Alexander King is Back!! Recently returned from 'the dead', X is trying to go it alone with his team, and the first problem seems to be from Sam's past, an ex-husband that none of them knew about! Of course this targets Sam with jokes and noise from the team, but X and Kyle are paying attention when they head to his funeral. He seems to be leaving Sam some strange messages from the grave, and although she wants nothing to do with it, X's instincts are aroused and he pressures her to keep going. So of course they find trouble, exactly as Sam told them they would. Then they start running into people attempting to keep them from finding out, and the real fun begins!!

I think this is my least favorite Alexander King book so far. I found the plot and characters hard to follow and thought one guy was another guy at one point and had a hard time keeping it straight. I generally love these books but this one was meh for me.

Book Review - In book four, “Power Move,” of Bradley Wright’s Alexander King series, main character Alexander (Xander) King is showing more and more promise as a ‘top-tier’ protagonist. He and his team of black ops operators no longer work for the CIA. They’ll take an occasional job from the CIA as outside contractors, but they no longer answer to them on a regular basis. They are all well trained in their specialties and are considered an accomplished group of espionage operators. Since leaving the CIA, they have also expanded their team which includes even more very unusual and very unique characters within themselves. The humorous dialogue, the back-in-forth bantering, and the team camaraderie in getting the bad guys was the highlight of this story. Wright continues to out-do himself with each new novel and I am now confirmed as a committed fan to the series. An action-packed, fast-paced, and well plotted out story, Power Move was another fascinating, quick, and very worthwhile read. I’m ‘digging’ this series and looking forward to the next Alexander King adventure!

Its.All Good!!💥
It's always a pleasure when one can visit the resident kick butt save the world hero. Whenever I read a story about Alexander King and his team it is like being on a rollercoaster. This was just as good as the rest,but I believe its just a little better, because we get to see a little more of that human side ,the side that says I'm just a man .The writer throws us into the thick of it and says "grab hold"! The plot might have been a little of the same but we get some real delightful twist and some nail bitting moments. Also we get introduced to new members and I think they will give the series a better outlook to.life as it is happening. n this was stellar writing and storytelling as always. If you have not started or chose a series to read,then this is definitely the one.

I’ve been a Bradley Wright fan since I read his first book and nothing he has written to date has been less than a 4.8 Star read (Yes that’s a “real world rating”.
“Power Move” is no exception and deserves a full 5-star Rating. It is an excellent book. Not only does it read well with a believable plot the ongoing character development is awesome. The character’s have continued to “grow” not only through the series, but also through this book.
I highly recommend this series and this book. You won’t be disappointed (but start with book #1, always a good idea when starting a new, well developed series).

Xander and his team are no longer working with the CIA. They are temporarily free agents much the dismay of the director. He's not happy with them. Xander brings to the directors attention that some of his agents may be compromised. Then a known major narcotics mover who also dabbles in weaponry, and other nefarious deeds and another player Decide to go to war against Xander and another friend d of his. Suit cast type nuclear bombs come into play in America. Non stop action!!! Another excellent read in this series!! Enjoyed immensely!!

I had finished the first 4 novels in this series with Alexander as the main protagonist. I have to admit that I am impressed by this young author from Lexington, Kentucky. I kind of enjoy action / thriller series' and find this story teller Bradley Wright has what it takes to join some of my other favorite authors. Full of action and thrilling timing to the last seconds in his conquests, Alexander is a new hero that deserves to be read. Loved it and can't wait till December to read #5 in the series.

another fantastic story
Brad Wright is truly an amazing writer and keeps you on the edge of your seat almost to the last page. His character Alexander King is a bad ass special forces (add more adjectives here) guy with a conscience and a great group of bad-ass friends. His writing is smooth and easy to follow and, while he builds up his characters well, you don’t need a play list to figure out who’s who. Also living in Lexington KY, I enjoy the references. Start on book 1 and continue to the end of the series! Great job Brad!!

Alexander King is at it again along with his associates, Sam and Kyle.
Sam’s ex-husband sending cryptic messages from the grave. Does that have anything to to with the secret list of agents floating around.
Who are the ex’s cohorts chasing after X and Sam? That is all part of the fun of reading an Alexander King book. You never know what is going to happen.
If you are a first time reader, I would go back to the very beginning so you enjoy the story more.

relentlessly thrilling
I ve read all 4 books in the series in the last two days because I couldn’t put them down! Explosive right off the block this author keeps the convoluted story rolling at such a pace you just have to know how it ends. Great characters good guys and bad, with King and Sam running the show can the bad guy really win? Epic action , all the ingredients for a great read.

good but too James Bondesque
So this book is actually a 3.5. I will still read the rest but the author needs to be original and should also think things through.
12 seconds left. The panic attacks and the running into the arms of the girl. Please! Made me sick.
author should read some books by the masters like Ludlum, Forsythe and Follett and learn trade craft and stop trying so hard to be silly Hollywood. Brad, pro’s don’t panic or let anger cloud judgment.

OMG!!!!!! What an awesome book.
This is the fourth book in this series, and I think the best by far. The introduction of new characters, and the excitement of the interaction never stops. I read this book in one day, I couldn't put it down. Even stayed up past my bedtime to finish it. LOL!!!??

Does not disappoint!
As expected, all action and no filler! Even the back stories are not drawn out and tied to the main story. I love the interaction between X, Sam, Kyle and now O. Awesome ending and setup for the next book (already pre-ordered). Well done! 😁 💕

Non stop action!

Well done
Of all the Alexander King books, after he died, this is the best. Well done action, mystery, and especially suspense. I did not enjoy the other books as much and almost gave up on this series. But, this book has definitely drug me back in. Awesome story.

Just as Good
Fantastic series! I'm glad to find a protagonist as interesting and capable as Jack Reacher. I thoroughly enjoyed every book in the series. And look forward to reading the next.

X back at it
I always enjoy Xander King novels. They are like a movie just sit back watch and enjoy. I don’t get critical don’t look for errors etc but if you want a fun book this is the series for you

I finished reading all the four books and have enjoyed the adventures of ex. Really liked the new friendship he made with juice and the MI5 agent Natalie I think that was her name I hate it when I forget all the names and I just read the book

This series is truly awesome! Love the characters and the storyline of each book. Especially since I’m a KY boy and I enjoy the amazing gift from the good Lord of the fine KY spirits…bourbon. The X series is a MUST read!!

The usual thing
Which is okay in my book (no pun intended). Well except for the soppy stuff at the end. I can certainly do without that! It all goes by so quickly that I'm at the end before I know it. I know they are all a bit gung-ho but they are great to read.

Excellent read. The pulse pounding ending I have come to expect. Reads like an action movie which I really enjoy. I always seem to take a star away because almost every book has some sort of typo that could use better editing other than that it’s always a great plot and fun to read.

This was the best so far of the Alexander King series. Bradley Wright creates and describes characters so you can see them in your minds eye. And unlike too many authors, his characters have flaws.

Number four did not hold anything back number 3, 2, or 1 for that matter. want to book 5. I know it’s a good read and very well written when that lump forms in your throat.

Another in the Alexander King series that is fast paced and will have you guessing. New and old characters are in the mix. Something special at the end. Won’t say though to spoil anything. Recommended reading for Alexander Ling fans.
