A Curvy Girl Sweet and Steamy Virgin Romantic Comedy

FIONA
I love reading romance novels. The dirtier, the better. But if you based my personal experience on the erotic fiction filling my Kindle, then you'd be sadly mistaken. When I sign up for a dating app to push me from fantasizing about the heroes in my books to hooking up with a real-life guy—I chicken out. Things go from bad to worse when my failed hook-up attempt walks back into my life. Can I take a page out of the books I love and finally act, or will I hold on to my V-card forever?

MICHAEL
I couldn't believe my luck when the dating app on my phone pinged, and I saw her beautiful smiling face with the words "Matched" underneath. But when the date doesn't go as I hoped, I figure it wasn't meant to be. That is until our paths cross again and we are given a second chance. Will this second time around lead us to the happily ever after that she reads about in those books she's always carrying around?

THE NICE GIRLS' NAUGHTY BOOK CLUB series are short, sweet, and steamy standalone romantic comedies about curvy women who enjoy reading naughty books, stepping out of their comfort zones, and finding love in unlikely places. Read FIONA if you like virgin romance, a comically awkward one-night stand, and a steamy romantic comedy that you won't want to put down. No cheating. No cliffhangers. HEA guaranteed.

1.5 Estrellas!

Stars: 4
Length: Lunch Break Read
POV: Dual
Series: THE NICE GIRLS' NAUGHTY BOOK CLUB 2 (Stand Alone but Connected)
Ending: HEA
Re-read? No

"Thank goodness that was a dream. Who knows what other idiot things I might have said when I was half out of it. Like I want to hand you my v-card. I love you. Can I have your babies? You know, the usual stuff."

I thought this book was a vast improvement on the first of the series. Both leads were interesting and Michael takes care of her when she is sick. I'm truly a sucker for that. It's just a plain fun quick read to take your mind of the monotony that is life. Give it a read!

This book was a Fast Read, Sweet, Funny, kool Characters, Strong friendships, Romance, Steamy because of the books they read and also a bit of steam with the main characters, book clubs, Dating App Romance..

It was fun to read about a book club and that some of the characters liked reading.. I thought it was kool that the members of The nice girls naughty book club always met at a café and they all talked about the book they read and what they thought.. It was also kool to see that they let each member pick a book each week..

Fiona is sweet, caring, funny, feels like no one sees her because of her twin sister, Loves animals, likes reading, wants to find someone that will love her

Michael is sassy, caring, loves animals. wants to find someone that will love him, works a lot and has a kool Dog called Denny

Fiona and Michael are so cute together and seeing their relationship grow was fun to read about.. Its a short romance story with a happy ending..

Fav characters are:
⦁ Fiona [A member of The Nice Girls Naughty Book Club]
⦁ Michael [Works for his office]

Turpmāk laikam nelikšu vērtējumus, jo tie būs zemi dēļ formāta, nevis paša stāsta vai varoņiem. Īsā stāsta formāts ir ļoti liels mīnuss.

Es jūtu, ka šī piezīme būs visās grāmatās no šīs sērijas - laba ideja, iespiesta mazā lappušu skaitā.

Šis ir retais gadījums, kurā man patīk visas varones no tā klubiņa. Kā jau teicu, man patīk tā kluba ideja.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Fiona Taylor is one of five members of the naughty book club, it’s at a meeting that she suggests a new book called Cherry Pop for them all to read, she relates to the main character who goes on a sexual awakening journey via a dating app. When her twin learns this she immediately signs her up too, within minutes she has a date with a guy called Michael, the picture with his dog seals the deal and she meets him the next night. She is shocked by how quickly they click and how much they have in common but will a misunderstanding and a shock meeting destroy what could be her HEA?

I really loved this book and Fiona is such a sweet character, seeing her let go and live was perfect and Michael really was her other half. I recommend this book and this series so far has me hooked. 4.5* read.

A great quick read in this new series. The storyline was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were genuine and had an instant connection that grew stronger after a misunderstanding. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

After joining a new book club focusing on naughty books, Fiona Taylor reads about a female character who sounds very similar to her shyness. The character uses a dating app, but Fiona would never do that. However, her twin sister, Michelle, signs her up and she is matched almost immediately with Michael Donahue. The fact his picture showed him with his dog was also a good indication that he was the right choice.

They met at a restaurant, Fiona first checking him out through the window. He was taller than she imagined and his hair was a bit longer. But as soon as he spotted her, hit face lighted up and his smile was cheerful. They talked about his dog, Denny, and she told him how she always wanted a dog. Now that she could get one, their company was bought out and the new boss coming to town that week is a control freak, so she knows she won’t have time for a new pet. He was glad she thought it through and wouldn’t re-home a pet when it got to be too hectic. She also told him she had always dreamed of running her own animal rescue and he got a startled look on his face. He was saving money over the next 3 years to buy land to do just that! Both of them became immediately comfortable with each other, like old friends. When he asks her if she would like to go for a walk, he hears her mumble, “What would Cherry do?” Then she agrees. They stop to get Denny, and the dog gives her a loving, excited greeting. After the dog park, Michael doesn’t want the evening to end and invites her back to his loft.

Back at his loft, they kiss and she realizes he means more to her than a single night. She feels something for him and doesn’t want to walk away nor cheapen the experience. She breaks away from his kiss and claims she has to go. He has no idea what is going on, offers to slow down, and whispers quietly, “Don’t go.” But she runs out the door.

The next day at the office, Denny runs up to her in greeting. She is wondering why he is here as Michael walks through the door. She can see his now guarded expression as her boss’ boss introduces her to his new boss, Mr. Donahue. He asks Mr. Phillips if it would be acceptable to take Fiona to lunch to thank her for her hard work gathering his paperwork for review, but she says she has plans. He immediately asks about dinner instead. As she is about to refuse, her boss nudges her and Mr. Phillips glares at her over Michael’s shoulder, so she agrees. But when he arrives at her apartment, she is sick with what looks like food poisoning. He carried her to bed and she asks him to stay, admitting she should never have left him. He brought Denny over and they stayed with her while she slept. He saw the sticky note with Cherry Pop written on it and remembered her saying that word on their date. So he downloaded it to see if it gave him a clue as to what made her run from him. Will he get his answer? Will he talk with her about it when she feels better?

This was a beautiful story about the nicest guy in the world. He was so patient and caring. Would he and Fiona accept their surprising second chance? Or will she let her fear make her walk away from the best thing that could ever happen to her?

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! By the time you’ve figured out who is who and who to like and dislike, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
(Believe me when I say you won’t put it down until the last page is read…you will find yourself getting upset cause someone called, texted or bothered you while reading this one, you will find yourself up at ungodly hours just to finish it knowing you have to be at work early (like 3am early) the very next day) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
I have since bought the first book in this series although, keep in mind I didn’t have to because both books read as standalone books. Fiona is sweet, kind to others, loves to read any hot romance book she can get her hands on, still virgin, but she doesn’t get out much, so after her twin along with the other girls in the club find out she is still holding her v-card her twin decided to sign her up with a dating app while at their usual book club meeting. Michael is this sexy as all get out man who accepted the date to have dinner but the moment, he starts to kiss her she takes off because she allowed her own fears to get in her way so she couldn’t enjoy the kiss. But she couldn’t run to far because Michael is the boss of her boss and so avoiding wasn’t an option after a cancelled dinner due to food poisoning and Michael being there to take care of her, reading the book Cherry Pop understanding her dilemma. Will they have their chance, and will they find happiness?

At the next Nice Girls’s Naughty Book Club meeting Fiona’s book choice unwittingly tells the group she is still a virgin, like the heroine in her book. Her twin Michelle decides to help her out with that and makes a dating profile for her using her own pic, they are twins. When they see Micheal’s profile with a dog she is open to seeing him. Michael has come into town for work, his family has acquired a new company. When he logs onto the dating side and sees Fiona he is instantly attracted to her. They message back and forth and agree on a date. Their date goes well and not wanting it to end they go get his Dog, Denny to take him for a walk. Back at his place they kiss and things feel very real to Fiona, she doesn’t just want to hook up with Micheal, she really likes him. Feeling overwhelmed she leaves. The next day at the office she’s surprised to see Denny, then Micheal, he seems mad at seeing her there but uses her hard work as an excuse to have lunch with her. She refuses lunch but reluctantly agrees to dinner since her manager wants to make a good impression. When he comes to pick her up, she’s very sick from eating a bad food truck lunch. He stays to make sure she feels better in the morning. He finds her ereader with notes for her book club book, he notices the word Cherry. Having heard her say “what would Cherry do?” He downloads the book and realizes that Fiona identifies with the heroine, a virgin who wants to lose her virginity. In the morning he point blank asks her if she’s a virgin and went out with him to lose her virginity. She tells him everything, expressing her feelings for him. He tells her he feels the same. They have their first time together. He goes back home to wrap things up, returns to open their pet sanctuary together. Epilogue with her pregnant.

Fiona is at her book club group when they start to discuss it. It is pretty much Fionas life. They all start talking about and find out the secret Fiona has to keeping all to herself. All the girls pick up on that she still has her V card. Her sister then signs her up on an app to find a guy.
After Fiona agrees she is set up with Michael. They were a perfect match. Both loved dogs both wanted to own a ranch for dogs. Everything was going good. Once back at Michael's place, Fiona got nervous and left. The next day while at work the new boss walked in and it was none other then Michael. He asks to take her to much but declined so he offered Dinner but when he got to her place and she was sick. Michael stayed to !ale sure she was ok. The next most she got the shock of her life when she ran to her dryer after her shower for towels. The shock was Michael standing in her apartment, she was shocked because she was naked.
From that day forward it was !michael and Fiona. That was until she took a test and instead of just hem they are adding an addition on. Finally getting their dream off the ground and a new baby love could not be better.

Cortos y bien contados .....

Fiona, 24, is a virgin who loves to read steamy romance books and her twin sister makes a date for her on a dating app while they are at their book club meeting. Fiona almost backs out but meets Michael at a restaurant , they talk for hours and they go to his place to walk his dog. However, she ends up running out after they start kissing because she is having second thoughts about a relationship. When she finds out that Michael is her boss’s boss will Fiona agree to see him again and see where the a attraction will lead them?

I enjoyed this short instalove story where Fiona was pushed to date Michael instead of just reading about romance. The author did a great job letting you see what the characters were thinking so that you could see why Fiona was reluctant to get involved. Michael was a great guy and his patience and understanding was an important part of their story. The epilogue was a fantastic ending for their story.

This book 2 of in The Nice Girl’s Naughty Book Club Series. Quinn is the facilitator, Fiona, Michelle are twin sisters, Jess and Courtney are apart of the book club. They like to read sexy, spicy romance and decided to form their own book club which meets once a week.

Fiona is feeling down after reading the book club selection for the week entitled “Cherry Pop”. Fiona is a 24 y/o virgin and blurts it out in the book club. She has been so busy with her studies and job that she simply hasn’t had the time to date. Michelle decides to sign Fiona up on the dating app “Tryst” and within a matter of minutes there are 3 notifications.

Michael and Fiona make an instant connection they find out they have a lot in common and they have a great time on their first date.

This a great short novella using a dating app, the characters are awesome, great word building, instant connection, easy to read, funny, romantic and of course an HEA.

Romantic finally happens for Fiona! This is about Fiona and Michael. Fiona, her sister Michelle, and others are part of the Nice Girls Naughty Book Club! I wish we had one of those around here! Anyways, she is a virgin and while they are in the club the topic comes about and they all discover even her twin sister that she is still holding out for the right one (which there is nothing wrong with this), but it a bit embarrassing for her. Her sister decides then that she is going to be set up in order to give it away and so she goes along with it. Fiona is too smart and doesn’t give it away right away.

The book is short but cute especially as they both have some of the same interests as in Denny, Michael’s dog, and work because he happens to be the new boss! Love it!

The second book in Lana Dash's newest series, The Nice Girls' Naughty Book Club, tells Fiona's love story, a fun instalove romance. Fiona is the most reserved of the group of women in the book club, which includes her twin sister Michelle. When it comes out at one of the book club meetings that Fiona is still a virgin, her sister sets her up with an profile on a dating app - and she instantly gets a match. Michael is in town on business and logged onto the dating app out of boredom, but when he sees Fiona, he is instantly enamoured - and once they meet, the feeling is very mutual. This is a sweet, steamy and swoon-y instalove romance with a couple of wonderful characters that has you rooting for them from the start.

I thought that this was a really good book. Fiona and Michael were great together. I really liked the connection and the chemistry between these two. Michael knew that as soon as he saw Fiona that he finally found his one but Fiona kept him at arms length. Fiona works a lot so her only social outing she really has a book club and being a bookworm. Fiona and her book club decide to sign Fiona up for a dating site, much like the book they are just got done reading. However, Fiona never met to fall for Michael and runs when she thinks Michael only wants one thing from her, not forever like herself. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Lana as an awesome author.

I love these short books by Lana. You don’t have to wait all day for the HEA. This one deals with Fiona, the odd man out in more ways than one. When Michelle hooks her up on Tryst the dating app, boy is she in for a surprise. Meeting Michael turned out to be easier than she imagine. They have the little sparks flying until Fiona decides she wants more and doesn’t let Michael know but runs off instead. Surprise, surprise guess who her new boss’s, boss’s, boss is. Yes you got it, Michael. When things go bad Michael stands by her and nurses her back to health. So yes, this is a short book but it’s worth the time if you are short on it.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Fiona is the second book in the ‘’nice girls naughty book club’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Fiona’s twin sister signs her up for a dating app, she never expects to find love. Michael moves to town he decides to try a dating app. He doesn’t expect to instantly click with Fiona.
The chemistry between Fiona and Michael is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It comes out at the book club meeting about the latest book 'Cherry Pop' a secret that Fiona was trying to keep. Her sister signs her for a dating app and she is matched to Michael. Fiona chickens out at the last minute and then finds out he's her new boss. A dinner is cancelled due to food poisoning but Michael takes care of her. He finds her note for 'Cherry Pop' and reads the book. Things move quickly from there but they are a very good match. I think Michael was very sweet to read the book to try to find out what Fiona couldn't tell him.

Ms Lana has come up with a book that I can pretty much say is me. Well, not the virgin part. But the part of doing for others and putting everything else in front of my own happiness and relationships (there lack of them, that is). Ive not done the dating app thing, but I still love how this story went. Boy and girl meet because others mainly her twin make it happen. The girl misunderstands his real intentions. Boy is her boss, so now what? With how her life has gone and him being her boss, can these two work out things even though she ran out on him?

This is the second book in the Nice Girls' Naughty Book Club. It's a funny, short and steamy instalove story. Each book is about ones the women in the book club but the stories read well as standalones so if you haven’t read the first book no worries there's no spoilers. Fiona ends up in the book club when her twin sister drags her along. When Fiona's sister signs her up for a dating app to help her find someone to help her lose her virginity she meets Michael. What are the odds that Fiona would find the perfect guy for her and not a random hookup with the first guy she dates?

I liked this one a lot

Fiona and Michael had such a cute story. I loved this book. They had great chemistry and I liked how the story progressed. There was a couple of holes in this story though, they never did touch on the fact that he never found out that the picture from the app wasn’t her and it’s unfortunate we didn’t get to see the important bits. They just jumped straight into a year into the marriage in the epilogue. That was disappointing but didn’t take away from the pleasure of reading the story. I would have liked a bit more closure though with those around her (friends, family and where they ended up). I gave this one 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the second book in this series and its so good.
Fiona would love her life to be like the books she reads in the book club but it isn't. When her sister signs her up on a dating app she goes along with it.
Michael can't believe that he has a match on the dating app he signed up with.
Their chemistry is off the charts but will they get more when it turns out he is her new boss.
Absolutely loved the ending.

Fiona is a sweet and loving romance that will warm your heart with this fast read. Fiona has no experience with men, her sister takes it in her own hand and signs her up on and app. Michael just moved to town and was looking to meet up with someone. Their date was going well until he asked her up to his apartment, unable to go further she ran. Never expecting to see him again, to her surprised she was her new boss.

Enjoy this well written fun story that you can't help but smile.

Fiona is at the weekly meeting of the Naughty Romance Book Club started by her sister. Fiona is discussing one of the books the group read and it becomes obvious that she has not had any sexual experience. This gets her sister to setup a date app with Fiona’s information. This is a quick little read that is entertaining, funny and a little sexy. Great way to end your day. I think you will enjoy! The characters are lovable, funny and original with a little crazy thrown in.

The Nice Girls Naughty Book Club meets again with this week's book being "Cherry Pop", which Fiona finds that she most personally associates with the main female character. She was the only one of the group still a virgin, so her twin sister set her up on a dating app. She met Michael and he had a dog, Denny. They made an instant connection at their first meeting. The type that will last forever just not one night. A wonderful story.

I am loving this new series about the nice girls from the naughty book club. In this book we get Fiona, Michael, and his dog Denny's story. I loved that every time Fiona wasn't sure about what to do she asked herself, "What would Cherry do?" This may be a short story but it isn't missing a thing. From the likable characters to the story filled with humor, steam, and a sweet happily ever after this is a great read. I look forward to reading the rest of this series. This is book two in the series and is a sweet story with some steam. The connection between Michael and Fiona is instant, along with their chemistry it was also believable. I liked the cuteness that Denny brought to this story and I liked seeing Michael not give up on them, that even though they had had just met, there was a strong connection between them.

Fiona got to pick the new book. When she is talking to the group, her twin decides to set her up on a dating app. She meets Michael through the app. She runs from Michael thinking she will never see him again. The next day, she sees him. This is a short, sweet romance. I love how Michael is willing to learn about Fiona through reading a book.
