This is the second book I’ve read by J.C. Boddington and it was even better than the first one. It’s been a long time since I read their first story and I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed that. Certified Taboo is better in my opinion. It’s much longer for one thing, but also there’s more character development and it’s just a funny story in general.

I finished reading CT in a couple days because I didn’t want to put it down. Lucas is definitely a flawed man, but his inner monologue is hilarious at times. And Val is pretty feisty and tries to keep him on his toes, but Lucas’s alpha male tendencies usually win out. Their dynamic is definitely fun, but I was actually a bit more interested in learning more about the other relationship that’s described in the book. I’m hoping the next book will explore that more...

This was a light and fun read and it took my mind off work and everything that’s going on right now.

This book had me cackling until the early hours. The male protagonist's internal monologue was so messed up. I couldn't help but laugh at his disturbing and arrogant thoughts.

Interestingly, there are two relationships explored in this book, both revolving around the female MC. One is M/F and the other is F/F. Both relationships were really hot but it was the F/F one that I found most enjoyable to read.

I can't wait to read the next instalment. I hope it comes out soon. I'd like to know what happens next.

I loved this book so much! The writing style, dual narrator, characters and the sizzling hot chemistry/heat factor between Val and Lucas made it a sexy and entertaining story. I didn't want it to end. Lucas and Val have such a dysfunctional relationship, but the way they both think is hilarious. I'm addicted. I can't stop thinking about this book and I need more!!

My best friend recommended this book to me. We both enjoy erotica and she’s never let me down with her recommendations in the past. After reading it, I’ll be recommending it to my other friends as well. The author seems to have another book so I’ll read that soon. I didn’t want this one to end!

The opening lines of the book are so funny and the humor continues throughout. The sex is so hot. Although I wanted to be in the female MC’s shoes and jump into bed with the male MC, I also found the F/F plot really sexy as well. Maybe even more hotter. I hope that gets explored more in the next book. I’m assuming there will be a sequel.
