I was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, I moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and I have lived there ever since with my wife and dogs.
I write post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, dystopian and horror fiction. I’ve released fifty one books across six different series - Safe Haven, The End of Everything, Unsafe, Relentless, The Burning Tree and Scares in Scotland.
In addition, most of my titles are now available as audiobooks narrated by Kim Bretton, so if you’re one of the many people who struggle to find the time to read, you can listen on the go.

Christopher Artinian is one of my favorite authors in the Zombie genre. When I saw that he had written a book in another genre, I knew I had to give it a try. I was not disappointed.
It seems that someone is kidnapping young women and transporting them somewhere to inflict horrific and terrifying situations on them. You will feel their terror and cheer at their resourcefulness along the way. But, be aware that there are some creeptastic scenes along the way!
I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I won't say more about the plot. You have to experience this terrifying and action-packed story for yourself. I will say that I was hoping for a happier ending, but it is a horror story after all. The writing is wonderful, the pace is extreme, and the obvious horror of the girls' situation is palpable.
I first read this book as an ebook & thoroughly enjoyed it. When the audiobook version became available, I jumped at the chance to listen to it. The narrator, Kim Bretton, is one of my favorite narrators. Her ability to bring each character to life is amazing and you always know who is speaking, even with a three or four way dialogue. Simply amazing!
If you enjoy fast paced thrillers and great storytelling, give this book a try. You won't be disappointed! I was given the chance to listen to the audiobook version by the author/narrator/publisher and chose to review it.
WOW What a great read this trilogy is. Have read the authors two zompoc series which are some of the best out there so it was a no brainer to get these next. These are not apocalypse or zombie books, they are good out and out horror. People being hunted is not new but the spin on these make them stand out from the rest. If you like edge of your seat horror full of blood and guts these are the books for you. Highly recommended.
Its amazing how you can change your mind about people through a book. I spent the whole three books on the edge of my seat wondering how it would turn out. Fantastic read by a fantastic author.... Nice one Chris, keep em coming
This is the best horror series that I have ever read. Right from the start of each book the characters are thrown into the most frightening situations where they must fight of for their lives. Very descriptive and gruesome. Fantastic!
An addictive, read that had me on the edge of my seat and binge reading the entire three books back to back, and unable to put it down. Full of suspense, imaginative deaths and gore, for a horrifyingly good read, settle down to have your socks scared off!
When these books first came out I didn't think they would be my cup of tea, so put of reading them . How wrong was I . The story is absolutely mind blowing . It's fast paced and bloody from start to finish . Well worth reading.
