Unparalleled... I've read almost all of his works and they each ascend to the heights of their respective genres but this....the scope of what Campbell endeavors to create here is nearly beyond description. It blends (or has potential to blend) neatly every element of horror/supernatural fiction. And as a result it takes a while to develop but wow. The first entry into the series is impressive. Give it a go.
