I hadn’t read any of this author’s work until this set. I really enjoyed the depth of emotion expressed by all the characters and the lengths that each was willing to go to for both their romantic partners and their friends and family. The character development and relationship development was quite detailed, especially given the length of the first three stories.

Each story is dual POV and has a different couple as the lead. They are well written and edited, and they are all intense, set in a world hostile to shifters. Each story ends with the couple secure in their relationship but with the external environment still iffy - a Happy For Now ending. I hope the author plans an end to the series with a long term Happily Ever After.

Each also has drama and some problems to overcome before they do eventually achieve their HEA. There is the hot chemistry we expect to find going on in these books as well. This is a fun set of steamy paranormal romance.. Really enjoyed them! They are clever and sassy, very entertaining and exciting!

I love that this boxset has the complete series in one place I really enjoyed reading it. The characters are engaging and well developed with the storylines flowing smoothly.
