If you're a beginner at selling on Ebay , this book will jump start the learning process. While easy to read, the knowledge gained will enable you to start off walking through the experience, rather than slowly crawling toward your first sale. The author presents helpful tips that could take many months to acquire; giving you an advantage from the start. Keep the book close by to use as a future reference when the inevitable problem arises. Definitely worth taking the time to read before your first posting.
Ordered book to get up-to-date information on eBay selling, such as managed payments, and advice on other recent changes. Book does not mention managed payments, but rather explains PayPal, which no longer is an option for sellers receiving eBay payments. Author does offer advice on finding items to sell, packaging and shipping, but the book is disappointing if you are looking for relevant advice about selling on eBay.
Great for first time sellers, especially regarding the scary shipping aspects of selling on eBay. Have read many others on eBay selling and feel this one put it all together and feel ready to post my first item! Appreciate the list of free tools to automate listing.
While I did learn a few tips and tricks, 80% of this book was a regurgitation of the eBay directions. I started my store a few months ago and was looking to learn more about growth and driving sales. I've had much more success on Mercari and Postmark. If you've already started and explored in depth, you can skim this
Having recently gone back to EBay after ten years, a lot of rules have changed. More important, many haven't that I never knee existed in the first place. This book isn't just for the beginning or occasional seller, but even seasoned ones will find value in these pages. I have so much to review that I may find myself perusing from time to time later on.
Really appreciated all the information in this book. I'm in the early stages of selling on eBay and this gives a lot of good tips and pointers to get you off and running.
This is predominantly for US based sellers, but still worth reading for those located outside of the US as well. There’s lots of good solid nuggets of information and you can tell the writer is speaking from a great deal of personal experience.
