In today's fast-paced, politically charged, social-media-driven world, it is nearly impossible to find truth in the world around us, let alone within. Funny, poignant, sometimes sad, this relatable series of essays will certainly hit home.

I was deeply moved by how open and honest the author was about discussing the most painful details of her life. I identified with the aspects of her journey that related to chronic illness, depression, divorce, and fertility issues.
It is a small book which I read in one sitting with a nice cup of tea. In the end it gives you action steps to fuel your own journey into weeding out anything in your life that may be an expectation and not an authentic part of your specific life.
I am sure I will go back and walk through each of the steps again when I have time to devote to more intense thought.
In the end I felt closer to the author and her struggles really resonated with me - it was an enjoyable few hours of reading!
