A planet slowly rotates, one side perpetual sunlight the other perpetual darkness.

Between these two sides lies the Divide, and the ancient city of Skala, the seat of humanity s high council. Skala is slipping inexorably west from the divide into the harsh desert of Hellinar and to its death.

Over 1000km east, another city is on the verge of its birth, created with the aid of two ancient artificial intelligence cores.

When one of the cores goes missing, a series of revealing events triggers, hinting at something rotten, and deeply linked to the founding of the new city.

The loss of the core can t be kept under wraps forever soon a plan is put into place forcing the rapid completion of an advanced exploratory vehicle that may be the only hope of a recovery.

Trinity is a story of family, forgotten history, advancing technology and a twisting series of events. Follow a collection of rich characters on interconnecting paths to re-discover the truth about their small, isolationist civilisation and something far bigger than any of them could have imagined

Trinity by Patrick Morgan & David Kidger was an inventive and surprising scifi/fantasy. I knew this book would be something I’d enjoy because of the genre, but this was an amazing novel. I’m so excited, I can’t wait until the end to tell you this is a 5 star read.

The world building is rich. One of my favorite qualities of scifi/fantasy is the potential for escapism into the story. This is what happens in Trinity. I felt like I was part of the story, witnessing the events unfold in front of my eyes.

Twists and turns await you when you start reading this book. It was not possible for me to set this down because I was absolutely hooked. I could rant and rave all day, but my advice is to buy yourself a copy and get reading!

Packs a lot of action right from the very start, the world building is amazing , and so is the story line .
What I loved about it:
The story line
The way the author brings his characters to live as will as his world .
The Descriptions that he brings to live as well and the drawings that you see if the builds , and towns
There so much about this story I loved that I don't want to give anything away.

"Trinity" is a very enjoyable read that is filled with energy, fresh concepts, and some brilliant writing. There is a well-built world populated with solid and interesting characters. The plot is a very good one. I was very grateful for the accompanying illustrations which did a wonderful job of helping me to picture the setting. Looking forward to book 2!

This story line was so unexpected I was not ready to be drawn in by the very first page but I was hooked and didn’t want to put it down. I also liked the unexpected drawings throughout the story that helps describe and place different areas they were working within. I can’t wait to see how this series continues.

Complex in parts but highly enjoyable and one of the most rewarding books in SiFi. The story and characters build and build as the story progresses right up to the epilogue which slaps you right in the face. For a change, a plot twist I didn't see coming but makes perfect sense. Highly recommended.

I think it has been two years since I read Trinity, but I've only just joined Goodreads! I really enjoyed this book, the depth of the character stories and learning about their world. I am excited for the second book!
