rate an author bad. I dislike this very much. I loved how Quinn found her voice. What I didn’t like was Dash keeps using Gabby and Gabriella in multiple books lol that’s my soon to be ex wife’s name and she’s a vile serpentine I grimace each time she said well what would Gabriella do? I’m like you don’t want me answering this girl! 🤬😡. Other than that steamy hot chemistry between the two and such beautiful connections made between them as well. I loved how they came together and how she ended up becoming more strong and finding her backbone. Mason was pure trash. Claudia had to probably crawl on her knees to get that favor. 😑 wouldn’t put it past the 🐩 now what I mean? This grumpy bear 🐻 gave this new series opener a solid 5 radiant stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Asi.... cortos y bien contados....
Buena historia y su desarrollo fluye muy rapido a medida que van corriendo las paginas.
Tiene dos partes donde la primera es que Quinn y sus amigas forman parte de un grupo de lectura donde solo se leen libros romanticos pero por proponer un libro erotico la creadora del grupo las expulsa a lo que a la salida Michelle su amiga grita que ellas crearan un grupo de lectura de libros eroticos que quien quiera unirse se encontraran en x sitio x dia.... chevere....
Segunda parte es un momento chistoso pero serio en verdad .... Quinn quien trabaja en X oficina y que por accidente se le descargan sus audifonos lo que hace que la lectura del libro caliente (susurros sordidos) que estaba leyendo en audiolibro se pusiera en modo altavoz y todos en la oficina oyeron "cierta parte" del libro comprometedora .... Ella es despedida del trabajo por ese fiasco pero ella ya tiene una carta bajo la manga.... resulta que Evan quien tiene un estudio de grabacion de audiolibros le gusta la voz de ella y le dice que es la mas sensual que ha escuchado que quiere hacerle una prueba y la contrata para grabar audiolibros.
Evan se enamora de su voz y de toda ella y le dice que quiere recrear la escenas del libro en el yate del libro susurros sordidos. sele propone, se casan y son felices.
Siguen con el club de lectura erotica....

Weekly Quinn and her friend, Jess, go to a book club meeting, but it is not what she was hopping for as the leader likes to feel she is the Queen Bee. The books she picks are sweet romances with happy endings. While in line to get next week's book, Quinn notices a book that seems to offer a bit more heat. While in the meeting Quinn could not help but start reading and is called out for not paying attention, and is kicked out of the club. While leaving, Jess, says they are starting their own club.

After getting lost in the steamy book, Quinn start wanting to step out of the shadows. On the way to the office, Evan, her crush enters the elevator and Quinn can't help but flirt with him. Evan works in the cub next to Quinn and has had a crush on her, but has not found away to talk to her. What he took as disinterest may have been just shy.

This is the first book in what looks to be a fun series. This fast read has a bit of drama from the mean girl at work, but the connect between Evan and Quinn is sweet, as they get to know each other. It turns hot and steamy as Evan helps Quinn find her voice and what turns to be her new path. Looking forward to the next books.

Quinn and her friend, Jess had joined a booked club to enjoy all types of romance books, but this one was run by a Queen Bee that was only going to allow simple sweet romance with a single kiss at the end, nothing racy allowed. At one meeting Quinn picked up an erotic romance before going in and was reading it during the meeting, when the the leader asked her what she was reading. When Quinn responded, the leader hit the ceiling asking her and Jess to leave the group and not to return, which Quinn told everyone as she was leaving, she would start her own group giving them the information. This new book was helping Quinn find her voice, as she was putting herself in place of the heroine of what she would do in all these situations she was being placed into. A fantastic literary use by a person to take a fictional story to turn their life around and find their voice. You will find lots of humor and an unbelievable first date. A very enjoyable book.

This book was a great read, the characters were good, easy to read, fast paced, entertaining, romance and an HEA.

Quinn and her friend Jess and several other women belong to a book club. Just before the book club is to begin Quinn spots a book that catches her eye and buys it. Quinn wants to read books with super sexy scenes, hot alpha males, handsome males and have HEAs. After a brief encounter with the facilitator Quinn leaves and decides to form her own book club “Nice Girl’s Naughty Book Club”. After reading the book Quinn decides she is going to be bold and go for what she wants. Quinn has a crush on her co-worker Evan and she decides to take notes from the she read and Evan is totally surprised.

This is a short novella that gets Quinn out of the quiet zone, using her voice and go for it. I enjoyed it very much.

Quinn is a member of a Romance Bookclub. Quinn is unhappy with the reads the chairperson has them reading. she would like to see something more descriptive. When she is told to leave she decides to start her own bookclub. Quinn is reading a new book and decides to download the audio so she can listen at work. What ends up happening is her earbuds run out and the whole office hears her book and when she realizes what has happened she is embarrassed, humiliated, and runs out of the office. Evan is her next door cube mate and runs after her. Evan has had the hots for Quinn for over a year and has not figured out how to get to know her. The thing is Quinn has the hots for Evan and has been too shy to make a move. This story is entertaining, enjoyable, funny, original and has a little heat. The characters are lovable and once they connect it’s magical. Very good read!

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Quinn is the first book in the ‘’nice girl’s naughty book club’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Quinn and her best friend are part of a book club this isn’t satisfying them. When they decide to make their own naughty book club they find a hot read. Evan has wanted his co-worker for a while. When he sees a different side to her will he finally confess his feelings?
The chemistry between Quinn and Evan is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought they made a cute couple.
I loved that Quinn was a nice girl with a dirty side.
I couldn’t stand Claudia!
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

This is the first book in the Nice Girls' Naughty Book Club. It's a short, steamy instalove story. Lana Dash has short instalove stories down to a fine art. I never thought I could love and be thoroughly entertained by short stories, but I haven't found one by Lana Dash that I haven’t loved. They're great when you need a short escape from life. The first book in Lana Dash's new The Nice Girls' Naughty Book Club series tells the story of Quinn. When Quinn grows frustrated with the romance book club she belongs to along with her best friend, they decide to start their own club where they can read some more erotic romance. While reading through the first book, Quinn discovers that the heroine is helping her grow her confidence and find her own voice. That includes flirting with her crush at work, Evan. Evan has been attracted to the beautiful young woman for months, but she has always seemed quiet and shy. But when an embarrassing moment at work opens Evan's eyes, it also opens the door for the two to admit how they feel. This is a really fun, quick and steamy read.

Cute premise!

Quinn and her best friend start a new book club after being kicked out of their boring, old one. Quinn wishes she could be more like the heroines in her favorite erotic romances, especially when it comes to her co-worker, Evan. Quinn gets that chance when her ear buds malfunction and Evan and the rest of the office get an earful of erotica, too hot for the workplace. Evan saves the day with his sweet and thoughtful gesture to help Quinn feel better about the epic mistake. Evan is super sweet and resourceful. He and Quinn fit perfectly together as a couple.

You’ll really enjoy this story and perhaps, you’ll also want to join a book club, like me, after I read this book. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series.

Quinn and her friend are a part of a local romance book club but they’re ready for spicier reads and the organizer isn’t open to suggestions. They end up starting their own book club hoping they can get members open to other genres.

The first book in the new club is much spicer and Quinn doesn’t even want to put it down. She decides to replace her podcasts with the audio version and is greatly embarrassed when the story mistakenly plays through her phone’s speaker. Evan has a long-standing crush on Quinn and sees his opportunity to help Quinn and make sure she doesn’t let this situation crush her.

This was a fun read and a good start to a new series.

Holy moly, this is a first for sure. Ever have a co-worker that shares the same cube as you in the office that you both have a crush on each other. But are afraid to tell the other how you feel thinking they other is not interested! That is what this one is about. She is a bookworm that loves to read erotica books and audiobooks. This is the icebreaker that is needed for these two. Malfunction of her headset lets everyone hear the hot steamy story she is listening to at work. Let's say this is a NSFW story. Once this happens, it leads them to both talking and getting to know each other better. Can this story help them both to open up to each other more and get a HEA?

Quinn and Evan work together but are both shy and have crushes on each other. She secretly reads erotic romances and listens on her earbuds. One day her earbud batteries die and the worst thing possible happens. Quinn and Evan finally open up to each other and agree to a date. A co-workers sister runs the studio where they do the audio books for erotic romances and Evan has gotten Quinn a short tryout period, that impresses Mallory. The romance skyrockets after that and Evan loves her new strong voice. Quinn quits her job and finds a better boss in Mallory. Loved the characters, the Naughty Book Club, the storyline and the ending. Can not wait for the next one in the series.
