another edge-of-your-seat story that leaves you hanging!
I was so hoping this was the conclusion of this series, but the author wove yet another harrowing tale that brought me to a screeching premature halt! Book five picks up with Nani and her Trusted honing their skills and training new couples that have found their special partners. They go on dangerous missions to seal two more broken pillars and rescue other provinces from tyrannical leaders abusing their power to deceive and enslave the people.
Anna Travis’ characters continue to strengthen their relationships with the Breather and one another. Tensions rise. More secrets are revealed. And Nani recovers more of her memories. However it comes at a terrible price.
This is a terrific series, but I do hope the author can bring it to a conclusion soon! Do yourself a favor and wait until all the books are finished before you start to read. Waiting is such exquisite torture!
I have loved this series. It’s hard to remember the main characters are teens, but then again they are hundreds of years old too. In this story they acted more like teens, they were surly and often angry with each other, which was out of character compared to the other stories, I kept waiting for a reason for it to show up. That’s why I gave it four stars instead of the five I’ve given the others, the sniping and immaturity wearied me.
I did like Marcus’ part of the story and was so glad he figured out his gift truly was a gift and not a curse.
I have loved this series from the moment I discovered the first book.
“Lost” is book five of “The Milana Legends” by Anna Travis. I had thought this would be the last book, but was surprised to find the story is not over yet.
This book, as with the previous four, is full of action, emotion, and surprise. I couldn’t put the story down, yet there were times that I had to in order to process everything that happened. (And to make sure I was still breathing).
Fully a fantasy laced with much truth, “The Milana Legends” really are true **stories**.
A usual intriguing and full of adventure. I love the premise behind this book. A Great christian read for those who need it. A different way to think about the sacrifice that Jesus made.
