Why people write strong female characters just to get shattered by their male Li? I'm strong, successful, independent bitch but I can't act like that with him. What's the point?
I feel like in this book we see sapphire a successful women who value her independence more thn anything. And James who knows this and hell on bound to control her did exactly that. He took control of her business and yeah thn gave it back to her said I love you and all. It seems like he did that just because he can. No matter how much he loves her he broke her pride. Not every woman need to be controlled. There are many types. Don't break prideful womens to do your bidding.

I was pleasantly surprised with this story! I wasn't sure what to expect besides what the subtitle implies.
Touch Me: Book One had much more depth and relatable/real world problems than I thought it would.
Sapphire runs/owns her own business as the CEO. She is looking into hiring someone to be her co-CEO; which is were James comes in. The sexual tension between these two was super high right from the beginning. I really liked the chemistry between these two and how well they worked together.
Sapphire has diabetes but doesn't want anyone to know about it. Only her assistant and herself are the ones that know at her job. The only reason she told James the story is because of the insulin pen he seen in her purse. Come to find out that James's sister Lulu also has the same problem and James thinks it would be a good idea if they meet so Lulu can help Sapphire manage it better. Lulu and Sapphire get along much better than I expected and it was nice to see Lulu have someone else she could talk to. I really enjoyed the development Lulu had throughout this story even though she was a side character.
James' family was a bit odd and I wasn't a big fan of them. None of them really got along and they definitely didn't seem to care all that much about each other besides James and Lulu.
Sapphire and James were supposed to get each other out of there systems and have a one-night stand but they started to realize how much they actually enjoyed each others company. It ended up being more than one night and then James got into an accident which meant he needed some help from Sapphire. Definitely read this story to find out what else is going on on top of Sapphire and James getting to know each other!
This story has everything you would want; betrayal, lying, sex, drama, fashion/design, and more. I highly recommend this story and the O'Connor series. Jax Burrows does not disappoint!

It took me a moment but..

What a great story!

First of all I loved Sapphire! Outgoing, loud, forthright, very confident woman, who knows exactly what she wants! Her only issue, and I specifically chose the word issue is her health. It's not tragic, she feels it's so, based on her childhood.
Secondly, James, perfect for Sapphire, calm understanding, sees Sapphire for who she really is, and is not put off by her, and often amused. Yet not badly, enjoyably!
Two such distinctly different personalities for so well together, yet both are dealing with trust issues, and conniving individuals from James past.
With humor, sarcastic wit, great characterization, Ms. Borrows gave us a novel that draws you in from the very Moment these two individuals meet! I simply laughed myself silly at the outrageousness of their first encounter!
This was an exceptional book, well written, with blatant, as well as subtle dry humor! Most of all change, growth, and love and understanding!
I loved it!

Wow, we hit the steam between Saphire and James as we left the gates. Different to the more sedate books by Jax Burrows and totally welcome.
I was also pleased to read how physical and mental challenges were brought into the story and not topics to be hidden.
This was a real gem.
