This Fast Pace Series Continues
Now we have Harley’s story and he is set on the pretty girl at the deli that he visits pretty much every day for some reason. Rosie escaped Mexico from the cartel but has landed in the same type of situation when she arrives in the US. The deli owner took Rosie in and now she is his slave. Harley hears one of the beatings that Rosie has to endure only to bust in to save her.
Harley is the kind of man who will help his woman even to the point of letting changing things up in the bedroom. Just as the book ends that is another surprise at the clubhouse coming to look for her momma!!

"She had a sweetness about her that was enough to leave me with cavities just by looking at her."
Harley is the fourth book in the Wicked Kings MC New York series. This is the story of Harley and Rosie and continues the dramatic cliffhanger ending of the previous book, Beast. After the Sinful Souls are taken care of Harley and a couple other Wicked Kings members walk the couple blocks to a local deli to get some smokes and something to eat. The deli also has something else which Harley likes....Rosie. Rosie works at the deli but things are not what they may seem. After the older owner comes out and starts to hit Rosie Harley and the guys intervene. Harley takes Rosie back to the club where things quickly turn into something else.
So I am not sure exactly how to describe this story except that it is so far fetched that I gave my eyes a really good workout. The story is fast-paced and if it stuck to one or two things it would be good but with an illegal Mexican, PTSD, black out drunk, sexual acts, a take on a D/s relationship where the sub is Harley (???) who just happens to be a big, muscular, pure Alpha pitbull of a guy. I will admit that I can go with the flow on outlandish and crazy stories but this one just did not work for me. In the end I was disappointed by it as I did enjoy the previous books in this series.
This is only my opinion so if you like Autumn Summers and this series then read Harley and make up your own mind. After all you may really love it, and that is what makes the world such a great place.

Harley is a member of the Wicked Kings and he heads to the mini-mart after their rival the Soul's try to attack them in their clubhouse. He has a thing for the cashier at the mini-mart he goes to and when he witnesses her boss abusing her, he steps in. Rosie is an illegal immigrant that finds herself in a situation that she can't get herself out of. I liked both of their characters at first but then the plot missed the mark for me. Rosie gets herself into a precarious situation at the clubhouse and Harley writes it off as PTSD. At an attempt to make Rosie feel like she has control again, he gives her the power in the bedroom. This just didn't feel true to who the characters were in the beginning and it left the book feeling "off". It moves the plot of the series along but this was not my favorite one in the series.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! By the time you’ve figured out who is who and who to like and dislike, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
Book 4 reads like the others AMAZING a little out there with the craziness but it picks up where the last one left off after they took care of the Sinful Souls they head to the deli for food and yep Ms. Rosie works at the deli and Harley can’t keep his eyes off of her but on the outside, everything appears nice and calm until the owner of the deli comes out smacking Rosie around. Of course, Harley isn’t going to just sit back and allow that after stepping in he takes Rosie with him. Rosie is suffering from PTSD results of her childhood she has been to hell and back so to speak and Harley makes the decision to help her so that she can live a productive life and be okay with being who she is also dealing with what has happened to her in the past will it be enough for the two of them to find happiness?

He goes there every day she is working to buy something just so he can see her. This time, she is actually flirting with Harley when her boss comes out of the back room and starts beating her up. Harley grabs Rosie and gets her out of there while his friend “detains” her boss.

So I don’t think it fully explains this in the description but this is a complete continuation of the previous books, it’s not a series where there is an underlying story which you need to read in order to follow, you will get lost if you haven’t read the previous books as it feels like this one opens mid scene from the last.
That’s not a bad thing, I enjoy being drip fed a story and like the tension it brings but always like it made clear this is more a serial than a series I guess.
The story is short sharp and exciting with little time to introduce the characters, their backstory or motivations but there are elements of them all, which does give this book a more well rounded feel than it might otherwise get. The story does jump around a fair bit though and there are elements which are clearly important which get hugely glossed over, such as Rosie dancing in the bar and what really happened. I’m not sure it’s really instalove as much as it is instalust, and the ending is a cliffhanger set up for the next book which is exciting.
Overall I think I’d have understood and enjoyed this book more had I realised I needed to read the previous releases.

Genre heavy stereotypes
Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, adult intimate scenes, insta-love, and violence.
These are not stand-alone stories, but more like a serial featuring different H/h with each story that ends with a HFN and a series cliffhanger.
Just like all of the previous stories, this contains a lot of grammatical issues, relies on stereotypes to build the universe, characters, etc. I hadn’t mentioned the grammatical issues in previous reviews because I was still trying to understand how the storyline potential could be so wasted on novellas, where the scenes have to be crammed together with little to no detail.
I have stayed with the series so much hoping it would get better, plus there always seemed to be a cliffhanger that intrigued be enough to give it another chance.
Unfortunately I am not going to continue with the series, but you might enjoy if you are just looking for a couple of quick adult scenes cobbled together with an overall storyline theme.

This is the 4th book in the Wicked Kings series. This is the story of Harley and Rosie. Harley is in the Wicked Kings and loves to visit the little deli around the corner to visit Rosie. Rosie is a young woman who was fleeing the cartels in Mexico when she got separated from her parents. The owner of the deli found Rosie and offered to give her a job and a place to live, but of course, he turned out to be just as bad as the cartel – he began controlling Rosie and beating her. This happened one night when Harley was there and he turned out to be Rosie’s knight in shining armor. The attraction between Rosie and Harley is mutual.

This book is part of a series of interconnected books. It can be read alone but is best experiences in order because it will build the interconnected stories instead of just the individual story. I liked Harley’s character. He’s a tough guy, muscle for the biker gang. He’s also gentle when it comes to Rosie, a woman he likes that works at a local deli. When Harley finds that she’s in trouble, he helps her out, but there’s emotional trouble that will take longer to work through. There are a few questionable moments in the story that don’t make sense at the time but will be explained later, such as how Rosie’s boss can get away with being abusive to an employee. This is given an explanation later so hang in there. Overall it’s a quick and steamy read with a biker and the sweet girl who needs saving.

Being fair this is the first book I’ve read in this series so I’m not sure if that is the issue but i didn’t really find much anything enjoyable as far as reading with this particular story. I’m thinking there has to be more to it than what I read on the pages between Harley and Rosie. There just doesn’t appear to be any substance at all. I’m actually left with a feeling of what the heck did I just read that had no rhyme or reason - just stripping a club member of his colors and sex with Harleys girl. The book was really too short to really have much more to it. I did give it four stars simply because it probably is my lack of previous books and that history. I have read other work from this author and have always enjoyed her stories so I’m guessing that’s what it is. While flirting, the owner comes in and starts to beat her in front of him and the president of the MC. He pulls her away while the president takes care of the owner for hitting a woman. She is taken back to the clubhouse/bar with him. While there things get steamy between them, but then she has a flashback of her boss from months of being beaten by him. He is taken aback about how she is reacting. There are problems in the MC that have to be taken care of. With everything that is going on in the MC and with her is he able to keep up with them both. Does she fit in with the MC? Are these two able to have a HEA?

Rosie, the corner deli worker, is rescued by Harley, a member of the Wicked Kings MC. Harley is out of cigarettes and walks to the corner deli to buy some more, when he witnesses the owner beating Rosie in front of Harley. My first thought was that this owner didn't have any smarts in his department because he should have realized what would happen to him in Harley's presence. Harley has taken a liking to Rosie but hasn't had the nerve to ask her out. Now that Harley has taken Rosie away from an awful job, he can protect her now. He doesn't waste any time in showing Rosie how he feels towards her. This is a fast and short read of a big bad MC guy who will step in and protect a woman being abused especially his woman. Rosie knew that Harley had a little piece of his heart that was just for her. This is book #4 of the "Wicked Kings New York" series. Enjoy!

This is Harley and Rose's story, he's been attracted to her for some time but so far he's done nothing about it but when he happens upon her being abused by her boss he just can't stand by and do nothing. It was sheer luck that he was in the right place at the right time to help her but to keep her safe he will need to do more. So he takes her to the club telling her she'll be safe there. He then makes her see that she's worth more, in so doing he helps her believe in her self. During the time they spend together the attraction deepens and feelings begin to develop between them. A well written enjoyable addition to the series!

I love the MC Romance genre and was only too happy to read this ARC.
I’ve got to be honest that I didn’t care much for Rosie. I couldn’t quite resolve who she really was and as short as this romance was, I was still feeling a little awkward about her character.
She seemed sweet at first, but as her traumatic history was briefly revealed, I thought her behavior was odd and I didn’t quite accept the PTSD logic.
I’m not an expert on PTSD and how it may manifest, so I’m not saying this wasn’t realistic, just that it gave me on “off” kind of a feeling that I could never really shake.
It was hard to get into the steam part of their relationship as I couldn’t really connect with this couple.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fourth book in the Wicked Kings MC series. In this book, Harley is the enforcer of the MC and is attracted to Rosie, the young woman who works at the deli close to the MC clubhouse. One day while he was in the deli, Rosie's boss hit her and Harley came to her rescue. Harley took Rosie back to the club and told her she would be safe. Rosie was not handling things well and had too much to drink. When Harley caught her with a man from the club, he knew she was not herself. Rosie was suffering PTSD from the abuse from her boss and Harley came up with a solution to help her. i liked this book, there was an amazing connection between Harley and Rosie and i think Harley cared for her very much. I liked how protective Harley was. Good one.

This is a quick and entertaining read with a surprise at the end that has you wanting to find out more. Harley has a crush on the checker at the deli not far from the Kings and Queens club. After a fight with the Souls when they storm their Club, he and Sarge head to the deli for smokes and food. When he observes Rosie’s boss beating on her, he jumps to her rescue as Sarge deals with the boss. He takes her back to his club where he learns more of what her life has been like and that she suffers from PTSD. He will do anything to help her even giving her control in the bedroom. Can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Yes it is a quickie but it continues with this story arc for this series! It does end on a cliffhanger but oh what a cliffhanger it is! This is Harleys and Rosies story. It starts with a heck of a blow up and it is brutal. But the Wicked Kings are not to be messed with and the women that they care for are not to be touched. Well I wonder why the memo was not delivered to Marco. Oh sorry it was he just forgot that once you touch you take the risk of bringing down these Men for some extracurricular activities that you know only will come to bloodshed. Oh you get it all within this series and you know that Miss Summers has a way of keeping us in check when exploring her stories!

Harley and Sarge walked to the convenience store for some food and cigarettes. Rosie, the cashier and Harley have flirted with each other every time they go there. This time Rosie's boss came out and started beating her up and Harley and Sarge intervened with Harley taking her out of there and back to the club.
She suffers from PTSD and has issues from her childhood. Harley has given her a safe place to stay but what happens with them? Can they make it work?
This is another quick read.

Shy, Harley his eyes on Rosie the girl that works behind the counter at his favorite deli and he is mesmerized by her evrytime he goes there. One day while shopping she starts flirting with Harley, until the store owner comes out and starts beating her. Rosie is an illegal and she was being helped by the store owner who abuses and is much worst than the cartel she and her family were escaping. Harley is the knight in shinning armor she has been dreaming of and this last beating is what will be her saving grace. They have this intense attraction and this fast paced story will entertain you. I volunteered to review this story.

Harley is a member of the Wicked Kings MC. When he is called into service he goes, no questions asked. Harley is interested in the girl behind the counter at the mini mart. When he sees her being abused by the owner he steps in. He rescues Rosie from the abuser. Rosie is going to survive and Harley wants to help her. He takes an personal interest in helping Rosie get back on her feet. He wants her to stay around with him. He is a man of few words but he is passionate about the MC and about Rosie. The series continues.

Harley and Rosie have an attraction to each other. One day while Harley is at the deli flirting with Rosie, her boss comes in and starts to beat her. Harley immediately comes to her rescue and takes her back to the Kings and Queens club. Rosie slowly opens up about her past and all the baggage that comes with her. This was a fast paced read with likeable characters. The story picked up where the previous book ended. Even though a different couple is the main story, characters from previous books are mentioned and the overall story moves forward. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Autumn is rocking this Wicked King MC series...
Another that reads as a standalone, all are fairly quick reads but they focus on a different heron in each book I love the reconnection with the guys & gals at the clubhouse & love their respect for "church" meetings! This story features Harley who saves a young girl from yet another beating from her boss at the deli Harley likes to frequent. He claims her as these macho bikers tend to do but she's more than willing in the knowledge that these rough lads take really good care of their women. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author other than the prequel to the series (which is currently free). The prequel did help me get some of the basics concepts and characters but I think you could get what was going on without reading it too. The series is probably best read in order but you would be okay jumping in here. The book was a really quick read and I do wish the author expanded on the story in some areas but I still thought it was pretty good. It kind of reminded me of watching an episode of a tv show.

This story is the fourth book in the Wicked Kings New York series and has started where the last one ended when a rival MC barged in the Wicked Kings' club. It was an attention-getter beginning to a story about Harley and Rosie. Rosie was being abused by her employer and Harley rescued her. Then Harley took it upon himself to make sure that Rosie was protected. A nice story of a strong man's willingness to do anything to help the person he cares for. Looking forward to reading the next story in this series.

Harley picks up where the las book ended with the Kings taking back their stolen property from the Souls. Now the Souls are fighting back. Harley has had the hots for the girl (Rosie)working at the deli down the street and Sarge and Harley went there to get smokes. When the shop owner starts hitting Rosie Sarge and Harley step up and bring her back with them to Kings and Queens. Rosie has issues and Harley is more than happy to help her. This ends like the rest with a cliff hanger for the next installment.
