Relectura. Me quiero poner al día con los tomos que tengo en casa y había pasado demasiado tiempo desde que me leí este. Un gran manga que recomiendo a todo el mundo
Volume 13 Everyone wakes up in the Patch Village, glad to be in a safe place and they get to see The Great Spirit, the spirit ally for the next Shaman King. Pretty cool. But then we're informed that the next part of the Shaman Fight is... a tournament. Everyone needs to form teams of 3, which doesn't look hard considering our current friend group... but... Say hello to our new friend, Joco, he's joining the team and fighting in the first match with Ren and Horohoro. Meanwhile, Yoh forms a team with Ryo and... Faust VIII. Hmm...
This omnibus contains volumes 13-15. This series has 35 volumes.
Reading the omnibus is very interesting, I never completed the whole anime series and picked the manga on a whim without any real plan behind it. The Shaman Fight is well underway. Hao is still mysterious and Yoh is calm and overconfident in his strength. He is really sure of his victory and focusing on the now is his greatest power. I can't wait to see what will happen, they have passed the first official round of their Tournament portion of the Shaman Fight. I can't help but feel it too easy, attempts are made to make you believe that there are high stakes but Yoh and his team are at ease so much but feel like, it's a breeze. Yoh, Ren, Horohoro, Joco- everybody just keeps getting stronger at exponential rates.
With that said, I am really enjoying the story, can't wait for the rest of the omnibus to be published, I am definitely preordering whatever volumes are available right now.

Shaman King: Omnibus Volume 5 includes Volumes 13–15 of the original manga by Hiroyuki Takei. The Shaman Fight is now in full swing, and Yoh’s team must face stronger and more dangerous opponents as the tournament heats up.
This volume dives deeper into the motives and powers of Hao—the mysterious and overpowered shaman who threatens to destroy the balance between humans and spirits. Yoh and his friends grow stronger both in skill and spirit, as their bonds are tested and their resolve sharpened.
What’s Inside:
- Intense tournament battles with high stakes
- More backstories revealing characters’ motivations
- Hao’s influence becomes more dangerous and widespread
- Continued mix of action, emotion, and spiritual themes
The 3-in-1 format remains a great value, with clear artwork and an engaging pace that keeps readers hooked.
An action-packed and emotional volume that adds depth to the story and builds excitement for what’s to come—essential for fans following the Shaman Fight!
6 stars if i could. it's just getting better and better. i don't remember the 2001 anime focusing on the individual side characters' stories and i'm so glad i read the manga before going to watch the reboot. yoh is so COOL i'm miffed i still don't have the next omnibus. i'm going to buy it after work today LOL
This is a sweet spot in the series where Takei kinda realizes he just doesn't want to do a straightforward tournament arc so he turns the tourney fights into philosophical stuff and in later volumes just sidesteps most of the shaman fight altogether and it kind of rules. Also, big demon wife rules
