Series just keeps getting better....


Short but definitely worth the read....not everything is serene in serenity.

What happens when you cross a broken person with an overly confidant person? How do they traverse the mine lines that have etched deep scars in the psyche of one of them? How can a person who doesn’t know how to communicate the horrors they have lived, overcome their fears so that the one person who seems more than willing to break up the dark clouds that live within bring the sun back? How can they navigate the waters of small town life? How will they come through the other side when they have road bumps popping up through their journey to possibly forever? What happens when the past literally knocks on your door & derails your present? Short but a total page turner nonetheless. Several LOL moments. Can’t wait for book 5. Not everything is serene in serenity. ;-)

This is book four in the series and we continue where we left off. This couple is something to wonder over. They have a chemistry that is undeniable, that is for sure. She is still not sure about her feelings, but they are getting stronger. He has had a realization that she is the one he wants forever. They are able to finally get some alone time, but of course everyone knows about it. Small-town people know everything about everyone. She is at least being honest with him over her ex. But the ex just does not get it that they are over. They have a date set up with his family and when he walks in he sees something that he does not wait around to hear what it really is. So his eyes only took one thing in and his brain said leave. So he left, and she was left standing there with her ex behind her in her house. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. This is just such a great series.

Jenna and her friends are out of danger now that Mr. Pickett has come by to apologize about his sons actions. Relief of not losing her job, allowed her to relax and enjoy being with Logan again. Even with all the good, Serenity still has some bad show up. A youth center has been almost destroyed and her ex is calling and showing up, leaving a mess between her and Logan again. The storyline is a vicious roller coaster and you can not get relaxed for very long before something else happens. If I lived there, I would be on Xanax for life. Love the characters and the story though. Keep up the good work.

The fire chief finally breaks down some of the walls around the doctor’s heart and finds out a little info on what lead Jenna to relocate to Serenity. I love the camaraderie that is developing between the two of them and between Jenna and the community. When the community pulls together to put the Idlewild back together, Jenna comes to a realization. And things seem happy and status quo. Then the darn cliffhanger!

I am enjoying this series and Ms. Cruise has a knack for packing a lot of action and many emotions into a short story. I feel like this book has a little more happiness and good times than the previous three books.

This is book four of six in the “Find Me in Serenity” series and you definitely will want to read them in order.

The romantic saga continues of Dr. Jenna Novak and Logan Cooper. This little town knows everything you do even before you do. The crazy sex bet that everyone in town is in on. The addicted ex who shows up and wants her back. Are her feelings for Logan more than she'll admit? When she came for the small town quiet life she had no clue what she was getting herself in for. This is a great book and the series has been captivating. Hard to put down once you begin. A great series with interesting characters and entertaining story lines. Very entertaining story. I was totally into the story and then after telling her old boyfriend that they were done he shows up at her house. Logan happens to walk in on her old boyfriend kissing Jenna. How much can someone worry about what the neighbors say and then to not knock Kent on the ground, what's wrong with this story. So many misunderstanding. Plus I would have given this story a five but I didn't realize the story was cut into six different books. Serenity is the small town that keeps on giving. Just when you think you have the people figured out, they surprise you again. Logan and Jenna are moving right along in their non-relationship relationship and enjoying it every step of the way. Guess what, I’m here for it too. However, the past sneaks up and threatens things when everything is going so perfect. This part of the Serenity series did not disappoint, but Jenna’s ex timing sucks. Why is it some men can’t take get lost, stop calling, we’re done?

Lots Going On . . .

Dr. Jenna Novak wants a little peace and quiet. Jenna and Fire Chief Logan Cooper’s relationship is flourishing as they grow closer together. Yet, one interference from Jenna’s past could doom their friendship. The reader is left startled from the events leading up to the conclusion of Book 4, desiring to know what happens with Jenn and Logan who are two engaging and charismatic characters you will be captivated by. Looking forward to the Book 5 in the series.

This is book 4 In the Find Me In Serenity series. In this book a few things happen. (1) Jenna and the other gals get confronted by Mr. Oswald. (2) Logan and Jenna become closer. There are a couple other things but I do not want to give away the story. I really enjoyed this book! I liked old man Simpson, he reminds me of someone I knew as a child. I would love to smack some sense into Kent.... met a few like him as well. Although short the book is well written with wonderful characters.

Things were getting back on track for Jenna and Logan finally until...
I'm really enjoying this series. Logan had a heart of gold but is a grump occasionally and Jenna sure gets herself into situations that make trouble.
This installment was fairly dramatic and had an intensity that took my breath away a couple of times. They just started to get steamy again. Great story and looking forward to more.

The only criticism I can come up with is that the ending leaves you on pins and needles wanting to read part five!! The story continues to build and flow nicely from the previous sections. The “mischief and mayhem” in town continues as does the support of the entire community, rallying to help those in need. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!

Jenna and Logan’s relationship is getting stronger as Jenna is starting to relax. They enjoy their time together until Jenna’s past comes knocking on the door.
One of the funniest moments in the book is when everybody knows they have been together at The Hermitage. Nosey neighbors!
I liked when Oswald Pickett goes to talk with Jenna. What a surprise!

Jenna and Logan's story continues in this next book and things are finally working out for the good. She and her friends will not be charged with trespassing but her ex Kent shows up at the wrong time and then he kisses her just as Logan walks in and he walks right back out. Will they ever be able to work out a relationship with each other?

Well this story will have you laughing and angry and wanting to kick something lol Logan and Jenna are still trying to get together but when her ex shows up it's Logan who jumps to conclusions and leaves but will Jenna be safe from her crazy ex?

STEM FMC in the medical field! I'm always looking for books with women in STEM, and this series has it. This series is written very strangely... it's like 6 tiny novels that are really just one long novel. You can't read any of them as stand alones, and each one ends on a cliff hanger, so you need to go to the next one. The spice is ok and the plot is ok, just a strange format.

2.5 stars - story was okay but it was like reading a "vella" story on Kindle. Could have put all 6 "books" into 1 and called it a day.
