Lily and the gang are back and on their way to stop the war between the two factions in the Underground City . With Tallis on one side and Lily on the other side . They are also still coming to terms with what happened between Lily . Tallis and Asterion after they finally got together . Will they be able to come to terms with what has happened while trying to stop the ultimate fight that are occurring .
Ok here we go I am going to say that book eleven has been the funniest book in the series . Lily is finally coming into her full powers and is stronger then ever . She is on one side of the fight and Tallis is on the other side . Tallis well he is fighting hard to not let what happened get in his mind. He is still the sexy Scotsman who will melt your heart and fight for those he loves Bill is off helping them fighting his own fight along side them . I truly love these characters and the way they have grown and become more complex with each book. We do get to meet some new characters and well they are gangsters and well Anne Franks makes an appearance to help everyone out .
This is such a fun read , the author takes us back to gangsters and gangland fights with tommy guns and classic gangster warfare . Lily is still the center of the story but it just becomes more fun as you read. The author takes us on another epic adventure . The story seems to just have a life of its own. I will warn you the first chapter has an awesome sex scene in it so don't be put off . Just keep reading and enjoying Lily and the gang. I read this book in a day and couldn't put it down . So if you want a fun series to read check out the Lily Harper series .

The time to fulfill the prophecy and let loose Lily’s powers has finally come. The tryst was enjoyed by all but is not without some emotional baggage. Baggage needing to be dealt with so Lily, Tallis, and Asterion can move forward. Except, as they traverse the Underground City, the group who also includes Ariadne, gets ambushed and two members are taken. As the two groups wage war against one another, Lily and Tallis end up on opposing sides.
Lily is a strong character, rolling with the hand she's been dealt. Her ability to stay level-headed (most of the time) while on a rescue mission and being on the opposite side of two warring groups than Tallis, show the excellence of her character. Tallis is a broody Scotsman but his feelings for Lily are quite evident and his presence has a soothing effect on Lily. He shows a bit more emotion in Fire Down Below, stemming from the action to release Lily’s powers. Bill, Lily’s foul-mouthed guardian angel, is a hoot. His mishmash of the English language has me laughing out loud and shaking my head. Asterion is a fantastic character. He pines for Lily but even when the love for Tallis is evident, Asterion has her back and will defend her with his life. Each character is well-written and complex.

I may not have started at the beginning of the series, but I have been able to move through the pages and everything about the books I have read have fallen into place. The author does a wonderful job providing some details from previous events to aid in keeping the reader abreast with the story.

Lily has done the ceremony that is supposed to unite her with her self. She doesn't feel like it more connected. Lily and the others discover her aunt took the forge to unknown locations. They will have to try to another portal to meet up with others. Lily and the others will be attacked in the town they are passing through. Lily will have to work to someone in order to try to get some of her friends back.
This is just some of what happen, there is so much more for you to discovery. The author draws in the story of Lily and what she is dealing with. You will thoroughly enjoy the story and want the next book when you are done.

The love triangle is finally consummated in effort to release Lily's powers. When her powers do not show themselves immediately, questions resume. The issue all long, which continues, is that all genuinely care for each other and fear losing the other. Lily seems very torn with her emotions throughout the book. Interesting historic figures are featured in this installment and add to the story.

The battle for greater good
Lily, Tallis and Bill are battling against two factions, each seeking to rule. With Lily coming into her powers, will she be able to master them, free her friends and escape the Underground? Her love of Tallis only deepens and her capacity to defeat evil grows stronger. I love this series full.

This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was fast-paced and held my interest. This book can be read as a standalone story, though it is #11 in the Lily Harper series. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books in this series.

Another great book in this series! Lily never disappoints! Quite a bit spicy right at the beginning! Alway a whirlwind adventure kind of story, well worth the read!

Another brilliant read

Finally!! Finally!! Finally!! That's what I've been screaming since reading this installment. We all know Mallory loves a slow burn and poor Lily was no exception but finally we get some nookie between Lily, Tallis and Asterion! Of course it wouldn't be a Lily Harper story without a whirlwind adventure involved. This installment is a must read!
