K. Bromberg does it again and knocks it out the park with this sports romance.

Lennox is a sports agent in a primarily male world and is having difficulty finding her purpose and self. She feels ignored and treated like a child by her family and her colleagues think she is sleeping her way to getting clients. She feels overwhelmed when she goes to visit her friend in L.A and is possibly considering a position with the MLS against the wishes of her family.

Rush is escaping a scandal that has rocked his soccer organization and made headlines throughout the world. He is laying low at his friend’s house for a while when he meets the beauty Lennox in his friend’s pool, and he is naked. The initial introduction between this couple is electric and the chemistry continues throughout the rest of the book. Written from dual POV the reader can delve into the thoughts of the characters and see how their strong sexual attraction to each other develops into more.

I was able to follow along with this book although I did not read the first one in the series, but I will go back and read it.

I recommend this book.

"If I'm going to be blamed for causing trouble, I might as well enjoy a little of it in the meantime."

There is just something magical about K Bromberg's writing. After reading Hard to Handle, I knew I was in store for another stellar series with passion, romance, and beautiful characters. Hard to Hold is the second book in the Play Hard Series. Although it can be read as a stand-alone, you will not want to miss one single moment with these characters. Lennox (aka Nox) is a hard-headed sports agent who is working to please her father and manage to surpass her sisters when it comes to recruiting sports gods. When she gets the opportunity to travel to LA, to accept a special contract, she cannot help but run straight into the danger zone. Despite her family's warnings, she ends up in a very precarious situation. Rush is a soccer god who has been knocked off of his pedestal and sent to LA to escape a deadly media-storm. All he wants to do is play football but when an unfortunate incident threatens to take away everything that he loves, he is desperate and will do whatever it takes to get back in the game. Nox wasn’t supposed to be anything but a distraction for him and yet she is everything that Rush never knew that he needed.

"What I should be doing is him."
Told in dual POV, Hard to Hold is one of those reads that you will not be able to put down. The chemistry between Nox and Rush is electric and together they are a force to be reckoned with. Nox is my favorite type of heroine. She is strong and beautiful and loyal to the ones that she loves. Perhaps the most standout character for me in this series is "the Kincade family as a whole" the way in which these characters love (and fight) is dynamic and is certain to keep me coming back for more.
"Gentle is for romance. This is pure lust in its truest form. No niceties are needed."
Overall, Hard to Hold will appeal to contemporary romance fans who enjoy a complex plot with passion and heart. I have been a fan of K. Bromberg for a long time and this series promises to keep getting better and better! Bravo, Ms. Bromberg! Bravo!

I love K Bromberg's books and this one wasn't different!

This second book in Play Hard series is the story of Lennox, the Beauty Queen between the Kincade's sisters, and Rush, a brit's premier league star, dealing with a scandal by laying low in the US.

Their first encounter was AMAZING!
I loved that scene and I knew it, that their chemistry would be out of charts!

I wasn't wrong and this book delivered and amazing story with lots of laugh, tension, evolution, sex, and OMG...
So. Much. Chemistry!

Rush is so loyal, passionate, gentle, and so amazing, that he's almost as perfect as Slade (flirting with 40)... And I love that man!

Lennox is dealing with an intersection in her life, and it's really hard to see her struggle with things that wouldn't be an issue, if she wasn't a woman in a men's world.

After an abrupt decision, Lennox end up in LA... and for the next 3 months, they're both living together in a big house, with s mutual friend, Johnny.
So many amazing moments between them...
I also would love to say that Johnny should get his own book! Fact!
Omg I love him so much! He's the best friend that both of them needed... and he's so funny!

I loved read a little more about Dekk and Hunter, and the other Kincade's family members.
I've catched a few similarities with the previous book, but nothing to ruin my experience reading it.

Can't wait for the next one! ❤️

Rush would be a terrible mistake. A terrible, gorgeous, satisfying mistake.

If you're looking for an addicting sports romance series, look no further. Welcome to your next obsession, friends. Because this series? It. is. EVERYTHING. I thought I fell hard with the first book, but this one? This one was even better. And y'all. I LOVED the first book. If you haven't read it yet, you must. But you can also enjoy this one as a standalone. Though there may be some nuances to these sisters that may be a little lost on you if you dive into this one without having read the first.

Four sisters who barely get along and couldn't be more different are brought together by a common goal to save their father's failing sports agency. Dekker got her HEA in Hard to Handle and now it's Lennox's turn. Lennox is the beauty queen with everything to prove. She's a hard working businesswoman, but she's always struggled to prove herself beyond her look. She's easy to write off as not having to try too hard because her beauty will seal the deal. But there's so much more to Lennox. She has a bit of a chip on her shoulder when it comes to wanting to prove herself. This is also how she lands herself in a bit of a pickle of having to recruit soccer's golden boy and current star of a major scandal, Rush.

Rush is facing an impossible situation while in the midst of a scandal that can cost him everything. But this tatted up brit is not what he seems. Beneath the sexy exterior and charming personality is a vulnerability from a devastating history he's still trying to move on from. I fell so hard for this man, it's not even funny. There's just something so incredibly endearing to him. He's loyal to his own detriment and with a heart of gold. Bromberg seriously created some of the most unforgettable male characters with this series. Dare I say that they may be my favorites of hers.
Just when I swore off men, one worth breaking the promise to myself comes waltzing right in—and naked at that.

Lennox was a heroine that was impossible not to love. She's trying so hard to prove herself in a male centric industry that constantly devalues her because of her looks. She's strong willed and sassy but she loves and she loves hard. I also loved that she didn't work against Rush to prove herself and move her career along. She's a woman with a strong moral compass and I loved that about her.

The chemistry between the two of them was INCENDIARY. I seriously couldn't get enough of them together. Something that started out as pure chemistry and lust, soon begins to bloom into something so much more and I was so here for it.

What I absolutely adore in this series are the feels. And the feels were so strong here. The characters were vivid and multilayered. The story packed with emotion and passion. I loved this book to pieces and can't recommend it enough.

Rush McKenzie is an incredibly talented, self made football star in the UK. Football is his dream, and what keeps him grounded. The game is his life and his greatest passion, so when a scandal rocks his world and his career and reputation are on the line, he heads to LA to lay low and stay out of trouble. He's sacrificed and fought to get where he is, but in his line of work public perception is everything. He's all caught up in his own drama until a gorgeous distraction catches his full attention. Lennox Kincade is devastatingly sexy, feisty and intelligent. She's the perfect mix of brains and beauty. She's off limits but lucky for him he doesn't usually play by the rules.

Lennox Kincade and her three sisters are sports agents for their family owned business Kincade Sports Management. She's known as the stubborn, independent, free spirited sister that can be a bit of a rebel. The former beauty queen has felt restless lately. She struggled to find where she fit best and wanted to make a place for herself. She's constantly surrounded by professional athletes working in a male dominated industry. She's determined to succeed and is searching for something that challenges her and gets her head back in the game. As she embarks on a new project she encounters British hottie Rush McKenzie. The bad boy athlete is charismatic, and at the top of his game. When he makes it clear he wants her she tries to resist his charms, but soon she accepts they are inevitable. As things turn personal she learns he's a man with secrets and walls around his heart. They always knew there was a time limit on their no strings fun, but will they be able to let each other go when it's time to part ways?

-What is it about me being attracted to athletes? The strong hands, the powerful bodies, the air of arrogance of a man who knows he's good at something, the dedication... it's like they're my kryptonite.

-I knew the minute I met Rush McKenzie I was going to break the rules for him.

Hard To Hold (Play Hard #2) by K. Bromberg is a sexy, friends to lovers, forbidden sports romance with undeniable chemistry and all the feels! I loved this couple so much!!! Lennox is a bold, confident woman who goes after what she wants, and Rush is a swoony alpha with a beautiful heart! This was the second book in the series, but can be read as a standalone. After finishing Hard to Handle earlier this year I didn't think there was any way I could love a Kincade sister more than Dekker but WOW was I wrong. Lennox is most definitely my new favourite. She is fierce, sassy , strong and free spirited. She has always beat to her own drum and takes charge of her life and career. She hears some negative things being said about her at a conference and instead of letting it get her down she boldly sets off to LA to take a new job that her father had already turned down. This is where things get interesting. She is staying with a close friend Johnny but it's not just she and Johnny in the house. He has another housemate. None other than Rush McKenzie, famous British Footballer who is hiding away in LA after a huge scandal back home. Rush is everything I love. Sexy, brooding, british. He also has the biggest heart underneath his exterior. He has a back-story that pulls at every heartstring and after all the mountains he has had to climb he deserves all his successes in love and life. Lennox and Rush were the perfect match. Each full of fire and passion and I couldn't get enough of their banter and snarky comments. The push and pull was addicting and their chemistry was undeniable and instant from the moment they meet. If you love a good sports romance with a ton of angst that will give you all the feels this is the book for you! I highly recommend it and cannot wait for the next Kincade sister to fall and get her HEA.

Kincade Sports Managment.
That's widowed dad-boss Kenyon Kincade and his four daughters.
Second daughter to fight for her happily ever after in love and job is Lennox.
She feels that her family and the professional world of sports is not really taking her seriously. But she'll show them!
Enter Rush. He's being wrongly accused of sleeping with a team mate's wife and he's hiding in Los Angeles - in the same house Lennox is hiding/visiting her buddy Johnny.
Insta sparks and attraction!
Not knowing that their new temporary jobs will bring them even closer together.

LET THE FUN TIMES BEGIN...

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH LENNOX & RUSH?
WILL THERE BE A HAPPY END?
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT ☺

Cute. Soccery. Sports-agent-ish.

I really enjoyed reading this.
It was constant sparks and flirting and falling in love from that first naked meet cute. Adorable!
We also get some very heartbreaking moments from the past.

But the story was also a tiny bit insta for my tastes. I didn't even have time to feel much of anything between them before they're halfway in love. It was a bit weird. It was like I missed something after they met. And while I think it was all a bit fast ... the book could've also been a tiny bit shorter and nothing would have been missing. There's a bit too much back and forth. Yes, we know that you don't want anything serious, but we also know that we'll get that happy end - so just hurry up already! ☺ I said that about the first book too. So that's just a brombergish thing! LOL.

But it was a really fun and sexy and emotional sports romance!
I especially loved the Rush-Meets-His-Fans moments. Adorbs!
And those sad scenes from the past. Heartbreaking.

Can't wait to read the next two books!

And I also wouldn't mind seeing a girl-power Jerry McGuire kind of sports-rom-com series on Netflix one day! ☺

A charming read! Hard to Hold, the second installment of K. Bromberg’s Play Hard series is an intriguing story seeped with selflessness, loss, love, desire , and the power of family.

After a disastrous conference, and an argument with her family, Lennox makes a hasty decision and escapes on a trip. A trip that takes an interesting turn when she has an unexpected encounter with the handsome soccer player, Rush. A successful soccer player still reeling from childhood trauma, Rush repays a past debt that may jeopardize all that he holds dear.

Both failing to love wholeheartedly, and fighting an undeniable attraction. One battling to uphold reputation, the other burdened by past guilt, all the while protecting loved ones. Will they be able to find the courage to hold on to the love they have found?

A good read! Definitely looking forward to seeing how the future Kincade journeys unfold!

Many thanks to K.Bromberg and ValentinePR for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I struggle to finish the book. That is why it takes me longer to finisb Hard to Hold. Just like the title, the plot/ story is slippery.

I am surprise myself that I do not enjoy this book like the other book in the series. I sort of lost interest mostly because I can not feel the connection between Rush and Lennox.

One step to complete success, only to find out that the debt from the past has to be paid. The bill always comes at the end, the price is high, but the promise must be fulfilled .... And it does not matter at all what is the truth in that world of power and fame one believes in what is served .... The price is that , but at least in all that chaos, she appears , the beautiful girl who surpasses everyone with her charm and looks ... just perfect, a little fun in the meanwhile.... but what will happen when the fun becomes something so important, and instead of wanting the time to pass faster, we want it to slow down ....
That is the story of the sexy English football player Rush, who is forced to spend some time in the United States to get away from the scandal that shakes his professional and personal life. …. but what will happen when the sexy Lennox Kincade appears and they have to live under the same roof for a while ... Can he ignore that magnetic attraction that overwhelms them from the first meeting?
The sexy and snarky banter, the scorching chemistry, the connection, the depth of the feelings between Rush and Lennox was a bit insta and so explosive from the very beginning. I love that this book is written in dual POV, each one so perfectly portraying their thoughts and feelings and both flowing seamlessly. Rush is so sexy and confident, so at least he appears to be. His cocky appearance hides wounds and vulnerability from the past that has marked him. A man who doesn’t know how to trust, how to love, how to accept anyone in his love.
Lennox is just amazing heroine, a woman in that male world, a woman who struggles to succeed, despite everything. Stubborn and sassy, but strong enough to embrace the truth and reach for what she wants. The fact that she has a morals and spine and didn’t let her situation/circumstances lessen her demeanor and actions is admirable.
Between the beautifully crafted words, the emotions that fill each chapter, the chemistry between the main characters and the suspense towards the end of the story, I would give this book more stars if I could.
This is absolutely engrossing love tale with sizzling chemistry that will make you laugh, sign and swoon. Don’t start this one unless you intend to get sucked in for hours, because believe me that you wouldn’t be able to put it down until the very last words.

"Rush would be a terrible mistake. A terrible, gorgeous, satisfying mistake. I know it after only one day, but the funny thing is, it’s one I know I’m already going to make. And I don’t feel sorry about it in the least. I’m a woman who goes after what she wants—without shame or fear. . . and, I want Rush McKenzie."

Lennox Kincade is a woman working in a man's field. As an sports agent she has to deal daily with the gossips and preconceptions of those envious. After a rough time and things catching up to her she decides to run to LA to her best friend and stay low for a while. She is a person who gets restless and needs to move alot in order to be happy.
Rush McKenzie is a star football player for Liverpool , caught in a big cheating with a teammate wife scandal. Disappointment is an easy word for what Rush feels after everyone accuses him, not once doubting the so called evidence, so at his agent advice he goes to LA to lay low.
There is where he meets Lennox. This is insta-lust, so when they meet sparks fly and a connection is made.
They have to work together, and also live together at their mutual friend, so a sexual relationship would be unethical. Or would it?
4 stars because I thought at times they really could have used better communication, but otherwise...
This book was awesome!! loved both characters to pieces. My heart break for Rush and his hard upbringing, and I wanted to hug Lenn close and tell her to fuck haters. Love, passion, insaine chemistry, complex plot and awesome cast of characters.
Glad everything worked out for them. Ohh! and I m so excited for the rest of the sisters!

“Careful, Nox,” he murmurs. “You’re playing with fire here.”
“You ready to burn with me, Rush?”

Oh holy hell, it appears that I have a new number one book boyfriend—Rush McKenzie. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a crazy reaction to a book. From the very first words, I fell in love with Rush and his self-sacrificing, family first mentality. That it’s packed into a hot AF, smart, sexy, ridiculously talented body didn’t hurt either.

He’s the complete package—good with kids, humble regarding his profession and talent, gorgeous, can hold a conversation, and loyal to a fault.

Almost to his detriment.

And then there’s Lennox. One of four Kincade daughters trying to make a place for herself in life and in the family business—Kincade Sports Management.

Lennox is smart, sassy, sexy, and also loyal to her family and her clients. She’s struggling a bit to figure it out what her real role and level of involvement is between her sisters and her dad. She’s known to be a bit of a runner—doesn’t stay in one place for long and no long term relationships.

Until she meets Rush. And the fire that ignites between them is hot, but also a slow, sexy smoldering burn. One that strikes hot and allows for their chemistry to sizzle and simmer until they just can’t keep their hands off each other.

I absolutely loved Lennox and Rush’s relationship. They both had so much to think about, lots of things to decide that could change everything that they thought would be their future. I loved how supportive and real they were with each other—that once they decided to finally trust why they had was real.

I swooned. I cheered. I smiled. I laughed. I cringed. I even held my breath a few times, and I loved every damn second. I’d give Hard to Hold twenty stars if I could! ~ Missy, 5 stars

Play Hard Series Book 2

CW : Cheating (not within our leads), Domestic Violence (not within our leads), homelessness

Our female lead Lennox is feeling lost and out of sorts. She doesn't believe in herself and doesn't feel that her family does either; so she makes some rash decisions which land her in front of Rush. Rush has his own reasons for running from his life and thrives in his 'bad boy' persona. With some well deserved loving and understanding that they both are floundering and grasping for a life line they start to find themselves through each other. Its a sweet read about family and love with minimal drama between our MCs. This is a really sweet and sexy read that left me wanting the next in the series so I can get some more of the sisters.

aside from the romance, one of my favorite things about this series is the relationship between the four sisters and their dad. I love the dynamic of relationships where families bicker but, at the end of the day, it's obvious they love each other and this series was able to portray that well, imo! I loved Lennox (h) and Rush's (H) romance because they have the push and pull of "I want to, but I shouldn't" (mainly coming from Lennox tho) relationship - which is one of my favorite romance tropes - but I also love how I also adored Johnny's addition to the story, he was my fave side character in the book. <3

I loved the first book a bit more, but this was definitely an enjoyable read regardless!!

Hard to Hold is the second book in the play Hard series that tells the story of the four Kincade sisters who are agents and recruit athletes for the family company finding love.

In this book we have the story of Lennox and Rush. Their story is sexy, funny, romantic and emotional in one package and it was impossible not to get attached to these two and hope to put their insecurities aside and give love a chance.

In many ways Rush and Lennox are very similar, both have insecurities of confidence, while Lennox is at a time in his career that is unsure, Rush has a difficult past that taught him not to trust anyone. So it was interesting to see their relationship developing from an attraction to falling in love and trusting each other. The dialogues and moments between them were great.

Rush is a great character, who had a difficult past and worked hard to get where he is in life. I think he is a character that I admire not only for everything he went through but for his loyalty even for those who don't even deserve it that much. And Lennox is a lovable character too, despite being a bit stubborn and letting his insecurities speak louder. It was good to see the Kincade clan even briefly here.

The only aspect here that was a little busy was the outcome, I think everything was easily resolved and could have been a little more extended, but other than that it was a fantastic read that kept me crazy until the last pages. And certainly a series that I recommend to those readers who like sports romance.

Hard to Hold by K. Bromberg was a delight to read. Lennox isn’t your average heroine and I love that about her. She’s not looking for a commitment, she’s actually afraid of it and “dates” men who she knows will be leaving and I use the word dates loosely. She sounds like our typical hero’s in romance stories. Rush is the same, sleeps around and isn’t looking for anything long-term, he’s your typical athlete; 100% focused on the game and everything else is a distraction. He’s the star player in European football but ends up in LA to “hide” after a huge scandal hits him. Lennox ends up in LA to hide and rebel from her family after she starts doubting herself and her abilities as a sports agent. The attraction to each other is immediate and watching them begin to fall for each other is amazing.

One thing I loved about this book is there wasn’t the typical breakup. Sure, they went separate ways for a while at one point, but they were never really a couple, so it didn’t feel like a breakup. Don’t get me wrong, there was heartache but for a different reason. Then there was the epilogue, it almost brought tears to my eyes. There’s a full book of build-up and the final chapter finishes it perfectly.

An all-around 5 star read! K. Bromberg has done it again! Every book she writes has subtle blasts from previous books and this book was no different. Because of Kristy and her amazing hero’s, the number 13 is starting to become one of my favourite numbers.

**4.5 stars**
Hard to Hold is the second in the Play Hard series but still a standalone. I absolutely loved Hard to Handle, and couldn’t wait for Lennox’s book. This did not disappoint at all! Lennox is the middle child of the Kincade sisters. She is a previous beauty queen turned agent. After a sports agent conference where a bunch of men spoke badly of her and it seems her family has also put her down, her confidence is shot and so she agrees to a deal with the devil. Cannon wants her as a Player Ambassador for his MLS team in LA. But, he also wants her to recruit a player. And who does he want her to recruit? Her new roommate, Rush, who’s in the middle of a PR nightmare. These two were actually quite similar. Both are looking for fun with no strings attached. They have intense chemistry. At times, I wanted to shake Lennox with her low confidence, yet you can certainly understand why she would feel that way. I loved Rush. There are alternating chapters of his past and they were heartbreaking. This was a lot more emotional than I anticipated. I would definitely recommend this fun, sexy sports romance. I’m so looking forward to the next book in the series!

*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

5 Wandering CROWNS

K. Bromber is singlehandedly renewing my love of sports romance. With the heroines ruling in a male dominated field and athletic heroes who are swoon worthy, I fall more and more in love with this standalone world.

Rush McKenzie is probably my favorite Bromberg hero. The amount he overcomes while maintaining his good heart makes him completely charming. He has just enough swagger to pull off that athletic cockiness, but it is subdued by his care and empathy for those he cares about.

Lennox Kincaid is a relatable heroine for anyone in a male dominated field. She has to fight against the male patriarchy and the insinuation that she got where she was on her back. I loved her fight, even when she felt defeated.

These two have chemistry that is off the charts. Physically, their connection is palpable, but the emotional connection is what really takes it to the next level. They connect on a real love, wandering souls who have never truly felt at home. The storyline, while probably expected, still had a few surprises that really showcased how much these two evolve and truly care for one another. The epilogue put the final nail in my heart. I was sold. Rush Mackenzie earned too book boyfriend spot with that epilogue.

This is without a doubt Bromberg’s beat series. I’ve loved every couple, all the sisters, and the storylines. She is giving women heroines to look up to, heroes worthy of our adoration, and storylines that appeal to our romance loving souls. I can’t for the next book to see the next sister fall.

***AUDIOBOOK IS PHENOMENAL. Great narrating and pacing, and the two together really brought this story to life.

K. Bromberg has completely converted me into a sports romance fan! There wasn't one thing that I didn't like about this book. It had all the elements I was looking for and more. I love the whole series, however, you can read as a standalone. Lennox was sassy, strong, and confident with a dash of vulnerability that made her very human. Rush was a loyal, strong, and confident character that really showed his character throughout the book. Their relationship was developed, fleshed out, and felt natural. It was witty, sexy, and full of depth. I simply loved this book and couldn't put it down!

You thought hard to Handle was good ? Kristy blows it out the water with this one ....

Lennox is sassy and fierce, confident and bad ass ! I loved her, everything about her, her work ethnic and her life goals but at the same time her vulnerability despite her facade !

Rush is everything! Throughout reading all I could imagine was that scouse (someone from Liverpool) accent, cocky but charming attitude, and the drop dead gorgeousness!

A real Page Turner that I was hooked from the very beginning, so intriguing with a need to just know more!

A story completely unexpected to me in more than a few ways, been English,it was so nice and comforting too to read some English phrases and referring to Liverpool and footie in our ways.

The story is very much fun and flirty and these two have an undeniable chemistry that fills The story with heat. But it’s also a real rollercoaster, because the further I got, the more real things became, the emotions Flowed and I ended up needing a box of tissues. Covering subjects and touching base on so many topics and real life events, looking at mis-treat and Mis-judged, living in the life of paparazzi, finding it hard to trust and not knowing who to, dealing with loss and How i imagine it to be, being a woman in a mostly male led industry, proving us women have more balls than the men ! 😜

These Kincade sisters are proving to be a family that deserves every bit of success and happiness and not some to underestimate !

An absolute brilliant all rounder read that had all the feels - a must read of 2020! ⚽️

(3.8 Stars) Lennox Kincade is a feisty sports agent and wants to be taken seriously. When she takes matters into her own hands for a job perspective, she ends up in LA. That’s where she has an unusual run in with bad boy, English Football player, Rush McKenzie. To make matters worse, her first assignment is working with none other than, you guessed it Rush! Rush is caught up in a paparazzi’s dream scandal but it is true? Sometimes the truth doesn’t matter as long as the papers sell. Lying low, Rush ends up meeting Lenox of Kincade Sports Management and well, things get a little complicated. Can they keep things professional? Rush is a cocky athlete with a soft side he hides from the world. Will Lennox be able to tame Rush and find out what he is hiding? This is the second book in this sports romance series but can be read as a stand-alone. I did struggle in the beginning a little until I got into the main storyline, then I really enjoyed these characters and they journey together. Get ready to for a sports romance that has all the feels. Told in dual POV

Review by Jen Skewes

I love this series. I thought book 1 was fantastic, well Ms. Bromberg took this one to the next level. Maybe it was the emotions this one brought out, or the chemistry between Lennox and Rush or maybe it was digging deeper into the feelings of both of these characters and finding that they both have their own insecurities. But it could also be that I absolutely loved Rush from the minute I met him. Either way, this book was amazing!!

Lennox is the sister who is a little lost and sometimes needs to run off and escape for a little while. She loves working for her father’s sports agency, but lately she feels that her father and sisters all think that she is not a capable in this position as they are. Or that she once was. When she overhears a conversation between male agents, she decides to run off to LA to take the job that her father had turned down. She feels like she needs to prove something not just to her family but to herself. She is staying with her best friend, and when she walks in his house, she sees the sexy brit, footballer, Rush McKenzie.

Rush is dealing with is own problems right now, in the form of a he scandal that has completely turned his world upside down and could possibly mean losing his position on the team. At the advice of his agent, he goes to LA for a little while in hopes that the scandal dies down. Due to his loyalty to his best friend, he cannot tell his side of the story. Then he meets Lennox and while the attrazction is instant, and he knows that she is the last thing he needs right now, he cannot resist.

I loved Rush!! He is the perfect book boyfriend. He is loyal to a fault, to the point where he will protect the person that means the most to him, even if it costs him everything. He is hot and sexy with a he heart of gold. He was absolutely perfect.

Lennox is beautiful, strong and sassy but lately she has been questioning herself. She is determined to prove that there is more to her than just her looks. And that she is just as capable as any man of doing her job. That is what I loved about her!

Lennox and Rush’s story was sexy and hot, but also brought out the emotions. There were moments between Lennox and her family that caused the tears to start. Their relationship may have started out as just sex, but it became so much more than that. I loved how Ms. Bromberg slowly peeled back the layers of Lennox and Rush. How much they trusted each other with their deepest secrets, feelings and insecurities. Because they both had them. Lennox was everything that Rush needed, and everything he never thought he wanted. Rush was that person that Lennox could feel like herself with and confide in. When they were together, things between them were just so easy.

Hard to Hold is book two in the series and it was perfect. I have always loved Ms. Bromberg’s books because she knows how to bring the angst, the drama and the emotions. She has the ability to write characters that you cannot help fall for. They are flawed and yet perfect at the same time. And she more than delivered with this one. I cannot wait until the next book.

Ever been in a book strike, where no story is good enough and you need to find that book that will keep you invested till the end? This was that book for me.
I will start by saying that it is part of the Play Hard series but can be read as a standalone.
It tells the story of Rush McKenzie, hot-as-sin star soccer player for Liverpool FC and Lennox Kincade, a beautiful, sexy, strong and feisty sports agent. He is in the middle of a media scandal and she is trying to prove to everybody in a mostly masculine line of work that she is more than just her looks. Their relationship is bit taboo and a lot steamy :)
I love how Rush appreciates Lennox for being strong and independent and how she believes and trusts him from the very beginning. They support each other through-out the book in such a beautiful and inspiring way.
I really like K. Bromberg's writing style. This book was easy to read, heartwarming and positive.

An irresistible and exceptionally entertaining second installment in the new Play Hard sports-related romance series! Not many better than Bromberg when it comes to building a dynamic relationship on paper. Her characters are well-developed and always appealing and captivating. Lennox and Rush are two of the best. I love their names!

Their story is filled with all those “feel-goods” with the sexy banter and wit, steamy stuff front and center, though not over-the-top – and so many heartwarming moments shared between Rush and Lennox that will melt your heart. Their story is a classic example of finding that perfect someone who will be beside you to help calm all the storms through life – that special one who adds a drop of sunshine into the dreariest of days.

So good! So fun-to-read!
