So, I read the first book in this series (in September 2016) and was so pissed off because I got to end and found out it was a CLIFFHANGER so I put off reading the second one because of my fit of pique. Well, I got over my anger and read the other one today and I loved it, although I knew I would. I’m crazy about paranormal romances.

This one was about the gathering of Ethan and Brea, Xtina and Mike (from the first book) and Jesse and Jacob. And let’s not forget about Brea’s mother who was supposed to be dead and the father who lied to her her whole life, and Jessie’s parents who left town when Jessie was only 13 years old, leaving her there to take care of herself. And Ethan, who was shot in the shoulder while on an op and went home to recoup and within 2 weeks he was completely healed. There was always something going on in this book.

I’m looking forward to starting the next book.

There were explicit sex sceneS but there was no swearing to speak of.

As to the narration: I gave Roy Samuelson 2 stars for his narration of book one but he gets a 4 star this time, only because his female voices were soooo much better in this book. His emotions still need work but he’s getting there.

A sizzling paranormal mystery that will have you on the edge of your seat! You absolutely must read this series, this is book 2 in the series, if you like a good paranormal mystery or if you like a bit of sizzling romance as this book checks both of those items on the list! While this is not a genre that I would normally gravitate towards, this series has been a great find for me. I rarely hand out 5 star ratings, but feel that it is indeed warranted with this book as it continues the series in a reasonable manner with intriguing twists and fantastic character interaction. The author has woven an intriguing tale of 6 people who seem only quasi-connected, but are indeed very much connected to each other and their futures depend on the 6 of them working together towards a common goal. Some of them accept and use their gifts, while others are still trying to come to grips with the gifts that they were given as well as figure out exactly how to use them. The characters are extremely well developed and while the romance story in this book seems expedited, it makes sense with the storyline and actually enhances the connection between the characters and their unique talents. This is one series where it really is important to start with the first book, then read this one to truly follow the story closely. I personally will be impatiently waiting for the next book in the series to be published!

THE BECKONING (Entangled #2)
AUTHOR: JILL SANDERS

FIVE STARS

Jill Sanders is one of my all-time favorite authors. She is such a talented author with a phenomenal expertise of creating magnificent characters and intriguing story lines. THE BECKONING is the second book in her ENTANGLED SERIES and it is awesome just like all her other books. You can’t go wrong with a book by Jill.

It was exciting to see what happened to the characters from THE AWAKENING (Entangled #1). Brea and Ethan are introduced in THE BECKONING. Brea has been going through quite a rough patch and now she is plagued with events she can’t understand. She has been having dreams about a man she doesn’t know and waking up in strange places. She is so confused and can’t decide if they are dreams or in fact real.

Ethan has also been having disturbing dreams about a woman. When Brea and Ethan meet, they immediately feel like they know each other because of their dreams. There are lots of twists and turns you don’t want to miss. Jill will keep you drawn in until the very last word.

Great, great story! Be sure and read THE AWAKENING first. It will give you all the background information you will need.

I love Jill Sanders and her Pride Series is one of top favorites. And now nothing like going to the other extreme of enjoying a mystery, psychic powers and a series that leaves us with goose bumps and more questions than answers.

“The Beckoning” is book 2 in her Entangled Series, continues the mystery surrounding Hidden Creek, Georgia. Breanna seems to be waking up in places that she’s never been to and seeing events that may happen in the future. Visions of Ethan and with an excuse to use her investigative journalism to research some occurrences, Brea ends up in Hidden Creek. And the mystery, the eerie events, and the past that seems to flow into the present, only makes this story even more intriguing and captivating.

Make sure that the series is read in sequence starting with “The Awakening” as all the characters are connected by the central plot of the series…. a disappearance and the events that seem to bring all the characters together, including the parents. With individual love stories incorporated into the main plot, Jill Sanders keeps the narration thrilling and totally spine-chilling.

Received an ARC from the author/publisher for an honest review.

Brea's life had recently been turned upside down, everything was changing. She had caught her boyfriend cheating, they had split, her job was on the line and she was having strange dreams when both asleep and even awake!

Brea has been dreaming about a tall brown eyed sexy man for a while, and he felt very real, but her dreams and what felt like flashes of the past and future were getting stronger and more frequent.

Ethan has been dreaming about a woman with blonde hair and silver eyes, and there is something special about her. His "flashes" are worrying him and disturbing his concentration.

When Brea and Ethan finally meet they feel like they already know each other but how can that be?

A good story, a bit confusing at times in the beginning with the reality/dreams/looking into the future, but as soon as the story picks up it all makes sense.

Thrilling adventure, very entertaining read with a story that grabs your immediate attention and does not let go. Looking forward to the next book in this series to find out what happens to this exciting group.

A Journey that thrusts Breanna into a new and strange world with some very interesting people. Ethan is the one new person on this adventure that she feels she has known forever since he seems to arrive straight from her dreams. Action, danger, suspense and the testing of family and friendships this story has it all.

The Beckoning is book 2 in The Entangled Series taking place in Hidden Creek, Georgia by Jill Sanders. It was worth the wait, fast read story full of awesome characters, intrigue, mystery, psychic powers, lots of twists and turns. It was great to read about the characters from the first book and know what happened to everyone. But is a must that you read book 1 The Awakening so you don't feel lost in this great paranormal story. Can't wait for more, Jill is an excellent writer.

Jill Sanders has delivered another thrilling, romantic, steamy installment of the Entangled Series. She brilliantly brought in the characters from the first installment and now we meet Brea, who has been dreaming of a tall, dark and handsome man. Little does she know, Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome has been dreaming of Brea as well. I love how the characters are woven together, yet each has a story. Can't wait to see where this goes! I highly recommend this series.

This book was not nearly as well done as book 1 in this series. I was so disappointed when I got to the end because the story went really nowhere. It just stopped.

The basic premise of book one was built on in this book, but it felt more like a character study as new players were introduced. The reason for this book seems to have no other reason to be except as a segue to the next book.
I actually felt conned by this book as opposed to the way I felt after reading the first book.

When I was a kid, my mother was hooked on the daily soap operas on tv. By the time I grew up and had my children- the same soap operas were still on TV with the same people and the story hadn’t progressed to anywhere meaningful. It was boring. This story became boring precisely because it didn’t move. It stalled.
The characters were curiously interesting- even with the introduction of Drew the pseudo villain whose part only allowed the introduction of Brea- the next piece in the sort of psychic superhero drama.

I realize, Ms. Sanders the more you write, the more you sell- that’s a great thing- but you lost me - I am out of the game of buying glimpses into a possible story only to have to keep buying more books to get to a finished story, like some danged junkie on a city street.

Phenomenal read!! I loved finding out what happened to everyone from the first book, Christina and Mike, along with Jess and Jacob. The new addition to the group is Brea who really doesn't understand why she is having these weird dreams of things happening to her. Are they real or are they just that dreams? No they aren't real, they can't be she doesn't believe in those things, but she wakes up in different places. Then the man she has been dreaming about for a long time comes home, Ethan, Mike's brother. Does he have the same types of things happen to him? She came to Hidden Creek for one thing only and it all changes, but is it hers to choose. The twists and turns get even better and better in this story. Things come together and we get to know more of what happened all those years ago and what happened to Jess. There is such a big surprise about them all. You have to read this story, I was so enthralled with what kept unfolding that all of a sudden I was at the end of the book and want more! That is the best kind of book. Jill Sanders has an amazing talent in this paranormal series of taking me to another world and its like I'm right there with them.

What the hell!!???

This has just gotten complicated. I hate all the half finished thoughts, almost investigations and everyone telling everything but keeping back important stuff that would move things along. They talk love but don't trust and they forgive some terrible and irresponsible stuff at the drop of a "let's discuss it after dinner". I was losing my spit with these people then it got interesting and ended!!!! No real answers yet but I'm still so curious that I'll be reading the next book!

Breanna has been seeing Ethan in her dreams and in visions for quite a while now. Ethan has been seeing Breanna too. When they finally meet, it is like they have known each other for years. There are so many secrets in this whole situation and they are trying to figure out why their parents are involved. Their parents are not telling them anything, so they have to investigate the past to find out how to stop what is coming.

The Beckoning is Book 2 in the Entangled Series. It picks up where book one ends and you find out who was at the door. This book introduces Breanna, a journalist from Atlanta, and Mike's twin brother, Ethan. Both these people also find out they have special powers. Book 2 leaves you with more questions, as it ends with Breanna disappearing into thin air. Hopefully book 3 will answer a few questions and tie up some loose ends, but maybe not as there are 6 books in the series.

Great book.
Again I liked all the characters.
I still not quite sure what the hell I am reading but I must say I am enjoying this series. It is a real page turner, with each book you have a different couple but the other characters are still in the book. You also get more of the story, finding out little by little the storyline.

The Beckoning is the 2nd book of this series and both end in cliffhangers that make you want to pick up the next book immediately! The characters are well written and, in this book, Brea and Ethan find each other and some special abilities. Can’t wait to read what happens next.

This book picks up where the Awakening ended. The stranger on the doorstep is Brea. She’s another piece of the puzzle and her love interest is Ethan. The adventure continues with numerous discoveries. Good storyline.

Book two of this series and I could not put it down. It's time the remaining parents give these young people answers. Not sure they were prepared for the few answers they got. Hate these cliff hangers!
