Nowhere is safe. I slipped through the City’s net, but they won’t underestimate me again.
My first baby dragons are bouncing around the nursery. But there’s no such thing as maternity leave when the world’s fate is in my hands. This castle is the safest place for my firstborns… unless the Dragonkeep falls again. I might have won my battle in the City, but now the war is coming to my home.
Villagers from my lands have sought refuge behind the castle walls, as have the feral dragons I freed from the City. Keeping them all safe is up to me and my five dragon mates, and I'll have to rule the very elements to defend the keep.
King Emil has sent a whole army. There's only six of us. It's time to roar until the earth trembles.
** Spoilers: two cool bits in this book: the ferals can develop into clans, and there's bit of rimming. Actually that might be the first time I've read about that in a book; but, ugh, somehow, this book is even worse than the previous one.
I have tons of problems with this series; a ton of cliches/tropes is one cringe-worthy issue, but I'm just touching the most egregious issues in this book. No effort is made to neutralize a known traitor. Prior to the enemy army showing up, they don't train or plan for war. The dragons who were supposed fighters now just stare adoringly at Lyssa except for Ever, who has some sense still but has not been sexed up yet, hmm. None of her allies appear in this book. Lyssa is too dumb to find a general, soldier, or even a book to develop battle tactics. This book is comically lacking: characters with the smarts and sense of a rock, a boring group sex scene, even the timeline is muddy and disjointed. The author has some great ideas but the execution is awful. Hopefully she'll develop her writing. For now, this book and series is not worth the time of an intelligent adult. Maybe this series was written for those who'd titter at a little MM action or group sex and completely suspended belief?
This is such an amazing series! Each book brings Lissa’s closer to one of her men, and in this book it’s Clay the earth dragon. Clay has had a difficult time having full trust in Lissa since her arrival turned his, Drake, Gale, and Locke’s world upside down. It’s not her fault, but he needs stability and has a strong sense of responsibility. She shows him that side of herself when they visit the towns surrounding the dragon keep before the King’s forces can attack to warn those in harms way, and offer shelter. When the walls come down and love grows, it’s so beautiful. This book not only has plenty of spice, but also love and romance. It’s definitely one I’ll be rereading before the next book is released.

Baby dragons! Yeah! Lissa is half dragon/half fairy queen. With her five dragon mates ready and able to do whatever she needs from them, they will be called on to protect their castle home, their new children who are still hatching, and the villagers from her lands who seek refuge behind the castle walls. The evil enemy King Emil and his army, in overwhelming numbers, are marching against them. Can the dragons keep everyone safe as they battle the evil King?
This is an exciting, fast-paced cliffhanger that will keep the reader racing through the story line to see what happens next! Grab your copy and at least check on the baby dragons! I need pictures!
Enjoyed the new book! It went quickly and didn’t linger unnecessarily or drag things out, but that was definitely quite the cliffhanger! I hope they throw the book at the betrayer (no spoilers!) and Bliss is able to unleash the beastie. Speaking of beasties, hooray for dragon babies! I can’t wait for the others to hatch and learn more about the new babies. And next we get Evers story which I can’t wait for!
This is a decent-sized book (200+ pages), but man did it fly by. It's full of action, drama, danger, passion, and romance. I love Lissa and her mates, and the way they work together to protect the people and dragons under their care. I am very excited for the next book, which I think is the conclusion. I can't wait to see how it all ends up.

Shattered Clay: A Reverse Harem Paranormal Fantasy Romance by Melody Novak is a fantastic story that I have loved reading very much. This is book number four in this fantastic series that I have been so hooked on since the beginning. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about reverse harem, fantasy and paranormal romance.

I have loved reading this series. I get a kick out of her having eggs. I have no problem with their bond. They will always have each other. I hope before it ends she gets to also meet her parents.
Omg, this was the best one so far! I really couldn't out this book down. I loved all parts of the story and how the characters continue to grow. Can't wait to read the last book!
An epic battle, steamy goodness and hatching eggs! I enjoyed this 4th installment of the series and it was good to see the characters developing even more. Can't wait to see how it all ends in book 5!
Once again this because delivered everything the other books in the series have. I absolutely love this series and will definitely be sad when I get to the end. Onto the next one!
Well Lissa gets a break for about two seconds, then all he’ll seems to break loose. One mate is being slow to completely mate with her and it is frustrating. Come join the gang in Avaire to see what happens next.
The plot keeps moving at an insane pace. I wish it had been slower to show more relationship stuff. The relationships among the men seem to be non-existent. It feels like they're just a plot device to make the sex scenes hotter.
Rating the entire series. Solid series - liked the story from earth to the new realm. Unique take on dragons and magic. Each individual story was solid and it wrapped it up nicely.
Ok Seriously every time I think I know where we r going with the story I'm pulled a different way ... its so amazing to read a book/series that is like this ♡♡
This book was so engaging I read it in a day. I love to learn about Clay and more about Lissa and her powers. The eggs bring their own excitement and drama.
