The story flowed and it is a great start to a series. I was captivated from the beginning. I thought it had funny times and hot steamy times. Great book."

There is drama and so much tension in this book, especially till they start to like each other eventually. So well written, the characters were so likeable, broken and had big issues but definitely likeable, especially Luke. I enjoyed the supporting characters also, which helped to move the story along. Such a great book!"

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
REIGNITED LOVE
Makayla was returning to her small hometown to take over the newspaper when her dad told her he was not only retiring, but shutting the doors. Not only was it the only newspaper in town she grew up spending time at Charmed Gazette with her dad.
Nicholas left the Marines and was now a firefighter for the Town of Charmed. He can't believe his eyes when Makayla enters the diner. He hasn't seen her in two years. He's pretty sure she's deliberately avoided him the last few years when she's been back to visit her parents.
Why and for how long is she back? And how was she going to handle his news?
I loved this book! Makayla and Nicholas are amazing together. I loved watching them reignite their love without the towns interference, especially when Makayla gets the surprise of her life. I love all of the characters! Autumn is the friend everyone wants. Nicholas's buddies support of each other as they transition to life after serving in different branches of the military.
This book is very well written and the characters are well developed. I highly recommend this book and look forward to seeing what else will happen in the Town of Charmed.
SAVE ME
Luke may have a pretty face, but that's all he has going for him. Autumn can't remember what exactly he said to her on their first meeting, but she's never met a more terrible and condescending person in her life!
When her best friend, Makayla, decided to return to her hometown and take over the newspaper from her father Autumn decided to move with her. She wasn't happy in her public relations job and the man she thought she would marry turned out to be cheating ba$tard.
Now, Makayla wants her to interview Luke for the paper! She didn't care that he was a hero, she didn't want to do it!!!
I loved this book! Wow, do the sparks fly between Luke and Autumn. Everything out of Luke's mouth seems to piss Autumn off. It's doesn't help that Luke seems to get a kick out of it. This is the second book in the Charmed series. I love this small town and all its residents. I love Autumn's feistiness. Luke is just plain sexy.
I highly recommend this book. It is well written and you can feel Luke's frustration trying to heal and get back into society after being injured in the service. Although it can be read as a standalone I love that the mystery continues in the storyline giving the series cohesiveness besides the relationships that bind them together. I will definitely be reading more Jean Stokes' novels.
TAKE ME HOME
Caroline is back in Charmed and luckily it's on the right side of the tracks this time. She's excited for a new start and her upcoming job at the hospital as an emergency room nurse.
Dean's mother is on his case again to find a woman and give her grandkids. Even suggesting he join Tinder. Is she insane? Not only does cattle ranching take up all his time meeting someone online is not how he wants to meet someone.
After running into the sheriff at the diner Caroline knew she couldn't put it off any longer so she drove out to Dean's ranch. Better she drop the bomb herself instead of him hearing it from someone else.
I loved this book. The sparks between Dean and Caroline are literally explosive. The calm Dean seen by the town and his friends flies out the window when he's near Caroline. Throw a match and they will blow up and kill each other. I love all the characters and how they support each other. The storyline and action keeps your attention from page one. This book is very well written and spot on for small-town living.
Highly recommend this book and series and definitely add Jean Stokes to your favorite authors list.

Hayley took over Wheeler Diner when her grandparents decided it was time to retire. She doesn't have much of a social life with opening the diner at 6 in the morning and putting in long hours during the day. She only spent vacation time in Charmed growing up so even if she did have the time she didn't really know anyone.
Warren is the sheriff of the small town Charmed. He is also an a$$hole. He's an over protective father to his eight-year-old daughter Jessie but, he takes pride in his job and the Town of Charmed.
I loved this book and the whole Charmed series. All of the characters are amazing. They are full of depth and personality. Going into this last book I didn't have a high opinion of Warren from his actions in the previous three books. He is abrupt to the point of rudeness, but after reading his story he is more like a bull in a china shop emotionally. Probably due to his military service and being the sheriff. I'm glad Hayley was able to calm him down.
This series is full of action and the storyline throughout kept my attention from book one to book four. I highly recommend this series and plan to read more by Jean Stokes.

This is another set by Jean Stokes. Charmed set is about small town alpha males. The stories can be read as stand alone, but it is great read as a whole.
Reignited Love: Ever hated someone so much that you loved so hard. Well, this is how this story is. Makayla and Nick dated for one summer then said very mean things to each other and broke up. Took two years to see each other again just to bring up old feelings. But then to find out you actually are married to each other. Mercy what else could happen. Makayla moves back home after swearing never to return but just two years later she is back. Nick being back for about a year now after he gets out of the Marines. Nick sees her and both of them have feelings for each other but they don't want the other to know they do. So much was said on the last time they saw each other. With all the bad things said and felt do these two even have a leg to stand on with the other. Can the past be put in the past and move forward? Who all knows these two actually did get married when neither of them knew it really happened due to being so plastered? Want to know more grab this first book in this series. I really can't wait for the next books to come out see what happens between Luke and Autumn. Why do they hate each other so much? Can't forget Warren, Dean, or Hayley. So many people so many stories.
Save Me: WOW I was so wondering if this was going to be the next couple to get a story. They way that these two banter back and forth is incredible. Autumn moved with her best friend back to the town she grew up in to help take over the small town newspaper company there. She had a cheating ex that she left behind and a job that just didn't quit work out how she thought it would. So hey why not go with your friend to where she grew up. Autumn was not wanting a relationship but with Luke these two have a chemistry between them that is off the charts. With the issues both of these have you would wonder if they could ever get together and have a HEA! So we have to have you read this and see what the outcome is.
Take Me Home: This is book three, and it is about Dean and Caroline. They both were a couple before Caroline left, but they were secret about it because of her family name. When she left, she didn't mention she was pregnant. Now that she is back for a great job which she never planned on coming back, she wants to let Dean know about his son. People still have issues with her because of her family, and it takes a toll on her and Dean. Worst of all is his best friend Warren (Police Chief). This really bothered me as I did like Warren in the previous books. He acted like a child and it did not sit well, but guess people are who they are. Dean and Caroline are a cute couple. But with all the drama the others are causing with them, can they make it work between them? Will people realize she's not like her family?
Love To Hate: So this is the fourth book in this series. You can read just this or the set. I would suggest you read the set as there are side characters in each story that will be full circle to who is who and why and what they are doing in the small town. We have finally come to the sheriff of the town's story. Also, the young new diner owner. The sheriff and the diner owner are polar opposites. She is independent and doesn't need his help at least that's what she makes it look like. He is a OTT alpha male that wants to protect. So an independent woman is not in his mind. Save Me: WOW I was so wondering if this was going to be the next couple to get a story. They way that these two banter back and forth is incredible. Autumn moved with her best friend back to the town she grew up in to help take over the small town newspaper company there. She had a cheating ex that she left behind and a job that just didn't quit work out how she thought it would. So hey why not go with your friend to where she grew up. Autumn was not wanting a relationship but with Luke these two have a chemistry between them that is off the charts. With the issues both of these have you would wonder if they could ever get together and have a HEA! So we have to have you read this and see what the outcome is.
Take Me Home: This is book three, and it is about Dean and Caroline. They both were a couple before Caroline left, but they were secret about it because of her family name. When she left, she didn't mention she was pregnant. Now that she is back for a great job which she never planned on coming back, she wants to let Dean know about his son. People still have issues with her because of her family, and it takes a toll on her and Dean. Worst of all is his best friend Warren (Police Chief). This really bothered me as I did like Warren in the previous books. He acted like a child and it did not sit well, but guess people are who they are. Dean and Caroline are a cute couple. But with all the drama the others are causing with them, can they make it work between them? Will people realize she's not like her family?
Love To Hate: So this is the fourth book in this series. You can read just this or the set. I would suggest you read the set as there are side characters in each story that will be full circle to who is who and why and what they are doing in the small town. We have finally come to the sheriff of the town's story. Also, the young new diner owner. The sheriff and the diner owner are polar opposites. She is independent and doesn't need his help at least that's what she makes it look like. He is a OTT alpha male that wants to protect. So an independent woman is not in his mind. Even when the diner is robbed. Things get a bit intense with these two, but more things happen in the small town that means she just might need help. Will she be willing to accept his help?

I loved the Charmed series as individual novels, so have them in a complete box set made my day! There are 4 books in this series based in the fictional town of Charmed. Each one is about a hot alpha, ex-military man and their sexy heroine.
In the first book, we have a second chance, secret marriage couple with. Makayla and Nicholas (Kay and Nick). They had a hard break-up when both leave town. Both make it back to town and find out they are married. I loved how they reconnected and saw each other for the person they have become. Very grown-up.
The second book is an enemy to lovers with Autumn and Luke. She is Makayla’s best friend that moves to Charmed with Makayla to help with the family business, the local newspaper. Luke has returned home fro, his service, injured and trying to heal and find his place Inc the civilian world. Autumn is working on wiring a story about the hero that came home, so they are spending time together for the paper even though they rub each other wrong from the start. Of course, they fall for each other and see sometimes what you think about a person isn’t so..
Then we have a second chance, secret baby, she’s from the wrong side of the tracks story with Caroline (Care) and Dean. They were high school lovers, she leaves to pursue her education a gets an amazing job offer at home, so she moves back with toddler in tow...it doesn’t take long to realize Dean is the father and she comes clean. She has a lot of history with her bad family and even more convincing Dean and his sheriff friend that she is not part of them and really doesn’t want any part of their mess. They ultimately work through that for their HEA.
FINALLY, we get another enemies to lovers with a single dad story with Hayley and Warren. Hayley runs her family’s cafe and Warren is the single dad sheriff. Hayley connects with his daughter and he starts to think maybe Hayley isn’t so bad. Their story is probably my favorite, simply because they both underestimate themself and each other the most and have the most love to give.
If you like steamy romance with great friendships and a ton of heart, this series is for you!

After his on and off relationship with Caroline, he never thought to see her back in Charmed. Can they overcome their past and make a future for their son. Wonderful characters and a great storyline.
Love to Hate
An enjoyable read with a well-written plot. Hayley's diner gets robbed, but she moves on. Warren is drawn to Hayley even though he's not aware of it. He doesn't understand why everyone loves Hayley until he sees how she helps his daughter. He steps up and saves her when the diner is robbed a second time. The characters are wonderfully developed.
Charmed, Kansas is a lovely small town with wonderful people.

I totally enjoyed this excellent set of books, each one was so intriguing loved them all.
Reignited Love: Such a great fast paced read. Makayla wanted nothing to do with Nick, but he was able to work his way back into her heart. She is such an outgoing very likable character. I loved how accepting Nick was.
Save Me: I so much enjoyed this excellent book. Autumn and Luke hated each other so much, I didn’t think they’d ever get around to loving each other. Autumn was able to really know Luke and help him through so much. I loved Nancy, she was a rock for the both of them, but mostly Luke. This book is full of such great characters.
Take Me Home: I loved this wonderful book, Caroline rises above what others think she is. She is a strong, independent, talented woman. I love how Dean tries so hard to be the man Caroline and Cody need. There is so much to recommend about this book, you won’t be disappointed by reading it.

It was good to be able to read all of these stories in order to get to know all of the characters in chronological order. Here are my short thoughts on each of the stories:
1 - Reignited Love - The first from the series about the small town named Charmed! Nice little story about two young people who have grown up a bit since they parted ways after a huge fight. I enjoyed hearing about the small town and look forward to more in the next books.
2 - Save Me - What a sweet romance between two characters from the first book when they get past their bad feelings about each other! I was a little disappointed that the arsonist from the first book wasn't found and I guess I'll find out how this gets resolved in the next two books.
3 - Take Me Home - Even though the woman featured in this story was a member of the town's "bad" family, she was definitely not cut from the same cloth! Her moving back to Charmed sets the stage for a heart-warming second chance for this romance.
4 - Love to Hate - The couple in the last one of the stories gets my vote as the least likely to get together - but they do! The mystery of incidents happening in the previous stories finally gets solved with a surprising twist.

Note: these. stories are mostly independent of one another. I say mostly because there is underlying threats that shadow our main characters throughout the 4 books and beloved characters that are in each book. Family by choice as well as family by blood. Former military men and their stronger ladies. Great stories, romance, Stubbornness on both sides, independence, serious romance (sexy, complicated). I found myself wanting to reach in to hug, to cuddle, to shake, to smack upside the head to the characters. I enjoyed reading the books!

This box set has 4 great stories all in one box and I would highly recommend reading them. Once you start it is hard to stop, then you finish one story and can't wait to start the next. This is a series of 4 books all about one town called Charmed. Each story relates and continues the prior to it is best to read them in order but you don't have to. This is a great series that is well written and well thought out. If you are into real life stories with a happy ending this is definitely the series to read!!

Very entertaining, well written and steamy set of books. This boxset contains all four books in the Charmed series that take place in the small western town of Charmed, KS. The stories center around small-town friendships, military service and second chances. I loved each of these books and have reviews them all separately if you want a more in-depth review but my absolute favorite was book four. Jean Stokes has a way of drawing you in to the story making you want to keep reading. I really had hard time putting the books down. Sleep is so overrated am I right?!

You cannot go wrong with a collection of stories about strong, dedicated, protective, military men who have worked together and trust each other. Some of the stories are second chance at love stories when these scarred, hard working men get the chance to get back with a lost love while the other two are with women they just met or work with. In all cases they are trying to protect the townspeople from violence in the form of criminals attacking the town of Charmed. These stories have humor, love, romance and happy endings.

May 5, 2021These books are so addictive! I was unable to stop reading. Book two Save Me, is by far my favorite! I enjoyed the banter and back and forth between Luke and Autumn. All the characters were kind, honest, open and flawed. They all have huge hearts and truly care for those around them and their community. All the books were an easy and fun read. Be prepared to stay up all night to complete them.

These were a great set of stories that has a different set of characters with different drama and twist that keeps you entertained and the enjoyable characters are great too

Loved this box set!
This was my first box set from Jean Stokes and she did a fabulous job! Sweet characters in a charming town with just the right amount of heat and they all got their HEAs. Will definitely be reading more.

Wonderfully fantastic... This book set was amazing... It had a lot of details and captivating scenes to them... The characters and their personalities match them perfectly... The plots and the storylines were very descriptive and amazing...I would recommend this Boxset to anyone!!
