Seth Aronson is a normal guy- quiet, shy, and a little on the nerdy side. His days are spent at his job at a book store and his nights playing video games after work. He believes in science, not magic. Nothing exceptional happens to him, and he's okay with that. Then two beautiful women show up on his doorstep and tell him his deepest secrets, asking him to help them save the world. Magic is real, and there are things that go bump in the night. Evil things. Magical things. Things that need fighting.Seth is swept away into a new world- a world of endless, impossible hallways, magical Rites, beautiful witches, unseen dangers, and the sprawling, ancient Library that had haunted his dreams since childhood. Is Seth the man they are looking for? What happens if he's not? He has no choice but to dive head-first into a world he doesn't understand, in hopes of finding out.THE MALEFICARUM SOCIETY is a paranormal fiction series for fans of the TV show Supernatural or The Magicians, blending action, adventure, magic, mystery, and romance. I am a sucker for a witch read. I love a series. I love erotic. So, here we are, an excellent choice for me. I think the book does a great job setting up the series, with enough tease for things to come. I will say I have not read the second in this series but I probably will tonight - which is proof itself that is does a good job of setting things up. I read through this first one in no time. It’s a good quick read with a cup of coffee, which is excellent to know if you are someone who likes to read magical smut in one go, as I do. Enjoy! <3
When Sam and Callie pluck Seth out of his obscure life, he is initiated into a magical society he never knew existed. Wow! Such a fantastic start to a new series. I've never watched Supernatural so this book felt like a sensual version of Charmed - the original one which I love.cant wait to see where this new series goes!
Intrigued by the start of this series. Love the combination of humour and fantasy. And sexy too. Parker’s style is light and to the point. Very enjoyable.
