USA Today bestselling author J. H. Croix writes emotionally charged, steamy small town Alaska romance featuring protective firefighter and first responder heroes with big hearts and smart, strong heroines. Best known for her interconnected series set in Willow Brook, Alaska, Croix creates immersive fictional communities where the town itself becomes a character and found family is at the heart of every love story.
In a few pages, this author had me hooked to the whole series and now I'm crazy to devour it all. I loved series of interconnected standalones and one of the things I love about it is that we get to see and hear about all the characters, even if they're not the main ones. This time, I've met Gabriel and Nora, but as they talked about their situation and their family and friends, I wanted to know them all so much.
Another great book in this series. This one is Nora and Gabriell's story and they are full of passion and built-up anger. Nora is Flynn's sister and Gabriell is one of his best friends and pilots that works for him with his wilderness adventure company. They think they are keeping their relationship secret but there is no way to keep those feelings hidden and when things go wrong it will take some doing to get back to each other.
This might be on the start of Nora and Gabriel's story but man is it hot. They both know they want to be with each other but can't help fighting it. Gabriel already broke Nora's heart once will he do it again?
Short! Have no idea where this is heading in the way of will there be a romance or not? Would of gave it more stars if it was a standalone with out a cliff hanger!
