I’ve managed to avoid anything COVID related because it can be so controversial. But right off the bat listening to her lackadaisical attitude is annoying. Reminds me too much of all those spring breakers last year in Florida and their lack of concern not only for themselves but anyone else. Even now there’s people like this, refusing to wear masks, acting like this was just some overblown scheme that drive me fucking batty.
Ok, now that my rant is over I’m going to let it go and enjoy this no doubt salacious book.

I loved this book - the perfect combination of hot and smutty but with a good and fairly deep storyline underpinning everything. Gem was a fab FMC and Blake and Max were so hot, just everything. 100% recommend!

This book took me by surprise! I downloaded whilst fancying a certain type of easy read, but found myself loving BJ Mann’s writing style, the characters were fleshed out really well and of course the steam was just 10/10.. it had elements in this book I’d been craving and wanting to read for a while but never found.. until here!
I loved Gem, Max and Blake, their relationship seemed authentic and the chemistry between them was insane, Gem really knocked them for six on her birthday!
I’ll be reading more of this authors work for sure.

The slew of lockdown romances that have come out in the last year are all an interesting look at the varied responses and reactions to the virus. From that aspect, this was an interesting read. The rich perspective, where the concern was more geared towards the long-term impact and family health rather than the financial struggle, gave an interesting tone throughout the story. I particularly appreciate the author for mentioning charities catered towarss front-line workers.
The romance side, which was majority of the book, just didn't do it for me. I couldn't connect with Gemma, Max or Blake, despite their entertaining dynamic. It might have been due to my dd/lg expectations, but even the age gap just felt a bit superficial. There wasn't enough depth to it, beyond describing gray hairs and the ages.
If you're looking for an amusing age-gap, menage romance involving training and taboo, this would be a good book. For me, I'll be keeping an eye out for BJ Mann's Sexy Daddies series.

No spoilers, but the book didn't have quite the resolution at the end I had hoped for. But, it was a decent ending.
There were quite a few misspellings, wrong word used, wrong person used. For me, that took away from the story because most of the errors could have been easily fixed with a spell check application.
