I bought the book from the author's web site. I didn't know that meant there would be no cover, acknowledgements, index and many many typos.

Pretty straight forward and typical "Hail" book. Nothing out of the ordinary except starting to show the darker sides of his main duo.

Author states that DARPA invented Unix but I know for a fact it as Ken Thompson and the late Dennis Ritchie from Bell Labs... since I worked there and knew them! This is a simple fact that could have easily been corrected but it doesn't look like much fact checking or proof reading was done for this book.

Hoping the next "Hail" book is better, since I really do enjoy the stories and drone technology.

I absolutely loved this.
Hail is a brilliantly written complex character who fights on the side of good but likes to do things his way.

Another cracking read. It’s such a joy to get back into the world of Hail and his drones. A very absorbing story, well written and very fast paced.
