Dan wasn't too happy with paul and his excitement over painting an egg for the contest. But while paul was trying to convince the hen that her egg would win him first place Dan was thinking paul didn't know what he was saying the next day he gave in to paul and told him okay I trust you show me what you can do. So paul did just that. Very cute story.

Cute story with a deeper message! Really enjoyed this timely tale with my children. Loved the snowman's attitude towards inclusivity (even if it was motivated by the prospect of winning a contest!). Whimsical illustrations are just right for the sweet tone of the tale.
How could there be an Easter without Snowman Paul? This book has an eggciting story with bright and whimsical pictures. The story is great from PreSchool to 2nd Grade and baby to 8 year olds. First they can listen. Then they can read to you. I highly recommend this book along with all the Snowman Paul books. There is an Easter Egg Coloring Contest in Dan and Snowman Paul neighborhood. Paul is begging a hen for an egg. Does he get one? Listen or read and you will find out the end of this marvelous book.
This book is part of a series that features the adventures of a snowman named Paul and his friend, a little boy named Dan. This snowman can survive the seasons in his adventures.
For this Easter adventure, Paul finds an egg that others discount as ugly. Paul sees it as "one of a kind." He convinces Dan that they should decorate the egg and enter it in the Easter egg decorating contest.
Will they succeed?
As is the case with other books in this series, the illustrations are delicate and whimsical. The sweet story is sure to become a new favorite among elementary grade school readers.
A wonderful whimsical seasonal story beautifully illustrated. This time Paul decides to enter an Easter Egg contest, but the egg he picks doesn't seem to be a winner at first sight. Paul recognizes the value and potential. His determination teaches us to never give up in the face of adversity, especially when we believe it is possible to achieve more. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Snowman Paul wants to be in the Easter egg decorating contest. He searches for the perfect egg and finds it in the hen's nest. He has to convince her to give it to him. Can he do it? Will he be in the contest?
This is a short enjoyable story for your toddlers. The illustrations are adorable as is the story. Snowman Paul is confident that he'll get the egg and that he'll win. He doesn't let Dan's pessimism change his mind. I liked his confidence. I liked that he had a plan and stuck to it. You'll need to read this to know what happens.
"Easter with Snowman Paul" is a cute book written in rhyme about Snowman Paul wanting to enter an egg decorating contest. He begs a mother hen whose egg has fallen out of her nest and broken. The mother finally agrees to allow him to use the egg. His friend Dan doesn't think it's a good idea because the egg is ugly and cracked. This is a short story that is great for teaching children how to appreciate things and to find the beauty in things. The rhyming pattern works very well and would be good for young children. This would be a great book for kids around the ages 3-5.

This is a short story that is great for teaching children how to appreciate things and to find the beauty in things even when others think they are useless or ugly. The rhyming pattern works very well and would be good for young children.
This would be a great book for kids around the ages 3-5. While the title has Easter in it, the book does not focus on Easter, but on an egg decorating contest. Therefore, the book could be read year round to encourage kids when entering contests to have confidence in their creations.
Snowman Paul was at an Easter egg painting contest. He started begging for some Easter eggs. A hen finally gave Snowman Paul a Easter egg. There was something wrong with the Easter egg.
What did Snowman Paul & Dan (human) discuss?
I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.
An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) Snowman Paul storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational presentation (Easter egg competition), movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

This is a beautifully illustrated book with a quirky but endearing rhyming story to match. This is one of the Snowman Paul stories. Snowman Paul seems to have no problem with melting in the spring weather so is a very special snowman. He is friends with a boy called, Dan. Snowman Paul wants an egg to decorate for an Easter egg painting contest. He eventually wheedles an egg from Miss Hen but Dan isn't very impressed and says so.
“Hey Paul, don’t take me for a fool! The Egg Contest? Is this a joke? Its shell is cracked, I see the yolk! This is the plainest egg I’ve seen...”
But Snowman Paul tells Dan that with love and care they too can make the egg beautiful, and they do and the egg wins first prize. I love the fact that the egg is painted as the head of Snowman Paul. There are lessons in kindness and belief in this charming story.
Easter with Snowman Paul is a lovely story about Paul the snowman and his human friend Dan taking part in an egg painting contest. They both have a lot of fun and spend a wonderful time together. This story shows the importance of supporting friends. At the same time, it points out that we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. In this case, we shouldn’t judge an egg by its shell. Even something plain like an egg with a crack can turn into something special.
The book is written in rhyme. The whimsical verses are accompanied by gorgeous illustrations with lots of gentle details.
Although an Easter story, I think this book can be read and enjoyed any time of the year. I can also imagine this amazing story becoming part of an art project for kids.
This is an honest review. Many thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy.

This is a cute story about how anything broken can be fixed up with a little love and care. Paul the Snowman wants to enter an egg painting contest with a less than perfect egg. Will he win first prize?
A whimsical adorable story about a Snowman and his desire to have an egg to decorate for the East Egg Contest. He has to get it from the hen first though….well written and the illustrations were a delight to see!
Easter with Snowman Paul by Yossi Lapid – This was an Amazon freebie in a series that I have enjoyed. A sweet friendship story in time for Easter! Hoppy Reading!
This book is an easy read that will help with rhyming. It also is about friendship and helping others out. The book has a happy ending that makes everyone feel good.
