Return to Marigold Island in this heartwarming family saga with a dash of sweet romance!
Watching her sister Angela pursue her passion has inspired Brooke to follow her own dreams.
For years, she’s harbored a secret fantasy of opening up a bakery of her own in Marigold, but maybe it doesn’t have to be just a fantasy. Although starting a new business is a daunting prospect and a lot of work, Brooke finally feels ready to take the leap. Guests at the inn have been raving about her pastries, and her family is behind her all the way, so now she just needs to find the startup capital.
Since she’s been house-sitting for Hunter while he’s in Los Angeles shooting a movie, the two of them have grown even closer. But when the handsome actor offers to invest in her business, Brooke is shocked—not just by his offer, but by her reaction to it.
She should be over the moon, but she finds herself strangely hesitant to accept. Because the truth is, she wants to be more than just Hunter’s business partner… and more than just his friend.
As things get more serious between Grant and Lydia, she plans a surprise birthday party for him. And Travis is back on the dating scene, but he hasn’t found a love connection yet. Still, he can’t seem to stop thinking about his encounter with the pretty realtor who called for help after a break-in at one of her properties.
Winter on Marigold Island can be cold and blustery, but with sweet treats, good food, and the love of family, warmth abounds.
Come dip your toes in the crystal blue waters of Marigold Island, a fictional island town tucked in next to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. This heartwarming and uplifting women’s fiction will take you on a journey of healing, friendship, family, faith, and love.

My thoughts: This was better than the last book in some ways but overall not as good. The conflict in the story is becoming a bit too easy to fix and the characters are overly sweet. It does cover a large amount of time, I think I'm taking a break from this series but I'm looking forward to returning already.
Recommend to others: Yes! I'm going to be sad when I'm done with this series.
Brooke dreamed of someday owning her own Bakery, but she was nervous too. Watching her sister, Angela, and Angela’s best friend, Lydia, achieve their dream of opening the Beachside Inn, reinforced Brooke’s determine to make that dream come true.
With everything going well with the deserts that Brooke made for the Beachside Inn and her sales at the Farmer’s Market, Brooke felt it was time to get a business plan together and look for Bakery space. Brook’s friendship with Hunter was also growing. She really enjoyed talking to him.

Book three in the series focuses on Brooke and fulfilling her dreams. "Watching her sister Angela pursue her passion has inspired Brooke to follow her own dreams. I literally zoomed through this book. Very tender love stories and the hints of a new coupling render this book very readable. The "friend" connection between Hunter the movie star and Brooke the baker turns into much more. Brooke's new bakery proves to be an exhausting effort to get off the ground, but a fulfillment of a long-time dream. Well-written and interesting, I recommend this book and as usual, look forward to the next book in the series.
Fro the very first reading of Beachside in and continuing through Beachside Beginnings and now Beachside Promises. t he author has developed each character into a solid person with hopes and dreams, sorrows and joys that make the very real to me.. how they deaf ,wyand the changes in their lives very interesting. I can, can,to start the next Inn story and feel the warmth and joy to come.
It's great to see the happenings on Marigold Island. Brooke's Bakery and here relationship with Hunter are coming along nicely. And I caught a glimpse of something happening with Travis and Jennifer I think. It was also good to catch up with Lydia and Grant and Angela and Patrick. Beachside Promises is a nice heartwarming story. Fans of women's fiction should love it.
Love this series! Delightful characters, real lives with problems, supporting friends, and positive outlook provide a satisfying reading experience! Definitely, read the books in order because of the developing relations , and ongoing and connected events and situations!
I really am enjoying this series. OH, I can only hope the rest of the stories are as good!! I do not want anything bad to happen to any of my friends. Oops, did I say friends??? I meant to say characters!!! See how you can just get pulled right in?? I know it's not rocket science, but the Inn is a great read!!! HAPPY READING!!! ENJOY!!! MARY C
I love to get into a series of novels like this, and look forward to the next book in the series. I become attached to the characters and like to watch how their personalitys expand to meet new situations. A beautiful love story of three women as the face new challenges in their lives.
A sweet, clean happily ever after starring Brooke and Hunter, as well as the rest of the Marigold Island gang. What a beautiful setting, excellent cast of characters and writing that makes you wish you could drop into the Beachside Inn or Brooke's Bakery. Can't wait to see what comes next.
As with the previous books in this series, it continues the stories from Marigold Island. Love the dynamics of the characters. The town feels like one you'd like to visit, and the characters are becoming friends... Thankfully, she is continuing the series!!!
The story line is decent. Similar to a lot of what’s out there now. Characters are always saying “yeah” and lots of “!” used. It’s not awful but not great or noteworthy either.
Book 3 of the Marigold Island series. In this book we get to know Angela' s sister Brooke better. Brooke dreams of opening a bakery one day. She has been baking for the Beachside Inn.
The continuing story of all the women is fun to follow. I am looking forward to book 4. I am getting tired of all the "snorts". There has to be a better word to take its place.
As always I found it entertaining to read. I of course love the entire family in the past books. I recommend it every one who likes clean reading. I'm ready for the next one.
I love the way this third book picks right up where the second book left off! The characters are quickly becoming my friends and I'm so excited to start book four.
This will be my last book I read in this serious. I thought maybe the stories would get more in depth but the story lines were so boring- plus every outcome is so perfect! Very uneventful and predictable. No plot what so ever.
This series has me wanting to visit the east coast. I am not sure if Marigold actually exists, but this series has me wanting to look for it. It’s an easy feel good book, that helped me forget about the Chaos outside.
Brooke had a dream of opening her own bakery in this cute beach side town of Marigold. We also see a relationship build between Brooke and Hunter. Fiona has many stories going to keep your interest in this fun beach read....so keep turning the pages.
I liked pretty much everything about the books in this series and I'm looking forward to the next Marigold Island, book 3! If it had a little more spice they would be perfect!
