Freddie (Flounder) was playing 1 day when his parents were swept away by the water current.
He looked everywhere under the sea.
Freddie asked an octopus, 2 dolphins, 3 clams, 4 crabs, 5 sea turtles, same answer they had not seen his mom and dad.
They suggested he rest and start tomorrow to look for them.

I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.

An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary) lion storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational presentation, lion movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

Freddie!

What an awesome story. Freddie is miserable because he can’t seem to find his parents anywhere in the deep blue sea. He searches all over encountering other sea creatures that offer him some slight comfort. Freddie doesn’t want to give up his search, but he becomes very tired and eventually falls asleep. Does he ever find his parents? You’ll have to read the story to find out!!

Adorable

Cute little Freddie is lost and can’t find his parents. He encounters many different animals as he searches for his parents. Loved the illustrations and rhyme. Especially loved the surprise ending.

Great for all ages

Fun, educational, and speaks clearly to children. The are so many opportunities in this book to engage young learners: numbers, family, community, bravery and fears, colors, sea life, and problem solving. I can't wait to share it with my grandchild!

Great Read-Aloud — Brilliant Illustrations

Here is a quick read-aloud written in verse. This brilliantly illustrated story explores what may be every child’s fear. The story includes a bonus, counting, thrown in for good measure.

Cool Book

Freddie was looking for his parents and couldn’t find them anywhere. Oh how sad but when he fell a sleep what a wonderful surprise. We really enjoyed this book.
