Rose is a florist in Sweetbriar Cove and loves living in this vibrant small town. In the lead up to Christmas she is run off her feet with seasonal orders and gifts for loved ones in high demand. It’s on one of these incredibly busy days that her boyfriend pops in unexpectedly to drop her like a hot potato. Yup, she has been dumped 10 days before Christmas. Happy holidays to me...

Nick has a bit of a reputation in town, he is a much coveted bachelor for all of the single women but so far he is yet to settle down with anyone seriously. When he walks into Rose’s store and sees how broken-hearted she is, he can’t help but feel mad on her behalf. I mean who does that to anyone just before Christmas and a beautiful woman like Rose should never be alone on Christmas.

Nick and Rose decide to join forces to take part in the annual town Christmas scavenger hunt, together they are a fantastic team. Before too long things begin to simmer over into casual holiday sex to something a whole lot more. Has the town Bachelor finally been tamed?

This is my first holiday read for the season and this novella was a perfect cosy weekend indulgence.

From This Moment is a super cute and enchanting love story. Perfect for the holidays and is sure to leave readers with all the feels.

Nick and Rose are just adorable together. Their story starts off with a memory of a hot and heated unforgettable kiss. Both Nick and Rose had been hurt by previous relationships but were ready to move on and what better motivation to move on than beating Rose’s ex in the Christmas Scavenger Hunt!

From This Moment is a sweet and entertaining read, with just a pinch of drama and a feel-good romance that will brighten anyone’s day. From unexpected kisses to annoying exes, and fun-filled scavenger hunt antics, this holiday romance is a must-read for any Hallmark Romance fan.

4 Star review of From This Moment (Sweetbriar Cove #17) by Melody Grace

I have only read a couple of books in this series but what I have read I thoroughly enjoyed can be read as a stand alone. This was a sweet and romantic story about Rose Cardinello, a florist in Sweetbriar Cove and Nick Sterling.

Poor Rose, dumped by her jerk of an ex just before Christmas and when Nick learns what happened he is angry on her behalf. Nick has a reputation as being a bit of a player but there is more to him than first appears. Joining forces for the scavenger hunt they find they make a great team and friendship quickly turns to more.

I love small town romances and this one ticked a number of boxes for me. I was hooked on story that Ms.Grace wove. The writing was strong and descriptive and I found myself easily imagining myself in Sweetbriar Cove. Both Rose and Nick were easy to like and I found myself invested in their story.

Sweet Briar cove at Christmas is wonderful, full of festive spirit, love, and a scavenger hunt.

you can imagine it just like a scene from a hallmark movie, This book gets you in the Christmas spirit and there is no one better to spend it with than the residents of Sweet Briar Cove.

Rose thought she had found "the one" she had wanted to be with Scott for years and finally they were a couple, that was until 10 days before Christmas when he dumps her. Enter Nick Sterling the resident English playboy. Rose and Nick have always got on full of banter and fun, so when he suggests that they partner up for the scavenger hunt to show Scott what he is missing, Rose agreed, what harm can it be, but as they compete together they get closer, is it just a rebound fling or real love?

As usual Melody doesn't disappoint, I really hope there are more in this series as you fall in love with all of the characters, you are made to feel part of the community. This short Christmas story fills you with joy, 5 stars is never enough for Melody's books.

This was a short and sweet, friends to lovers story that made me smile. It was a fun, light, quick read with great characters. The characters are well developed with good chemistry despite the stories short length and the story transitions smoothly between the characters POVs. For me, it was a heartfelt feel-good story.

Nick and Rose have been friends for years she’s aware of his bachelor lifestyle and quick and casual relationships. He’s sweet though and he has been hurt in the past making that lifestyle of no commitment easier for him. I loved his suggestion, how he’s more than happy to help her get over her new breakup by offering to be her rebound guy. Right!! She really has nothing to lose and everything to gain. The scavenger hunt was fun! The first kiss! The second kiss! I loved it all.

This is book seventeen in the Sweetbriar series but my first and it can definitely be read as a standalone. I decided to look up the series and I actually have book one Meant To Be…hmm, I think that is a sign, I guess I should start at the beginning.

From this moment (Sweetbriar cove 17)

This is the seventh book in this series by this author and can be read as a stand alone read. This story follows the characters Nick and Rose, these characters are well developed and have lovely chemistry between them from the start. This is a friends to lovers, sweet and short read from this author. This may be a short read but the author has definitely packed a lot into the pages. This story is told in dual POV, which I love as you get to hear both sides of the story. This is one sweet romantic read from this author and a fantastic addition to this series.

I was given an advanced read copy of this book and this is my honest review

There is no better way this holiday season than settling down with a cup of cocoa and a Sweetbriar Cove novella. Rose and Nick's story is going to make you feel all warm inside

Melody Grace has once again given us a lovely sweet romance. From This Moment is a quick warming read that you can just enjoy, of course, it wouldn't be Sweetbriar Cove without a little drama but we can forgive Ms Grace this time, as we are talking about Nick Sterling, our new British resident and one who has a different woman on his arm most nights, and Rose Cardinelli would know all about that, as the local florist she has had to make up a bouquet a time or two for this casanova, but this year Nick might just be the distraction Rose needs after being dumped 10 days before Xmas. I loved the backdrop of the scavenge hunt for this story a really nice addition, and a perfect way for this couple's romance to unfold.

4.5 Stars for From This Moment (Sweetbriar Cove #17)
This nips one of those series that I’m still playing catch-up with, I was late to game but I love everything about each visit I have made to Sweetbriar Cove and as Christmas is my favourite time of the year I was excited for this book. As will all of this series Nick Sterling and Rose Cardinello’s romance can be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone but I’m sure one visit to Sweetbriar Cove will never be enough.
Rose has been dumped by her ex just before Christmas and Nick really feels for her so he offers to be her partner in the town scavenger hunt and that’s when things start to get interesting. Everyone sees Nick as a player but there is so much more to this man than he lets on and Rose is about to find the man behind the playboy image.
This book ticked all my boxes, the characters were easy to fall for and connect with, the banter was witty and it’s a well written romance that will appeal to a wide range of audiences.

This is my first Christmas read of the year and I needed it. There is something magical and special about love stories that take place at Christmas. And Christmas at Sweetbriar Cove is particularly special.

Sweetbriar Cove goes all out at Christmas time with lots of events going on that are ideal for couples. Rose has been looking forward to spending the time with her boyfriend Scott, except he dumps just before the festivities begin. She is ready to give the events a miss until Nick steps in and offers to be her date. What starts out as a fake relationship becomes something more.

This was cute, romantic and full of feeling. The perfect man for you may be the last person you expect it to. It was a heart-warming read that is the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Who doesn't love Sweet Briar Cove you just fall in love with the town? Rose loves Christmas and always wants to make sure that everyone has the flowers and Christmas joy they need. When her boyfriend dumps her before Christmas she is already over it and her Christmas cheer has dried up. An unlikely friendship is about to show her sometimes you need to step out of your storefront. Nick is a transplant and loves his life. He makes sure to live his life like he wants and now he's about to help a friend out. These two have sparks for sure, but when the town holds their scavenger hunt well those sparks will not only fly but will shine bright. Sometimes though even guys get gun shy and for Nick when feelings start to happen well he may as well walk. Something happens though and their competitive streak will be hilarious to read.

Rose Cardinello, the Sweetbriar Cove florist, thought she had her life figured out. Unfortunately, her boyfriend, Scott, had other plans. Nick Sterling, the resident bachelor, had broken many women’s hearts for years but in hindsight, he was dealing with his own broken heart of his past. Nick and Rose were casual friends and he decided to help Rose with her heartbreak, by a fake relationship. That is when everything changes. Add a community holiday scavenger hunt, a dangerous sleigh ride, spiked eggnog, and their sparking attraction to each other, it makes for a heartwarming holiday in a small town. Checking in with the residents from Sweetbriar Cove was perfect to help Rose and Nick experience the holiday! Great book!

"Love can make you blind, even to what’s right in front of you..."

Synopsis: After Rose's devastating breakup with her long-time crush Scott who immediately moves on, seductive English bachelor Nick offers to help Rose get over the heartache and make Scott jealous. But with Rose and Nick teaming up for the Christmas Scavenger Hunt, and sparks flying whenever they're around each other, are they ready to admit wanting more than a greasy pancake?

Review: Instant chemistry and fun banter made this a spicy read! I loved how Rose and Nick were thrown together, although the Scavenger Hunt felt a little unrealistic in its pacing. It was a nice change with "big city" guy Nick having lived there for a few years and settled into the place so neither are sacrificing "home".

I just love being back in Sweetbriar Cove! And this one will put you in the right mood for the holidays! 5 sweet holiday stars for this one!
Rose thought she finally had it all, the guy she'd been dreaming about finally notices her and they start dating, only for him to dump her before Christmas. When Nick, resident playboy offers to come to her rescue, to make it look like she's moved on, will they be able to keep it just a friend thing?
I really enjoyed this story, Rose and Nick have just the right banter between them, yet they both feel they can also open themselves up and show each other who they truly are! You definitely don't want to miss out on this one! Grab it asap!

This was a delightfully fun holiday read! Take a trip back to Sweetbriar Cove for the holiday season. This is novella, but it packs a punch. I really enjoyed Rose and Nick's story. Their banter was one of my favorite parts of the book. I loved catching up with some of my favorite characters in the series as well. I just gobbled this one right up. Sweetbriar Cover sounds like a place to be for Christmas festivities. I think I would be fast friends with Rose. I would love to work for and make the arrangements for the holiday season. I would recommend this one!

A sweet Christmas story that proves you shouldn't judge people without getting to know them. Rose, and most people in Sweetbriar Cove, think Nick is a playboy but when Rose gets dumps days before Christmas and he offers to be her rebound fling she discovers a whole other side of Nick. Nick is determined to never get hurt again after his fiancé cheated on him, so he plays the field, but when he spends time with Rose he finds he can't resist her charms and falls hard. This is a quick, light read with delightful characters and small town Christmas appeal.

I loved each and every book in this series! Nick was the towns British flirt. Rose own the local floral shop in Sweetbriar Cove. Every day Nick showed up to order flowers for his date. A different woman each time. Rose kidded with Nick every day about his life and over time they became friends. Rose then went through a bad incident and Nick stepped up to help her get over it. They both learned that they each were different people than they thought they were.

This book was so cute and since I read another briarcove book I got to see more of the town and things that were just mentioned in the other book.

I really enjoyed the two characters story and I’m learning when it comes to holiday romances I prefer novellas.

I'll be nice with this one: it's much better than Holiday Kisses. Progress in writing was visible, this being some twelve books later. Good! That forced misunderstanding trope did have me pull my hair but that's to be expected of a romance novella. The characters were also much more believable than in Holiday Kisses!

A sweet conclusion to this series, but I'm hoping for more. This one was good, and I always love a holiday setting for a book, but I wish it had been longer to give the characters a little more development.
