After his fiancée leaves him for a cowboy, a ranching job might be just what William Bennett needs. Single-mom-to-be Grace Duncan promises to show him the ropes, but she seems to like William just the way he is as a suit-wearing city guy. As their friendship deepens while he helps her keep her pregnancy under wraps, will her other secret destroy their growing bond?
From Harlequin Love Uplifting stories of faith, forgiveness and hope.
A self-professed crazy chicken lady, Danica Favorite loves the adventure of living a creative life. She loves to explore the depths of human nature and follow people on the journey to happily ever after. Though the journey is often bumpy, those bumps are what refine imperfect characters as they live the life God created them for. Oops, that just spoiled the ending of all of Danica’s stories. Then again, getting there is all the fun.
I like to read a Danica Favorite book! She has good , strong characters and heartwarming stories. Grace Duncan comes home to the Double R Ranch, single, pregnant, and without a job. William Bennett, reluctantly comes to meet the grandfather he never knew he had. His fiancé left him for a cowboy, so he decides he needs to learn how to be a cowboy in order to attract, and keep, a woman. He asks Grace to help him become a cowboy, she tries to tell him that he is fine as he is. The importance of giving and receiving forgiveness, and realizing you are enough, for yourself, for others, and especially to God, sums up my feelings after reading this story. This is a good story.
