Inked within the pages of Blooming Bare, Morgan Richard Olivier uses poetry and prose to embody the steppingstones of inner work and acceptance while uncovering purpose and the power of perspective. These writings are the revelations, reflections, and raw conversations with one’s self that are commonly felt yet rarely discussed along the journey of self-love, healing, and growth. By identifying our brokenness, assessing ourselves fully, and redirecting in an effort to align ourselves with peace and progress - we can embrace our truths, lessons, and journey. It is only after we remove the burdens and discover the depths of our authenticity that we can bloom boldly and unapologetically into the people that we were created to become.
Morgan is a most insightful and wise young women. Often as read, I found myself wondering if she had been reading my diary: her comments seemed to be personal messages meant for me alone. Her use of alliteration and affirmations drive home key points. Her willingness to share her own brokenness to help others heal is a gift of far more value than she could possibly realize. If you, or someone you love struggles with negative self-image, depression, anxiety, confusion, or feelings of being lost; this is the book you need. It wouldn't hurt to have all of her works!!
This books talks a lot about god. Unfortunately this wasn’t made apparent. I’m not a religious person, although I have a lot of respect for those who are, all the mention of god, and turning yourself over to god made me cringe. Halfway through I started changing “god” to “universe” in my head and it made it a lot easier to stomach. But in reality I never would have purchased this book if there had been any indication that it was so faith focused.
I felt like I was reading my own inner thoughts and feelings, put into words much more beautifully than I ever could. This is definitely a book that I will be reaching for and rereading again and again, whenever I feel like I need to be reminded of my value and need to feel empowered!
I found some of Ms. Olivier's writing a few months ago. She talks a lot about growth and change and giving up biefs and behaviors that don't help you. Many of her passages really speak to me. This is a book I will read again and again.
This is my second book that I have read of Morgan’s and I still can’t get enough. So insightful and so motivating. One of my favorite quotes (although I have many from this book) is “making moves in silence”.
I could not have found this Author & Her Books at a better time in my life! I absolutely love her writing and how relatable it is. How it has uplifted me and encouraged me throughout my darkest days unknowingly helping save me.. ❤️
I could have read this book in one day. But, is to be savored, letting the words on every page sink in. I wish I could have had this years ago. Thank you, Morgan, for your wise words.
Soul cleansing! Morgan Richard Olivier takes you on an emotional self-help wellness journey that almost wakes you up to realize what your soul, mind, and body need to nourish themselves from the inside out. It blends poetry and encouragement with very short chapters to get the points across clearly.
After reading this book, you immediately want to cleanse your life from all toxic environments, friends, and business. It is that powerful. This book changed my life and the way I now see things forward. I know my worth, and I have become a better woman in return.
Read this multiple times and it hits me differently each time. So so good, huge fan of her writing style and I love that it’s faith based. So many things in this were so relatable & it made me emotional while reading but also felt so comforting at the same time. If I could give more than 5 stars I would :)
A lot of these poems really resonated with me. I think this came to me at the perfect time and I read it exactly when I needed to especially with the year I have had in 2023. It has helped me through some dark times and helped me realize my inner strength.
