Roman is amazing.. and hott... and sexy... and a total mess sometimes while Tess is strong.. and hott.. and knows how to stand up to him. The emotions were all over the place in this one.. the writing was very well done.. and the characters were very enjoyable.. This was hot, short and sexy. I am glad i got to review it

While I am not a huge fan of BDSM, I found this a really good one for people who feel the same way. Tess met Roman in her Father's jewelry store. He made it so he would see her again. They were from different worlds. She's a “shop girl” and he's next in line for a title.
After a reluctant dinner date turns into all night with him, she learns there is more to the man than the surface shows. Tess hasn't had great luck in relationships. Maybe this man was worth investigating. The more she investigates the more questions she has.
She knows absolutely nothing about the lifestyle. To please Roman and give their relationship a better chance, she agrees to attend a private club with him. This experience gives the reader the most realistic look that I have seen. She is not immediately ready to submit to his dominance. Will she ever be? Are there aspects she can accept even enjoy, but others she cannot? Is Roman willing to make compromises or will he expect capitulation in everything?
The adjustment to a new possible relationship building, learning about the lifestyle, there is more that could keep them apart. While this is a fairly short read, there is a lot going on. The character building is amazing for a shorter book. Read. Learn. Enjoy.

This is the first book by Kate Nova and i was so happy when I got to read this short but hot and oh sexy book . This is a BDSM book and i will say it is brilliantly written . The characters are both strong and complex . So let me introduce you to Roman and Tess .
Roman Wilder what can we say about him. He is oh so sexy and let me say he gets what he wants in every aspect of his life . People might say he is a prick a royal prick that is . There is such an alpha side to him . He oozes sex appeal and can have any woman he wants . But there is a side of him that most people don't see. The softer side the side that is hurting and doesn't want to hurt anyone . Ladies you will so swoon when you meet Roman and your panties will drop trust me on that one. He is tall dark, handsome and you will want to fix him .
Tess is a sweet girl who works in her father's jewelery story . She is more then what she seems at the begining but she has a wild side to her . When she meets Roman you can see the sparks fly and she becomes such a strong woman as she explores with Roman . She pushes Roman's buttons like noone else can . She wants to know what is haunting Roman . These two are great individually but together they are hot and i mean hot .
The author takes us on a ride . I usually don't really read BDSM books cause they are
just not that well written. They usually have naive female characters and the male characters are so well just bad . This author doesn't . she takes care of her characters and doesn't make them too stupid to breathe . Like I said the characters are well written and complex . The BDSM scenes are well written and have realism to them . I mean this book isn't for anyone who is of feint of heart . Loved this book! He's a royal person and she's working for her dad in the family jewelry store. She's into him, he's into her, but! He's into a lifestyle that she's not familiar with. It's interesting watching ( reading) all that come into play and how both Roman and Tess cope with things. Loved it!

What an interesting story. It does have some BDSM in it but it is pretty mild.
When Roman Wilder was first introduced to the story I was wondering what kind of character he would be. I have to say I found this bad boy very sexy and one that I would say was a keeper. Though he had a caring side he had kinky desires that needed to be feed as well.
Tess Davenport was this out spoken girl. With Roman being a Dom you can already tell there will probably be some trouble down the road when it came to Tess being a submissive. She is very out spoken and does not always like being told what to do.
I love that it was a story of a new relationship with them talking out their wants and desires. I loved the fact that Tess was very quick to tell her wants, desires, and concerns. Roman on the other hand was a little closed but Tess was just what he needed. She did not care to try to tear down the wall that he had built up on his emotions.
I loved the relationship Tess had with her father. It was very plain to see how she became the woman she was today. Her and her father had this very close relationship and you could tell right off that he truly cared for her.
I felt sorry on Roman’s relationship with his mother. I wonder who he had to really rely on in his life. I think finding Tess was a true blessing for him.

Interesting read. With plenty of scorching hot sex and bare minimum BDSM. I mean this book isn't for anyone who is of feint of heart this isn't your typical romance story both Roman and Tess are very complex characters but it still made for a very enjoyable and entertaining read. Looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this couple. So if you like alpha bad boys, curvy chick who isn't afraid to speak her mind with a dose of explicit sex scenes throw into the mixed then you should one click this book. YuriEmotionally heavy, complicated love story
Reading this story was like watching a novella on Telemundo. The emotional back and forth that Roman went through, he just wasn't a very dominant male, he acted more like a petulant child more often than not. These was a more appealing character, portrayed with more strength and conviction than her love interest. She made the story bearable and worth reading through, but I really feel that she could do better. Overall, the story began strongly but lost momentum after the middle with expositions that dragged and typos that in frequency towards the end of the novella. I loved Tess and her Dad, but Roman's character fell apart with the exposition of his emotional constipation and the question about what really went down with his ex. He is really not ready for a relationship until he can get over his past. My rating is based on the quality in the first half of the story despite how much the last half of it bothered me.

Great start
While I believe this is a really good book I feel that this may cause confusion for those that do not live in the lifestyle. Not all D/s relationships have the heavy BDSM aspects in them, nor does someone have to be a Dom or sub in order to participate in the BDSM activities. While I realize this is a work of fiction there are to many similarities to real life situations.

I got this book after seeing it promoted on social media I'm a huge fan of the author so I thought why not I quickly got engrossed into the book and story line its a fast and easy read. I enjoyed the connection between the main characters they were electrifying.
But I was disappointed by the ending it was just done and over no, I Love You it would have been much better if had an epilogue as it left lots of things unanswered.
I think this book is more like an HFN none the less it is s hood read even though I wanted more.

Fun, sexy read!! 4.5 stars
Tess works with her father in the family jewelry store. When a rich and famous customer leaves an item behind Tess is thrown into his world. Roman Wilder is the Marquess of Reston – and will become Duke after his father. These two are from completely different worlds and may be just what the other needs.
Scintillating read with light BDSM. Love the interplay between these two.
