Authenticity: Finding Peace in a Noisy World
In today's fast-paced, politically charged, social-media-driven world, it is nearly impossible to find truth in the world around us, let alone within. Follow the author as she explores how authenticity affects every aspect of our lives, and how her own experiences shaped her understanding of what it means to be truly authentic.
Funny, poignant, sometimes sad, this relatable series of essays will certainly hit home.

Honest, inspiring considerations, born and expressed from the heart of a person who actively seeks to make sense of their existence. Reading them confronts the reader's own beliefs and decisions, albeit in a positive and generous way.
______________
Consideraciones honestas e inspiradoras, nacidas y expresadas desde el corazón de una persona que busca activamente darle sentido a su existencia. Leerlas confronta las propias creencias y decisiones del lector, aunque de una manera positiva y generosa.

I was deeply moved by how open and honest the author was about discussing the most painful details of her life. I identified with the aspects of her journey that related to chronic illness, depression, divorce, and fertility issues.
It is a small book which I read in one sitting with a nice cup of tea. In the end it gives you action steps to fuel your own journey into weeding out anything in your life that may be an expectation and not an authentic part of your specific life.
I am sure I will go back and walk through each of the steps again when I have time to devote to more intense thought.
In the end I felt closer to the author and her struggles really resonated with me - it was an enjoyable few hours of reading!
