A brazen abduction. When the mayor’s son is boldly abducted while leaving the gym, the mayor demands results. Special Agent Dakarai Lakes and his team quickly learn that the abduction isn’t an isolated incident as more people are taken.

A deceptive reappearance. Special Agent Kevyn Taylor never thought she’d see the father who abandoned her thirty-five years ago... until he shows up on her doorstep, claiming to know what happened to the mayor’s son. When he vanishes again, the FBI launches an internal investigation, digging into Kevyn’s past… and present.

The victims don’t have much time. The kidnappers are organized and efficient, hinting at a larger ring with black-market ties. With the victim count growing and no discernable motive, the team fights to bring those responsible to justice.

At the center of it all is Kevyn’s father. What he knows might blow open the whole investigation, but they have to locate him first. The faceless stranger is as elusive as the fog. Why is he so difficult to find? Is he a victim? Or a villain?

Faceless, the riveting second book in the Sinister Secrets trilogy, is a clean novel of Christian suspense that explores the power of forgiveness and second chances. Pick up your copy today!

Will FBI agents Kevyn and Dak be able to find abducted Jason Boggess before it's to late?

You won't want to put this book down until you've reached the last page. The mayor's son, Jason Boggess, has disappeared. Security cameras show him being boldly and quickly abducted, but leaving no trail as to who and why. As Kevyn and Dak and the rest of the team are trying to track down clues, two more people are abducted. But what ties them all together? The clock is ticking. Dak approaches God first before making important decisions. Kevyn doesn't know how to have that kind of faith. And now her father, who has been MIA her whole life, shows up on her doorstep, creating even more turmoil. Can she face her past, find her faith, and figure out this case without being killed?

Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! Kevin is a very unique FBI agent. She has a few unique qualities. If you want to see them in action, you need to read the book. Yes, Kevin is a woman. That is just the tip of what makes her unique. Also, there are some major changes in her life, but in order for them to make sense, you need to read the first book in the series. I guarantee, he will not be disappointed. The author does a wonderful job of blending Christian values with modern day excitement. The suspense level is very high in this book!

I am loving this series and this book is a good one like the first one in the series. I am always hesitant to try out new to me authors because if I don’t like their style then I feel like I have wasted my time. But when I hit on one I like then I am thrilled. This book is a continuation of Dak and Kevyn and their FBI team with a new case to solve. This one includes Kev’s long lost father. I believe you will enjoy this story like I have. Pure suspense, no romance.

Definitely a Must read

Great sequel to Nameless!! While it could be read as a standalone, I would definitely recommend reading the Nameless first so that you can understand the characters better. Really liked all the twists and turns and I really, really LOVED digging into Kevyn's past (she is my favorite character in the series). Overall, I rate the book 5out of 5 stars and can't wait to get started on the final book in the series.

Solid Second Entry

While not as gripping as Nameless — the first book in this series, there is still plenty of action and enough emotional payoff to keep you turning the pages. The characters are are given more depth as the story continues and the relationship between Dak and Kevyn is growing stronger. All more than enough reason to follow this duo into the next book in the series.

This Thriller is a captivating stand-alone but better experienced after reading Book 1 in the Sinister Secrets series. I really like the lead characters. It was highly entertaining to discover more of their interesting personalities and interpersonal relationships.

fabulously exciting book

The twists and turns could not be topped. Mystery, guidance from above and beside her, the main character really delved into a confusing element with her absent father, all while saving others along the way.
I can’t wait to read the next book.
