Charlotte is sick of her family and their expectations. They have controlled her life since she was born but she doesn't want the life that they have planned for her. She has applied for a job across the country and has already arranged to move before she got the job. Charlie is impressed by her determination and hires her. Charlie and Charlotte are attracted to each other but neither is ready for anything more at first. Charlie's secretary becomes a good friend to Charlotte and she is a Little. Charlotte is fascinated about the lifestyle. Her life has been so stressful that a Daddy who would make decisions for her saounds like heaven. A daddy who would care for her no matter what is very different from her family. Charlotte is interested in being a Little but she wants Charlie as her Daddy.

Charlie used to be a Daddy to his wife but after her death he has decided that he can't be a good Daddy to any Little. After all his Little had an addiction to drugs and he couldn't save her. Will Charlotte help him overcome his guilt?

These books are amazing and usually a quick read, I love everything about the story line and when two people come together that are just right for each other but they must let go of there pasts and troubles to move forward. Charlotte is running away from her demanding parents that want her to be a big corporate lawyer and do as they say but she wants a new and different life for herself and as far away from them as possible. Charlie Hubble is looking for a lawyer for his business and when a miss Charlotte Harrington applies he is so shocked that someone like her with her credentials would want to work in his small town business. And than she walk in for her interview and he was blow away by her beauty and class but then sees a valuable side to her that needs a firm hand and he wonders could she be his little and is she into that lifestyle. But after the loss of his wife can he take on a new little when he couldn’t help his wife with her drug problems. Can these two lost souls finally have the life they need and find in each other or do they fail.

This is the story of Charlie and Charlotte. She is a brilliant lawyer that wanted to escape from her parents rules. She was simply tired to get instructions and follow the rules and the expectations of her parents. She decided to leave New York and began a new life in a small town to make her own decisions. Then, she met Charlie, her new boss and the attraction is immediate. He lost her wife for a OD, years ago and since that moment, he did not have a Little One. Even though, Charlotte was not introduced as a "Little"; she was curious after meeting Nancy, Charlie's secretary. She was in that type of relationship and loved. Charlotte wanted Charlie to be "her Daddy" and Charlie wanted Charlotte as "his Little Girl". After demonstrate her capabilities at the office, both decided to began their relationship. This story does not have cliffhangers, nor cheating or big drama. Most likely second chances for both of the main characters. Nice story.

This story is a good one. Since I have been reading Mr. Wylder's stories of DD/LG they have very fascinated me. I never thought about that lifestyle but I can see the fascination with this for these women. I love how the men treat their loving Littles. They never seem to look down upon the women they just want to do for them and protect them. It isn't over the top either. In this one the female is a lawyer in NY but is tired of her family always running her life so she quits her job and moves away so she can do her thing in life. The place she is hired for the man is a Daddy but his last was his wife that who passed away and he felt it was his fault so he was done with being a Daddy. She didn't know about the lifestyle till she became friends with his secretary. Now she had learned and wants him to be her Daddy. Is he willing to try this again with a new Little? How will things work out with these two?

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Charlotte’s parents have been controlling her all her life and just wanted to live, feel free to make her own choices basically be herself. So, she moved to NY small area and try to live free of judgement and then she meets the sexy Charlie, her boss, and the intense pull he feels each time he just looks at her is so strong she brings out the daddy in him and he brings out the little in her. Will they or can they make it work as daddy and little girl, is Charlotte strong enough on her own outside of her parents judgement and is there a HEA for them?

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Charlotte and Charlie. Charlotte is a lawyer from New York who quit her job to move to a small town and take a new job as a real estate lawyer for Charlie. Charlotte is overqualified for the job, but she wants it and she wants a new start from the pressure of everyone always telling her what to do. Charlie is a Daddy but his wife died a few years ago and he feels like it was his fault. Charlie wants Charlotte but thinks he doesn't deserve her. Charlotte learns about Daddies and littles and wants that with Charlie. They both have to be willing to take the chance on a relationship that could lead to happiness for them. I liked this book, I like Charlotte. She was a strong woman who finally decided what she wanted and decided to get it. Charlie was a good guy and i think he would make her happy.

Very nice strong female role for Charlotte. She is finally breaking free of her parent's shadow after being pushed around her whole life and becoming a lawyer at their requirement. She likes law, but does not want to be pushed around any more and moves across the country to figure out who she really is and what she really wants out of life. She is lucky when she gets a job she loves working as a lawyer with people she likes and respects. She learns a lot about herself, about daddy/little relationships, and gains several good friends while falling in love. Very nice short story that is well written. I would love for this to be written into a longer full length book because the characters feel very real and relatable.

Charlotte moves to the Rockies and meets Charlie her new boss.
Charlotte moves to the Rockies to get away from New York and her friends and family. For as long as she can remember her parents have pushed and pulled her into the path they have planned for her and now she just wants to get away. As a highly qualified lawyer she applies for a job that she is over qualified for and is hoping to get the job working for Charlie who since she looked him up she has been fantasizing about. Charlie had seen how qualified Charlotte was but was surprised by her beauty and hope she will be the one to fill the hole in his life left by his late wife.

Charlotte is a top notch attorney in NYC who is tired of trying to fulfil her parents expectations. She drops her life in NYC and heads to a small town to give herself at least six months to be her own woman. Charlie is over his head in legal details and desperately needs help but Charlotte's resume is almost overwhelming and he's worried about why she would want the small time job he has to offer. He was ready to hire her before he met her but the instant attraction makes him question his life choice. This is a wonderfully written story with engaging characters, a quirky plot and enough heat for these cool spring nights. She is a broken and damaged little angel, and he is a strong, powerful, and handsome protector. Destiny brings them together. Will she be able to keep them together? Is happiness ever after a possibility? You must read this book to find out.

Once again Mr. Wylder penned an enjoyable romance story. He included the five basic elements of a romance—a sympathetic heroine, a strong irresistible hero, emotional tension, believable plot, and a HEA ending. I appreciate the way Mr. Wylder uses literary devices like dialog to help the reader observe genuine emotion his characters experience. His descriptive scenes are vivid and pull his readers into their romantic journey. Nice job, Mr. Wylder!

Rising From The Depths Of Despair -
Charlotte left her home and high powered job in New York to get away from her controlling parents and to try to find her true self and what she found was bliss, stability, happiness and true love. Charlie had been drifting since his loss, but the spark he felt after meeting Charlotte the first time, lit a fire under him to start living again. This short story has got some serious heat and you just won’t be able to help yourself, but fall in love with Charlotte and Charlie. Take a walk on the wild side and get this book.

Charlotte loved the way Charlie just naturally fell into guiding and directing her. After her issues with her parents, she needed to feel self-assurance, protected and accepted for her decisions. Charlie was helping her to change how she saw herself and she was happy to let him make the decisions and be responsible for everything. After his bad experience Charlie had been holding off his Daddy's ways but Charlotte was perfect for him. Liked how Charlie dealt with Charlotte's insecurities. Therapy time for her! Interesting, motivating, entertaining and lot of heated passion. Voluntarily reviewed this copy that I received free from Booksprout and I liked.

Daddy's Submissive Little by Scott Wylder was a quick and steamy story sure to please. Its book 2 in the Wounded Daddies series but can be read by itself. But I will definitely read the first book. Charlie and Charlotte had amazing chemistry that could not be denied. Being with Charlie, Charlotte is finally able to be the person she has always wanted to be. Charlotte left her controlling parents and the big city looking for a fresh start and finds so much more when she finds Charlie, her Daddy Dom. And after a tragic loss years ago, Charlie is able to move on and find love again. I definitely recommend this 5 star read!

Charlotte is a lawyer that graduated at the top of her classes. Her parents have controlled her all her life and she wants to be able to make her own decisions. She gets hired by Charlie's company and she's attracted to him right away. Charlie is very attracted to Charlotte but he lost his wife and he scared of getting involved again. Charlotte and Charlie's journey is intriguing as Charlotte has always been different and she wants to live the "Little" life style with Charlie. Absolutely good story. Just wish they were longer. Charlotte runs away at the slightest sign of trouble and works for Charlie where she fantasises about him constantly knowing that he could never go for someone as broken as her. Charlie knows that he has never met anyone as beautiful, brilliant or sexy as her. He wants her and would love her to call him Daddy but when he tried that before it ended in tragedy.

This was quite a nice novella with the brilliant Charlotte and the hesitant Charlie. It was great to have a supportive cast of people around them and I was glad when Charlie stopped finding reasons not to be her Daddy. I nice HEA at the end of this DDLG story.

this was a great short read with an amazing bunch of characters and fun story that will keep you interested. as well as plenty of emotion and steam!

I like chemistry and attraction that comes as a total surprise and these two surprised each other. Charlie and Charlotte's story was fast paced, steamy, and well thought out. Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. This story is of Charlotte and Charlie. Charlotte is doing a great job but what she really wants is Charlie. The story was too short. There was no character development. The story was one note and was over just as I was getting into it.

This is a quick read that is entertaining. For someone who was so unsure of herself, Charlotte initiated a kiss and later sex with Charlie early on in her new job and I found it hard to believe considering her insecurity issues. Other than that, I enjoyed the story.

This was a quick read, but it was still very much enjoyable to read. Charlie does not believe he deserves a happily ever after because of his past, Charlotte is running away from her oppressive parents. Both Charlie and Charlotte first fight their attraction, but the effort is futile.
