Me EN-CAN-TÓ la historia de amor de Patrick O'Connor, fotógrafo famoso y Lola Bridges, reconocida oftalmóloga!

No esperé todos lo obstáculos que tuvieron que atravesar, realmente me tenían atrapada leyendo cada página hasta altas horas de la madrugada porque quería saber si al final lo lograban.

Esta es una buena lectura de romance contemporáneo que parece tenerlo todo, gran química, drama, humor, peligro. Descripciones de lindos paisajes, habla de la pasión que tienen los protagonistas sobre sus trabajos, la fotografía y la medicina.

Los personajes estaban bien construidos. Me enamoré de Pat, él era todo un irlandés y trajo ese carácter fuerte, era encantador pero también terco. Lola era una mujer súper independiente que no quiere volver a sufrir por amor por lo que tiene sus paredes bien altas y me gustó cómo fue bajando de a poco sus defensas con Patrick. Él viaja por todo el mundo y no piensa echar raíces y ella solo quiere concentrarse en su trabajo en el hospital que en citas pero cuando se encuentran es una conexión instantánea aunque ella luché contra ella. Me gustó lo diferentes que eran y cómo su vida que parecía hacerlos feliz de pronto no lo es tanto sin el otro a su lado.

Realmente disfruté mucho con sus diálogos y sus escenas que iban desde lo más sexy hasta lo más angustioso.

Los personajes secundarios me hicieron reír mucho sobretodo la madre de Lola y la tía de Patrick.

Mí única queja, siendo fan de bebés en las historias románticas, es que faltó más interacción de los padres con los bebés que llegan justo sobre el final de la historia. Por el título creí que iba a tratar sobre los trillizos también así que fue engañoso el título.

Hubo también errores de ortografía y es una pena pero bueno, no dejó de ser una historia de amor muy, muy linda. Gran HEA y epílogo!

Read for pure fluff. Love a secret baby story and this was not it. There was no secret. But a slow born relationship that ended in pregnancy and a happy couple. Not much angst at all. Disappointing.

I read to chapter 7

Seven chapters in, and maybe—maybe a dozen lines of conversation.
This is, for me, the absolutely most boring style of writing.
A good editor could help with that, and a variety of other problems in this book.

This is book four in the Doctor’s of Denver series, it’s Patrick and Lola’s story. Patrick is in town to visit with his brother Finn and his family and to get some hopefully amazing photo’s in the forests of Colorado. He is a famous artist/photographer and he travels the world, capture’s amazing photo’s, but his personality is wild and carefree to the point of putting himself in dangerous sometimes life altering situations in order to get that perfect photo. Lola is one of the best Ophthalmologists in the state of Colorado. Her personality is very regimented no varying from the rules and regulations that she has set for herself. Patrick is having issues with his eye’s that’s beginning to freak him out it scares him because his lively hood is all his eyes. With Finn’s connections in the medical field he gets Patrick in to see Lola immediately. Patrick is beyond smitten with Lola and wants to get to know her better but Lola says she does NOT date patients! So the challenge has been issued in Patricks mind and he turns on the Irish charm like you’ve never seen; Lola can’t help but give in and go to dinner just this one time...so as they go along they begin to really develop feelings for each other. Patrick is involved in a freak accident and is left with the possibility of losing his eyesight. Lola knows she’s the best in the business to help him but she also knows she can’t be impartial and clinical as his doctor when she has such an intense desire and realizes love for him. So Lola contacts a colleague to be lead surgeon and to perform the surgery even though she will be in the operating room as well. Will Patrick come through with full success and his eyesight fully returned? Can they overcome their past relationship issues and fears and be able to love? While they are knee deep in this crisis with Patricks eyes will they be able and can they accept and go forward once they BOTH are aware what the pregnancy test results show? This is such a wonderful story. Ms. Crowne really knows how to grab ahold of the reader from page one and continues to hang onto them and carries them right along with the characters as if you are right there with them. I’ve yet to be disappointed in one of her books. I recommend this story. I received an Advance Reader's Copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions.

Putting Fear Aside and Taking a Chance on Love

Everyone has fears—some are public and humorous—like syngenesophobia—the fear of relatives, or zemmiphobia—the fear of the great mole rat. But some fears are not amusing and can be life constricting, such as the fear of a controlling and demeaning individual, especially if that individual claims to love the very person who is being controlled and demeaned. And most challenging is that fears—whether rational or irrational—may have an origin from a life experience or simply spring from our own psyche.

Bright, beautiful and gifted, with warm olive skin tones and lovely chocolate hair and eyes Lola Bridges experienced through her mother’s blindness a fear that many face—the fear of losing one’s independence as the result of a physical disability. But neither mother nor daughter allowed the independence altering experience to be disability in embracing the bounty of life. Patrick and Lola are both used to living solo lives. Both have been burned by past love interests and are not in the market for a committed relationship. Patrick is a famous Irish photographer used to roving the world in search of the next great shot. He is in town visiting his brother and his family. His recurring blurred vision prompts his brother, a doctor, to make Patrick an appointment with an ophthalmologist in his medical group. Lola is the ophthalmologist who examines Patrick’s eyes and gets a taste of his flirting skills. She tries to shoot him down when he asks for a date, but Patrick is very persistent, and she is finding it impossible to deny her attraction to him. The accent, his muscular build, his eyes and his flirty banter....yes she accepts his invitation to dinner. They both partake of dessert (sensual delights) at her condo, but the evening ends with her kicking him out. She doesn’t want to get attached to a roaming photographer, and that flicker of need in her heart scares her. She tells herself that she needs to keep focused on her career, not worry about having a man in her life. But Patrick is nothing if not persistent. Though he is used to one night hookups, something about the gorgeous doctor keeps pulling him closer. What follows is a very determined pursuit featuring unexpected adventures, plenty of conversation and lots of personal, very passionate attention. Will the Irish rover admit he has met his match? Will two loners become a long term or even a lifetime couple?

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Lola Bridges and we get Patrick O'Conner. As you remember we met Patrick in Irish Doctor's Secret Babies. When this book opens we find Patrick out on a photo shoot of a kit fox. He is just waiting for his opportunity to get that perfect shot. After he does though he finds that his vision goes blurry. This is nothing new to him he keeps having the problem at least once per day for the last couple of years. When it happens twice in a day his brother books him an appointment with the best eye doctor in the state. He isn't sure he needs this but will do just about anything for his brother. Well short of settling down and putting down those much desired roots his brother and sister-in-law want him to have. Lola always has a packed schedule and when she finds out the one hour she thought she might have free has an appointment she knows it will be another busy one. When she learns who the patient is she is interested to see what he is like in comparison to his brother. She Lola has everything planned including what she will be doing pretty much every hour of the day. That is why when she meets Patrick she is thrown by her reaction to him. When she examines his eyes and learns his eye sight is terrible she figures she is done with him. That is when he asks her out. Can these two find a HEA or are their lifestyles just to different to find that common ground?

Another amazing hit by this author. In this book these characters will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I loved this book and the rest in the series and who doesn’t like a hot Irish guy as well. Patrick is in town for a few weeks and staying with his brother Finn, Kenna and there kids Sophie and Sam and he loves every minute of it and wonders can he settle down with the right woman and put down roots when his job as a photographer takes him all over the world and being very good at it has it perks because he could retire with the money he has saved and invested. Now he is having more problems with his eyes that he should of had looked at a year ago so Finn gets him in to see his friend Dr Lola Bridges an ophthalmologist who works for the same company as him Pit Medical Centre. Patrick arrives and flirts a little with girl at the front desk and then is taken back to a room when the eye doctor walks in he is so taken by her beauty he is having trouble keeping his dirty thoughts to himself and all the ways he can please her in this room. Lola is shocked at how good looking Finn’s brother is and she is having trouble trying to stay focused. After checking him out he needs glasses and sends him on his way when he stops to ask her out and she agrees. There dinner date was amazing and they have so much in common that they end the night together and what a night it was because both of them can’t stop thinking about the other one. So can they have a life together when Patricks always on the move and can Lola trust him now that she is pregnant with triplets to be the man /father she hopes he can be, to find out what happens next get this book you won’t be disappointed at all.

I absolutely loved this book! Another fantastic story by KC Crowne! Patrick is in town visiting his brother and also working as a photographer. Patrick loves his life roaming the world doing what he loves most, photography. The idea of settling in one place, let alone with one woman is the furthest thing from hIs mind, until be meets Lola. Lola is a eye doctor and meeting Patrick when he visits her as a patient. She is instantly attracted to Patrick, and despite his charms initially resists his advances, he is a patient and Lola has no interest or time for a man in her life. Patrick however doesn’t give up too easily and is persistent about taking Lola out for a date, she eventually gives in as he is no longer her patient, but she finds herself crumbling around him. When Patrick starts spending more time with Lola he starts thinking of having a base in town, something he never wanted before. Lola can feel her walls starting to come down, but when Patrick has an accident she knows she loves him. Patrick is far from the best patient and pushes Lola away but Lola is actually hiding something from Patrick and knows now is not the best time to reveal it. I loved the characters in this story, their connection was amazing. I was so glad Patrick changed his outlook, and loved the ending. Loved the humour with Lola’s mother. A really enjoyable book.

This is a fantastic read! You will be hooked from the first page. You are introduced to Patrick. Patrick is a well known world class photographer. He is a big 6’4” Irish man who is visiting his brother in Colorado. He doesn’t have a home base just travels wherever he wants to take his photos. He is experiencing some eye blindness and his brother makes him an appointment with a well known ophthalmologist. Lola is a gorgeous, curvy woman who does not date her patients, who doesn’t date at all. She is a busy woman who works at the clinic, volunteers at a free clinic. Patrick feels an instant attraction to her. Patrick is not going to stop asking her out! Patrick is easy going, talker who never gives up. What will happen when she says no? These two characters are opposite of each other. Will that even work? Patrick and Lola have an instant rapport. They are both immediately attracted to each other. Both have had some bad experiences which is still affecting Lola. Can Patrick help her? These two have such electricity. It is so powerful! This book has everything needed for a good read - drama, passion, humor, conflict, romance, sizzling chemistry, and oh so much smoking hot heat, sexy love. A well-written, well developed, entertaining read!

Patrick is a talented photographer and permanent bachelor. He has never had his own apartment he just follows the work building up his career bigger and better living in hotels. After admitting to his brother that he’s been having some issues with his eyesight, an appointment is made with Dr Lola Bridges, one of the best ophthalmologists in Denver.
Patrick is a real character, larger than life with a wicked sense of humour and confidence to boot. Whereas Lola is quieter, more serious and reflective. They get on well but at first Lola is knocked off kilter. The two of them bounce off each other bringing out the best in each other with tons of sexual chemistry. While Patrick takes his amazing photographs he also arranges to become one of the biggest investors in the free clinic where Lola volunteers. They’re desperate for funding and Patrick is something of a philanthropist. As the weeks go on, their relationship begins to blossom into something that could even become permanent, one thing that neither could’ve predicted.
A thoroughly enjoyable from beginning to end, with numerous adventures along the way. Brilliant.

Patrick is an adventurous Irishman. His passion is photography and it’s what gives his life meaning. He’s great at what he does and enjoys the thrill of adventure that he goes on. He’s been all over the world and made a good living doing so. He comes to Denver to stay with his brother Finn while he works on his next big project. He isn’t a relationship guy because his ex was a money hungry spoiled brat that tried to ruin his good name when he didn’t give her what she wanted. During his stay he started having problems with his eye sight again. So he was set up with a specialist to take care of it. Her name is Lola. Lola is one of the top doctors in her field. She is work oriented and in her free time like to volunteer at the free clinic. She also isn’t one for relationships because her ex was a controlling guy who always thought she was wrong, knowing she was actually right and he just didn’t wanna admit it. Patrick and Lola have chemistry but neither wants anything serious. This book is full of adventure and surprises. Such a great read!!! See where this story takes these two and how much their lives change for the better!!!

We are once again back in Denver with Pitt Medical Group with Dr. Lola Bridges, a fairly new comer to the group has been called upon to check out Dr. Finn O'Connor's brother, Patrick eyes as he has been having blurred vision. When Patrick goes to the appointment, it was discovered, he only needed glasses. They both had an extremely strong attraction toward each other, but Lola refuses to recognize any feelings do to a past relationship that went bad. Patrick ask her to dinner on his way out, and she refused him, but Patrick did not give up. He came back at quitting time to try again getting her to go that time. His brother gets him to invest in her free clinic near downtown Denver, which Lola had no idea he had that kind of money being a freelance photographer with no home. Finally, she started taking him a little more seriously, when they went away for the weekend, and he got caught in an avalanche almost losing his eyesight. That was when she realized she loved him. This was a wonderfully written story where both of the main characters had to get past some of things in previous relationships before they could proceed with each other.

While visiting his brother Finn and his family, Patrick a photographer wondered the forest to find the best pictures to take. The last several years he has been having problems with his eyes, and too busy flying all over the world looking for the best picture to take. Finn set him up with the best ophthalmologist in town, Lola Bridge.
Lola is the best ophthalmologist in the city and it shows how busy she is. Too busy to find time for herself, let alone be in a relationship or even dating, but her mother has not given up hope, that one day she will come to visit her and bring along her boyfriend. Lola meets Finn’s brother Patrick and instantly there is a string attraction, even for Patrick when he sees Lola. After several tries to take Lola out Patrick was successful and become very close, but both tell each other they just want to be friends. Until one weekend they go away together and Patrick us caught in a avalanche which causes Patrick eye problems, which makes bother him and Lola to think about their relationship and where it it going.

Patrick is a famous photographer in town visiting his brother when he mentions having some troubles with his eyes. His brother gets him into an eye Dr. that is well known in the community so he can get checked out. Lola is stunned when she meets Patrick because of how attracted she is to him but she fights it since he's her patient. Once Patrick is examined Lola thinks he just needs glasses and writes his script. Its not long before Patrick starts making his moves on Lola because he can't stop thinking about her. Patrick convinces Lola to do things that she wouldn't normally do. Its not long before things heat up between them. When he ends up injured from an avalanche will this be what causes them to split up? Can they have a future together with the babies?

This is an amazing story once I started this book I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining book. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Triplets for the Millionaire is book 4 in the Doctors of Denver series. This time they doctor is a woman, Dr. Lola Bridges. She is an ophthalmologist and when Patrick, Finn's (book 3) brother and photographer, needs a doctor she is there. Patrick is having spurs when he cannot see/focus and he can't be a photographer if he can't see. K.C. Crowne has written a great addition to her series because I care about these people. I want them together.

The plot never gets too heavy with lots of romance and real chemistry between Lola's and Patrick. The characters are very likeable but stubborn at times. Lola's is full of heart, working at the free clinic is of upmost importance to her. They do not have a smooth road to happily ever after but they do get there. It takes Patrick realizing what is most important (oh yeah and an avalanche) to get them together. Characters from previous books in the series are throughout the story. I love catching up with their lives.

Lola is an eye doctor that Patrick's brother sends him to see when he starts having problems with his eyes. She is struck by how good he looks and he is very flirty towards her. They get hot and heavy but she keeps pulling back. Foreshadowing and book blurb let you know early that she ends up pregnant, and one of her issues is that he doesn't believe in setting down roots and staying in one place. How will they overcome these issues? Her fear of love and his fear of commitment? And what will happen when he gets hurt and loses his eyesight? Can she fix him?

Issues
The story was good, just needs some more editing. She's a vegetarian, but in one of the scenes, it says she is eating Mexican food (tacos) which clearly contains meat. There are also a few typos.

This book brings us Lola and Patrick. Patrick is a well known photographer that is having problems with his eyes. Lola is an ophthalmologist who Patrick's brother Finn makes an appointment for him. Once Patrick sees Lola, there is something about her that this bachelor wants. Lola, on the other hand, is really only interested in her work and volunteering at their free clinic. Patrick is relentless with his pursuit of her and finally Lola gives in. She is afraid that Patrick is a ladies man and will leave her when another one of his jobs comes along. However, Patrick's adventurous spirit makes Lola see that sometimes adventures can be fun. There is a twist in this book where Patrick feels sorry for himself and it's hard for everyone to let him get away with the things he is saying. This was a good read. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

Lola spends her work hours split between her full time job at Pitt Medical and a free clinic to help less fortunate patients. Her weekends and evenings are spent with mother.
Patrick O’Conner is a carefree photojournalist passing through Denver. He is visiting his brother, Dr. Finn O’Conner, and family. Patrick has sworn off relationships after his last mishap. Finn makes an eye appointment for Patrick with Dr. Bridges.
Patrick sets out to help Dr. Bridges relax. Will their time together bring them closer? How will Patrick react with the news of being a father to triplets?

Oh, the story continues with DR Finn's brother that is a photojournalist. Patrick is there for a visit with the family. He is having issues loosing his sight. Finn notices and makes an appointment with the best eye doctor in the state. Lola is that doctor, but she is very busy with her life. Neither want a relationship as both have had issues from past ones. After the appointment, Patrick asks Lola out. She agrees to this date. Things get hot and steamy as one thing leads to another. They end up on a one-night stand. Lola and Patrick don't think they will see each other again. That is until there is an accident and she is needed ot help Patrick. Problem is, she has a huge secret. Well, they both have secrets from the other. Will the secrets let them be together or will it push them apart

The job is not the only thing that can bring joy to your life! Patrick is visiting his brother, Finn, his wife and the twins. He's a photographer by work and by passion. On a shoot, he experiences bluriness and loss of clear vision. He visits the eye doctor and meets Dr Lola. She is the best Opthamologist.They are immediately crushed by the feels. Dr Lola is methodical, disciplined and has a rule, not to date patients. They have their moment. Patrick, experiences a crisis and reveals new paths for his life. Will Dr Lola put her no dating patients rule aside? Will Patrick follow Dr's advice? Can Dr Lola fix Patrick's vision problem? Does Patrick get his priorities in order?Absolutely likeable characters! This book was crazy good. We met Patrick in the previous book, he is Finn‘s brother and as Irish as you can get. His passion and his job is taking pictures. He travels the world to get the best pictures, and makes an insane amount of money. Lola on the other hand is very happy in her life, she is an ophthalmologist, one of the best, and she donates her free time to a free clinic. Lola has a past that has caused her to lock up her heart, and Patrick knows he has the key to unlock it. They are so good together until one of the biggest challenges presents itself. Patrick getting caught in an avalanche. Not only was his life in danger, but now he may lose his site. Being faced with this reality has brought out not the best side of Patrick, and Lola knows in her heart she does love Patrick, now they need to face this challenge together. Loved that happily ever after

This time we get to know Lola, ophthalmologist exceptional and philanthropist who dedicates all her extra time to working at a free clinic for people who can’t afford good health care.
Patrick, a famous photographer and brother to Finn (we know him from the last book) needs to see her cause he has problems with his vision.
When they meet sparks fly and they hit it off. However, at the beginning their road is pretty bumpy and they need to overcome some huge obstacles, like the double avalanche that causes Pat almost his eyesight, and then there’s the question how he’ll react to her being pregnant with triplets ...
BUT read for yourself, it had a great time with this book!

Delightfully compelling
Lola and Patrick make for a truly compelling couple. She is a highly respected ophthalmologist known for both her skill and her dedication to the free clinic to help the less fortunate. He is a renowned photographer having severe problems with his vision. Then there’s the avalanche where he nearly loses both his life and his vision. Last but definitely not least is what he’ll do when he finds out about her being pregnant with triplets. There are lots of wonderful characters in this book that play integral roles in both of their lives.

Wow when you say love takes a bite out of your arse no kidding. Patrick makes a living as a photographer. Taking risks to get the best photos. Life for him is chasing the next big dream(photo). When he meets Lola, you can say sparks ignite. He’s there for an eye exam but wham, he gets her juices flowing. Having been hurt before Lola a little skeptical about letting her guard down. Her mother bless her heart is a firecracker. The words of wisdom that comes out of her mouth. You got to read this. This story takes you on an adventure. It’s thrilling, sexy, eye-opening, adventurous, compelling just a joy ride to the end.
