This first portion is from my review of Obey - Lesson One and gives a little background...., but it is highly suggested that you read this series in order. They are not stand-alone books and are all about Juliette and her lessons to become the perfect wife.
Juliette comes from a long line of the elite rich. Rich beyond any imagination. And in this world, there are secrets and marriages are alliances.
Juliette has been promised in marriage for as long as she can remember even though she's never seen his face or even know his name. Her whole life she has been schooled to be his perfect wife.
Her father calls her to him and tells her that her husband sent her a gift. Although he isn't her husband yet. She has just turned twenty-one and is impatient to finally meet her soon-to-be husband and plan her wedding.
But the gift has conditions. She is to be sent for erotic training. When she arrives the next day at the appointed address there is no one in the conference room. Just a silver tray with a note telling her to remove her panties, put them on the tray, lean with her elbows on either side of the tray with the note between her teeth.
But she got tired of waiting and after thirty minutes got out of position and started to investigate the room. Which is how he found her. Her instructor. Who demanded she call him Master. Who told her she failed the test in obedience.
Master is a gorgeous man with dark hair and striking green eyes whose presence takes over the room. She finds out that she has to pass Lesson One to get to the next lesson. Not only does he not disclose his name, but he also gives her no information on the lessons or the name of her husband-to-be who ordered these lessons.
Lessons to become his toy.
Lesson One is on obedience. She is sent to a famous Russian ballet studio for her first lessons. After weeks and weeks of training under Vlad, she finally understands the purpose of these sessions with him. It would make things a lot easier if she was told what they wanted from the beginning.
In Lesson Two, Juliette is sent to the famous painter Antoine, who again gives her no clue as to what he is looking for.
When she questions Master about what she is being asked to do she is told to obey Antoine the way she would obey him. He said she was being made into a toy, and it didn’t matter who played with her before her husband. This was what her husband requested.
Juliette understands that her husband wants her trained a certain way to be his wife, but doesn't understand why he is having someone else do the training and not doing the training himself.
Why doesn't he mind and even request in these lessons that she is touched by other men?
I love this book. This book is very well written and the characters are very relatable. The authors have drawn me into the story as if I was there alongside Jane supporting Juliette through all her confusion. We are also starting to follow Jane in her relationship challenges with Bruce.
The one connecting element to these books is Master. Juliette is willing to do anything to get his approval. She knows that he is not hers and will never be hers and feels guilty for her feelings for him when she is promised to someone else.
Things only get more confusing for Juliette. Just when she thinks she's making headway in these lessons, she finds out that she is far off the mark. She is determined not to fail. She has never failed in her life.
We are no closer to the identity of the mysterious 'Client' who is paying for these lessons. Looking forward to Lesson Three and where it will take us.
Highly recommend. This book is a dark romance and is HIGHLY erotic. If you have triggers beware, but if not enjoy!

I am obsessed with the journey Juliette is on. This one was even hotter than book one - which I didn’t think was possible 🔥🔥 These lessons are such beautiful submission and deliciously dirty.
Master is the PERFECT character. He intrigues me, infuriates me and I freaking love it!
That ending!!! Cannot wait for the next instalment.

Juliette’s newest lesson is fire and I’m looking forward to the next one. She can really come across as bratty at times but this quick little read really keeps you engaged

Whew!!!! Another lesson, another test is all planned for Juliette. But this time it might not be as easy as she would have thought it would be initially.
Juliette is introduced to a French painter, Antoine, who is a very in demand painter for his clients. She thinks this will be done quickly but when she sees the type of work he does. She is not sure she will be able to it.
The painter is downright dirty and paints very intimate and baring paintings of his client's muses. His process involves literally getting into all her intimate personal business. But Juliette is doubtful, uneasy as this all is very confusing to her.
Honestly, at times I was irked thinking why she was been made to go through the things she did, even though she liked it, I was not in favour of her being treated like toy.
But then I was also feeling conflicted just like Juliette, as to my feelings of still being super curious and wanting to find out the real purpose behind her lessons and wanting to meet her mystery man.
This book was downright filthy and a progress in Juliette's journey of intimacy. But also Jane, her friend and Bruce are totally giving competition in raising the heat levels for sure.

Master Class is a series of short serial novels. I believe the author is planning on 10 short books and so far, the first 3 are released.
In book 1, we met Juliette who has excelled in everything she has studied and is ready to embark on her arranged marriage, but she learns that her future husband who she has never met wants her to take one more series of classes before their wedding. In this book she meets the master who is to ensure she is trained to her future husbands’ specifications.
In book 2, Juliette’s journey continues when she is painted by a famous artist. She continues to be challenged by the lesson she is to learn and when it is apparent she is failing, her Master has a lesson for her.
Overall, I’m not a huge fan of these serials as I really want to read them faster than the author typically publishes them. But I am enjoying the lessons so far and I can’t wait to see what else she has to learn to be the perfect wife. Who really is Master? Who is her husband to be? So many questions!!!

So this is book two in a ten part series, and we pick up right where book one left us.
Juliette is given another lesson by her soon to be husband through her Master, again Juliette is pushed to her limits within the lesson and we really see progression within her in this book even though at times I wanna shake her but you definitely feel her frustration with not knowing what's gonna happen next, not knowing who all these men are in her life, and still not knowing who her husband's gonna be!!!!
Master is very closed off character but I suppose he has to be as we the reader are on this ride as much as Juliette is, so we've also got to wait to see what delights she has to go through!!! I'm really enjoying this series so far and I can't wait to read all about Juliette's next lesson. What will become of her by the end of these lessons? Will she ever get to meet this infamous husband to be of hers? I cannot wait to read the next installment!!!!

So Tempt: Lesson #2...I liked this one a bit better than I liked Obey: Lesson #1. I'm still a bit hesitant about this series, but I will admit that I was a bit more intrigued reading Tempt. Like Juliette, I was a bit in the dark about exactly what she was supposed to be learning here. I'm sure there were a few things, but I could feel her frustrations jumping off the pages. I don't think she really got what the point was here. At times, neither did I. Nevertheless, I kept reading. It's definitely a titillating read, I'll give you that. I'm very intrigued by her "Master". He speaks to me, LOL. I'll keep reading just to figure out exactly who he is, what he's really up to, and how he got that gig! I'll be reading on to Take: Lesson #3.

In part two of the Master Class series, we see Juliette begin a new piece of her training. She begins working with a French painter on a erotic piece of art showcasing her.
Despite her best efforts, things seem to fall flat. She doesn’t give up though. She is given another chance to redeem herself.
We also see her interaction with “Master” more often. It really has me considering if he himself is her soon to be husband. 🤔🤔🤔. At the very least I’m wondering if he won’t steal her away.

What a set of short stories this series is becoming. How hot can we get. This is a very erotic read. Juliette has been sent for her second task of being tested in Patience. She has been sent to a Erotic painter names Antoine and he puts her through her paces. Oh course she fails badly the first time. This second book is very steamy and full of steamy scenes. The book is very intriguing and keeps you guessing. Who is Master and who is he working for. So many questions just waiting for the answers.

Another lesson for Juliette and it stays FIRE!! I am loving the steam from these books so far. Master is teaching her for her mystery future husband and the sessions are wow. I love a quick hot read and this series is doing it right so far. Juliette’s attitude has improved, my hope is as we get through more books she will be better. I know, she’s got it rough, it’s just a preference in the type of h. Excited for the next one!

Juliette is still on her journey with Master. This book starts is her next lesson. She still wants to be done her lessons like yesterday and is still learning reasoning behind them all. Despite all this the book is definitely hot although I’m not sure if I enjoyed Vlad or Antoine more. But who is Master really???? I’m still trying to understand the connection though between Jane and Bruce to Juliette’s journey. Can’t wait for next installment though!

This is the second book in this series. Juliette is given a new teacher. And artist who specializes in erotic painting. But he paints what he sees. And the painting shows that Juliette is just gritting her teeth and getting through the experience. Master negotiates with Antoine to give her a second chance. Each lesson is pushing Juliette’s boundaries. Can she learn to let go and enjoy each lesson? I can hardly wait to find out.

Do I like Juliette better than in part 1? not really..she is still a brat, expecting everything when she wants it and complaining all the way. I can certainly understand some things better and see her point of view.

Are the stakes getting higher for Juliette? Hard to tell. But the frustration level is certainly inching up - for both Juliette and the reader. These characters are willo the wisps, transparent and unknowable. I'm still intrigued, but I need something to grab onto. I NEED TO KNOW. I love the mystery of it all

Tempt: Lesson Two of the Mast Class Series is just as erotic as the first lesson. Juliette is being taught patience, this time by an artist named Antoine. She almost fails, but M is there to make her see more clearly what is expected of her. Juliette passes with flying colors and cannot wait for her next test, and one step closer to meeting her husband.

This is book 2 in the Master Class series. It continues with Juliette’s lessons on how to become the perfect wife. She moves further into the forbidden and uncomfortable and learns more about her body even though she still has no idea what’s going on day to day. I find myself struggling right along with her at times but also captivated by the one she calls Master.

This is a great book but I didn’t know that each story is basically her learning a new lesson from a news man. I was expecting a book mainly about her and M, so I was disappointed at that. But that doesn’t make this a bad story, if that’s what you’re into then it’s a good read, it’s just not for me.

Juliette learns patience and Master is very strict with this lesson and I am so curious it's killing me. Juliette is learning slowly and I do understand her frustration.
Great characters with alot of heat and leaves you guessing why and how and who is it. I am enjoying it alot.

This was an interesting start to a new series. I'm really on the fence about whether or not I like the main character of Juliette. Every time I start to like her character she does something stupid and immature that doesn't fit with where her character is currently at in the story. Then the switch flips and she's back to being likeable again.
While this irritates me, I believe this is how the book needed to be written. Juliette is only 21 and she's going through this training and expected to not ask any questions. It makes sense that she's going to push back against things. As the books progress her character is going to continue to grow.
I'm excited to see what happens with The Master as the books continue. He's such a mysterious character and their chemistry is fire.

Same plot line ofc, but I’m so intrigued.
