Living in a small town means missing out on some big city things. We didn't have a fast food spot in the little town I lived in while my children were young. It was a real treat to go into the city for fast food.
I was able to relate to the excitement Lady and Horace went through, having a fast food joint open up in Dark Lake haha.
Lady and Dom seem o spend less time with Crispin and Destiny now, but they are still a great team when they do get together to solve crime.
Being able to work at solving the murder behind the dumpster, Lady and her friends are kept pretty busy.
A few surprises in this book as well.

Lady and the gang are asked by Connors to help with the stabbing of an employee at the newly opened fast food joint, Bigby's. Ruth, a shy girl who is from a very strict religious family is stabbed outback of Bigsby. No one has a bad thing to say about her. Then there are the mysterious unicorn sightings. Can the gang find the truth about the staffing and the unicorn? Is there a connection? Strange things are going on at Dark Lake again. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This was yet another entertaining and enjoyable mystery/adventure for Lady and her friends. With more mythical creatures appearing and a injury at the new local fast food restaurant Lady is busy. Lady is now being encouraged to look into things and help out by Connors.
I love this series, it's a wonderful light and easy to read, entertaining book.

This is a different type of witch story that I fell in love with. The Characters are developed as the story goes along. The main characters are well described and you'll fall in love with them. Great Reading Everyone!

Unicorn

There are several things which need explaining. How was Paul involved? What did he do? What is going to happened to the grocery store. How about Crispin and Ostuya? I did not like these unsolved things
