Surrender #9

Convincing Leah

Rate this book
LeahA childhood reprimand has caused me to be extremely hard on myself. To this day, I never misbehave. But even my thoughts require absolution, and I get that at the club. My favorite release comes in the form of impact play. Two nights a week. That’s all I allow myself. Many of my friends are little. I get it, but it’s not for me. I can’t be little. I was never little. I became an adult when I was five. I don’t know how to be young. What if I do it wrong? CraigI’ve wanted Leah from the moment I first saw her. I don’t care that she’s not little. But I’m a Daddy, through and through. After two months of playing exclusively with her at the club, I want more. Can I set that part of me aside and be what she needs? Her world gets flipped upside down by a crazy fan. She needs to tap into her inner little to escape and hide. And she needs me to protect and nurture her. Can she see I’m here to pick up the pieces no matter where they fall?

This is a simply riveting read, so many issues and incidents, impossible to put down

This is one of those books that once you start reading it is impossible to put it down until you reach the very last page, I assure you that I do not want to spoil the story so will only tell you so much information.

Leah is an author that has been published and she is extremely private about her books not even telling anyone her publishing pen name, she is currently in a twice a week relationship with Craig who she meets at Club Surrender where they have an impact session and any thing else, they enjoy at the time.

Leah is extremely private and although she has several friends that are Little’s she is adamant that she is not and even her very closest friend and Zoe believes that she is not being honest with herself but knows not too push the issue with her. Then one day the most unimaginable thing happens, she is kidnapped and is taken from her home and has no idea is she will be found.

She hopes and pays that Craig will realise that she is missing and that he will go to Zoe and this is exactly what happens however things are never that simple and the effect on her is devastating. Craig is doing everything he can to help her and her friends are also coming to her assistance, you must read this amazing book and discover the outcome.

Will this couple be able to find their ideal relationship and the actual Daddy and Little relationship that works for them, ow will the go back to their original adult relationship.

I have loved everyone of these books as they are always different and it is wonderful to meet up with characters from previous books.

I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Leah is a successful author who goes to Surrender a couple nights a week to relieve stress. Craig is the only one she scenes with, which in itself is a bit strange since he is a Daddy Dom and she doesn't believe she could ever be a little.

Leah and her best friend Eve, who is a little, are having lunch together and the Daddy Dom subject comes up. Now Leah's wondering if she's being fair to Craig, it's a conversation she'll need to have with him.

Leah and Craig talk and facetime between visits to Surrender but they haven't gone out on a date or anything. The evening after the lunch with Eve, Leah brings up the issue.

Craig and Leah meet up at Surrender, Craig has booked a private room for them as they take this relationship to the next level. The resulting sub-drop Leah experiences is startling and concerning, as is something she said.

With Leah in his home, it feels right to him but Leah still isn't a little. He does need to get her to open up to him and the way this happens will have you on the edge of your seat.

We see many of the characters from the previous books as well as Craig and Leah enter into something that may well be life changing for Leah.

From the cause to the temporary experience, this book rapidly becomes my favorite in this series. Extremely emotional, with laughter, tears and sensuous sizzle.

I think out of all Becca Jameson's Surrender series books, Convincing Leah maybe the most complex and insightful. A stolen childhood and an innocent admonishment shapes the adult in unexpected and surprising ways. It takes a traumatic event, supportive friends and a patient loving Daddy to finally allow the little girl to emerge from being buried deep inside the woman.

Leah is a woman very much in control of her life. She's measured and disciplined with no room for deviation. Although many of her friends including her bestie are Littles, Leah is absolutely certain that she has no such tendencies nor does she want to go down that road. Master Craig
was captivated by Leah when he saw her for the first time at Surrender. Although he's a Daddy Dom through and through, he's dialed back that part of him because of Leah's insistence that she's no Little. He'd rather have her submission in whatever form than nothing at all. When suddenly given the chance to be her Daddy even for one day he grabs it with both hands. Leah presses him about why he puts up with her not being his Little, he responds that he's "wishfully hopeful." That says it all!

“You realize he doesn’t scene with anyone else, right?”
“That’s his business,” I tell my best friend Eve. Eve chuckles.
“You don’t scene with other people anymore either.”
Craig and I aren’t anything. We aren’t in a relationship. We’re both members of Surrender. We meet once or twice a week there and do a scene together. Nothing else. You have chemistry, Eve points out.
Craig is a daddy through and through. He humors me by doing scenes with me at the club, but we’d never work out long term because I don’t need to remind you that I’m not little. Says Leah.
It wouldn’t hurt you to give his way a try just for giggles.
Pretending to be five is not just for giggles, Eve. Has he ever asked you to get together outside of Surrender? We talk, on the phone or FaceTime. Eve asks, have you met him outside of the club? No. But he’s asked you to and you’ve turned him down. Am I right? What is this, an inquisition? You better not make him wait to long. Eventually he’ll give up. This is the Very Basic Beginning to a Very Romantic Suspenseful story that I just could not put down

The next book in Surrender series is "Convincing Leah." Craig and Leah have been doing scenes together with Leah fighting the feelings she had for Craig and Craig trying not to scare her away. They both found each other extremely attractive. Leah likes to be spanked and spanked hard, also called impact play, while Craig is a Daddy. He felt Leah was fighting herself or hiding who she really is. When it was decided they would have sex after a scene Leah was concerned what will happen afterwards. When in the private room Leah didn't realize how intimate it going to be when they decided to have sex. All other Doms she had sex with it wasn't like with Craig. Before beginning the scene these two kissed. From there it went wow. I definitely recommend this book. Especially if you as a reader want to know what happens between them I believe as a reader you should find out. I definitely really enjoyed reading this book.

I was given an advanced reader copy this book for my honest review.

As always Becca Jameson writes some emotional and explosively erotic books. Leah, an author that doesn't share her pen name with even her closest friends, must decide if the little girl that never really got to be a little girl is someone that she want's to let out of hiding, or does she strictly want an adult BDSM relationship with Craig, who is a self proclaimed Daddy. Craig said he will change for her if that is what she truly wants, but Leah is not sure they could last if he has to change for her. Leah insists she is not a little, but will the trauma of being kidnapped by an insane fan of her books cause her to rethink everything she has ever "known' about herself. Must read to find out. Highly recommended!

I adored this book from start to finish. Don't be put off by the fact that it's Book 9 in a series as this is a completely standalone read. It does reference other characters from the Surrender series, but not in any way that will impact your enjoyment if you're not familiar. I really loved that a large proportion of this story is from Craig's point of view. I usually enjoy getting both sides of a story but it worked particularly well for this story. I was both surprised and enjoyed that the drama event was towards the beginning of the story, giving the relationship between Craig and Leah time to develop in the resulting period of adjustment. I loved that while Craig is a Daddy Dom, he was willing to be what Leah needed. Wonderful read.

Leah isn’t a little like her friends but does go to a club two to three times a week and does a Dom/sub with Craig. But when they leave it’s left at the club. Her friend thinks she’s a little but she is adamant that she’s not! Craig wishes that she was and he thinks she is but wants her anyway he can. But she gets kidnapped and taken to a place. She hopes her friend tells Craig and that he’ll find her.As they search for her they realize she’s has a stalker and he had plans for her. But when she gets rescued will she be alright? Will Craig help her? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

When a crazed fan starts threatening Leah Craig steps in to protect her . Craig and Leah grow closer as they spend more time together . Craig will have his work cut out for him convincing Leah to give them a chance . This story is well written and smokin' hot . I really enjoyed reading . I highly recommend reading .

I enjoyed this book! Leah is in denial on who she truly is. She will submit at the club but denies that she is a Little. Things happen that make her need to step out of her "normal" self and embrace her inner Little. Craig has wanted Leah since he first set eyes on her. He is a Daddy. Can he step out of that to be with her? What if that is what she really needs and is just denying herself. Now there is an HEA so we know they ... ummm... work out their issues. However the journey there is full of unpredictable events.

So, I though this was the sweetest romance!

Craig will warm your heart! Leah's story will have your heart aching! So, every soothing action on Craig's part, swoon-worthy as all get out!

This gave me so many warm fuzzies! Don't get me wrong, as in every Jameson book, the sizzle is there too, but.....

Read this book and the warmth will last for days, at least it is and will for me!

Just loved this one!

I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Loved it..

This was a thoroughly enjoyable story of how love can transcend the toughest of times. Not having a childhood that is classed as normal can be rough, it can also affect your view on life in general. When two opposites meet, it takes a strong Daddy to help his Little who is in denial, be able to find their love. A must read.

Wow Leah is in for a surprise or should I say she surprises quite a few people, but Craig has her figured out and is willing to do what it takes to get her where she needs to be.

Convincing Leah

This was a great story that kept my interest from the beginning. It was a shame that Leah wasn’t able to be a child because of things she couldn’t control. It was a blessing when she meet Crieg

Leah is her own worst critic. Childhood reprimand and her mom's illness made her too hard on herself and forced her to grow up too soon. Craig wants all her burdens and her submission. When a crazed fan kidnaps her, Craig makes it his mission to find and care for her.

Beautiful story! Loved seeing Leah's progress. Craig is amazing and so patient, all he wants is her. Must read!
